1. Not asking for it to be able to keep up with sports cars. Just asking for it to be a little faster. Again. My preference is the Crown Vic. I own one IRL and I always drive on IG. I know the capabilities of these vehicles and I know how they should or shouldn't handle. The only reason I even brought this up was over the chase with the pounder. The officer with me clocked him going 160. And I was stuck at 150. Be it server script lag or what ever but we were not able to keep up with him in the vic. And we barely had any sort of acceleration on him. (First few seconds we would gain a few feet, then he would be cruising at our speed)
2. Check out those videos to get an idea of what players want. That server is a FiveM server so it's limited to 24 players. But all throughout the day/night it is always packed. They've got the formula down and don't use all of the advanced features. (Everything is pretty much text based when it comes to the MDC, if you watch the video you'll see what I mean) EDIT: And if you look in the video, the cop car reaches 190 km/h with ease
3. State of Emergency - Modified Handling Also Department of Justice I believe. And when it came down to the chase. No, you can ask the other Officer. The handling was about the same and they were going about 160 (The other Officer's radar clocked em) so unless there is some major lag to where it makes the vehicle go faster then it actually is. I don't know what to tell you.
4. No. It's not the Boxville it's the Big Goods Delivery Truck (Wasn't able to find a name) While yes. We have other Police Vehicles (Charger or Taurus) and I myself am not a fan of either of those. (Hate the rear of the Taurus, and the Charger just looks stupid) The Crown Victoria is the iconic Police Vehicle, hop in it yourself and drive down the road. Try to chase a few people, it's just unbelievably slow. The Taurus is already modified (Full engine and turbo modifications) so I don't see a problem doing it to the Vic. If changing the handling of every single vehicle is the route to go (Which a lot of the popular RP servers in GTA 5 do) then that's the better route as it brings more realism to the table. EDIT: Also, we were not able to get the cruiser past 150 (I was with another officer during this chase. He was using the radar which is how we figured out the Box Truck was going 10 KMH faster.
5. In fact %95 of the time. The officers are alone or have one other unit (At least when I get on the server) and again. If you're driving in a box truck. You shouldn't be able to outrun or keep a distance on the cruiser. I suggested cruisers speeds to be improved along with the damaged engine script that way even though the cruisers are fast. We have to be careful when handling them because we can wreck out quite easy. As Link says this isn't GTAO, It's not like when you run. There are 10+ other cruisers diverging onto you. It'll probably just be the guy that engaged the pursuit and maybe one to two other officers. We also don't have dedicated air support. I'm not suggesting all of the cruisers to be bumped (The Charger and Taurus are fast enough to keep up. While the Crown Vic is the slowest and can barely top 93 mph (The speed it tops out IG is about 150 KMH). (I own a 2002 vic. These things can top out well past 110) They should be fast, and able to top out at around 200 KMH, If anyone here needs proof that these things go fast. I'm more then willing to putmy vic on the road and post a video
6. I don't think you read the post. I was chasing a BOX TRUCK that was going faster then my car. You cannot block those kinds of vehicles lol. You can call in backup. But if your vehicle cannot keep up with a truck that IRL would max out at 80-100 MPH. That's crazy.
7. Wouldn't add an actual Crown Vic mod (I just call the Undercover a P71 cause that's what it's modeled after) What I'm suggesting is to slap on the engine and turbo modifications.
8. Again. Those areas are hard to judge. You have to think about it like this. Would a gangster hang around the rich area of Los Santos? Would a rich man hang around the poor area? There is so much that goes into trying to centralize an area. You have to look at it from a different point of view.
9. Agreed ^ Using the whole city of Los Santos will be a nightmare. You will have to restrict players to certain areas of the city because if you don't. Player interaction will die down making the player-base bored. You cannot hope for a rise in player base if when they log on it takes them 20+ minutes to just talk to someone.
10. Blaine County my friend! Los Santos is to large of a city to fill. I've played for about 3-4 hours and only interacted with a few people, most of the time it's driving around a dead city doing nothing and when you find that one person, you awkwardly charge them for some sort of social interaction. I notice about 25 people on peak hours and this would be more fun and entertaining.
11. The problem is not the player base (You can have 30+ people and the city would still feel dead). It's the fact there is no "Main" strip to follow within the City. As I stated you can take about 5 alleyways, three streets and hop on the highway to get where you need to go. Com paired to the county where the cities are small and the roads are more centralized. Allowing for more fluid player interaction. Also adding unique role play experiences. Here is a very badly drawn illustration of how much better the county does at filtering players around and still making it feel very much alive and this is just with 25 players in mind. Take a look at the Entire map of Los Santos. You either have to centralize the city (And not use about %70 of the city as an active playing space) Or spread it out using the entire city but losing player interaction.

13. As a Law Enforcement Officer I cannot stress how important this is for all of the officers. When we are in a pursuit, traffic stop or just responding to a 911 call, location is key to the success of the situation. Currently we are in LS and there are about 150+ streets - Alleyways that we can take. (Which is another reason I much prefer the County. Less confusion) and when you are preforming a traffic stop. Currently we describe our location. "Two blocks east of the Police Station, Three blocks south and then a block east" That alone is a hassle in itself. So it would be nice if we could get a simple street display on our HUD for the Officers.
14. It seems every vehicle within the game is faster than the P71. I was chasing a truck for about ten minutes. (Was a HUGE box truck) and I couldn't even accelerate faster than the guy when we were both at a dead stop. Either the P71 should be modified. Or every vehicle's handling line should be modified to their real life counter part. In the end, Modifying every handling line as well as having the engine disable script makes for very interesting pursuits and driving in general.
15. If the vehicle takes X amount of damage in an accident (Meaning. It doesn't add up to X, it has to meet or go about the X requirement) the engine of the vehicle would turn off. This forces players to drive realistically (Had a player that took one of the huge box truck/semi looking trucks off of a bridge which was about a 50-80 foot drop, and continue on their way as if nothing happened) and when Law Enforcement Officers use pursuit tactics (P.I.T) the player cannot smack into a wall going 110 and then continue on their way. This would also force LEO's to think wise in pursuits as we cannot just turn it into a wreck fest ramming everything in their path. Advantages - Limits pursuit lengths. Limits pursuit speeds to a realistic speed (No more taking corners going 110+ sliding into a wall, crushing in that side of the car and continuing on your way)
16. There is a lot of buildings out in Blaine County that would be great to RP in. (The two Large Farms in Grape Seed, The Car Dealership inside of Harmony, The Mobile Home north of Sandy Shores, The two Civilian Airports, The bar) Focus on implementing a Sheriff's Department and getting more activities out in the county to do (Hunting, Fishing) and maybe even inside of the Sheriff's Department we can run DNR (Department of Natural Recourses) and enforce hunting/fishing laws and such. City life is fun. But it's the same gang vs cops deal. I wanna see players fill up Blaine County and RP interesting things. Server has potential. Let's use it.
17. I'm going for the Deputy. Late 20's, White male. Average build, 6'2, Assertive Sheriff's Deputy that you find out in the back roads of Blaine County.
18. While I understand that player-base may be an issue. If we keep the current LS-PD and just find officers that qualify for Deputy within the Department. We shouldn't have a problem. The department wouldn't be like LS-PD and it would have a very strict recruiting policy. We would be allowed to patrol in the county (Compared to LS-PD realistically not being able to due to area restrictions) and would mainly run radar on the highways, respond to 911 calls within Blaine County. And keep check of the 18-Wheelers that roll through the county. As the player above me stated, he plans on RPing out in Blaine. And having an LSPD cruiser roaming around out there would terrible. And I've seen a few suspects flee to Blaine county to avoid us after they lose us.
19. Location - Sandy Shores Reason to have - Would operate within Blaine County, Running radar on the Highways, Truck Enforcement and enforcing Law where the LS-PD cannot realistically due to restrictions. Vehicles - Sheriff's SUV, Sheriff's Cruiser, Unmarked White Cruiser Uniform - Sheriff's uniform with Sheriff's Hat Pretty much. I am willing to lead the Sheriff's department as I have a lot of experience within Law Enforcement. I'm currently apart of LSD but would prefer to be out in the county.
