Blaine County's Possibilities

Recommended Posts

There is a lot of buildings out in Blaine County that would be great to RP in. (The two Large Farms in Grape Seed, The Car Dealership inside of Harmony, The Mobile Home north of Sandy Shores, The two Civilian Airports, The bar)

Focus on implementing a Sheriff's Department and getting more activities out in the county to do (Hunting, Fishing) and maybe even inside of the Sheriff's Department we can run DNR (Department of Natural Recourses) and enforce hunting/fishing laws and such. City life is fun. But it's the same gang vs cops deal. I wanna see players fill up Blaine County and RP interesting things. Server has potential. Let's use it.

Great idea for when the player numbers pick up. As it is we are sending players out of the city which creates a real dead atmosphere. What we would like to be doing is bringing players back to the city to encourage some more RP. But definitely food for thought!

The problem is not the player base (You can have 30+ people and the city would still feel dead). It's the fact there is no "Main" strip to follow within the City. As I stated you can take about 5 alleyways, three streets and hop on the highway to get where you need to go. Com paired to the county where the cities are small and the roads are more centralized. Allowing for more fluid player interaction. Also adding unique role play experiences.

Here is a very badly drawn illustration of how much better the county does at filtering players around and still making it feel very much alive and this is just with 25 players in mind. Take a look at the Entire map of Los Santos. You either have to centralize the city (And not use about %70 of the city as an active playing space) Or spread it out using the entire city but losing player interaction.fyzreh.jpg

While I agree that having players condensed into one area would be more effective, I do not agree with it being the way we had envisioned things. Again, a future idea.

With the actual playerbase, even If you want to use the city, you can try to restrain the activity in one neighborhood instead of the whole map, that would cause players to run into each other more and interact more than nowadays, thus tightening relationships between the player base.

Agreed ^ Using the whole city of Los Santos will be a nightmare. You will have to restrict players to certain areas of the city because if you don't. Player interaction will die down making the player-base bored. You cannot hope for a rise in player base if when they log on it takes them 20+ minutes to just talk to someone.

Again. Those areas are hard to judge. You have to think about it like this. Would a gangster hang around the rich area of Los Santos? Would a rich man hang around the poor area? There is so much that goes into trying to centralize an area. You have to look at it from a different point of view.
