Our goal with this newsletter is to give players a better look into our current focuses, recent changes, and a sneak-peek into upcoming developments. If you’re a member of our Discord server, you may notice that the development channel has been a little quiet. During this time, we broke into the development team’s 95th floor luxury penthouse suite and stole several sneak peeks from their filing cabinets. From the information we’ve gathered, it looks like this stuff is dropping in November! Remember to keep this between me and you, it’s super secret. Vehicle Cosmetic Updates Chameleon paint is making its way to ECRP. Though, not just as body paint. It can also be applied to your wheel rims, pearlescent, interior, or dashboard color. If you’re someone who’s excited about vehicle paint, you’ve likely run into the frustrating realization that certain paint styles don’t allow you to pick your own custom paint color with it, only allowing you to choose from a small pool of existing colors. With this update, that limitation is no more. You can now pick whatever custom color you want and combine it with the reflective properties of any other paint type. For example, you can pick a custom vibrant pink and apply a matte finish to it. In addition to this, six missing license plate styles have been added to the customization menu to help players get that perfect plate match with their freshly painted car. Toggleable Mods If you’re a car enthusiast, you probably struggle with choosing between getting pulled over every 10 minutes and having a wicked lowered stance car with low grip tires. Well, struggle no more. Just like neon underglow and xenon headlights, these two mods will join the crew of being toggled on the go. After remaining stationary for a little bit while the action timer does its thing, you’re free to switch between a road legal hooptie and a high performance drift car with law enforcement never suspecting a thing. HSW Mod Support Those of you who are in-the-know may have some interesting speakers and shift levers installed in some of your vehicles. As you may have suspected, that $500 rocket booster strapped to the back of your car is being addressed, but tastefully so. Before you have a heart attack looking at the prices, please keep in mind that they scale with the base price of the vehicle they’re applied to and that those shown in the image are not confirmed to be the final amounts. Prior to installing any of the HSW mods, you’ll have to install the HSW Performance Upgrade on your vehicle. After you do so, you will have the option to upgrade your HSW mods. All mods have their full names displayed now instead of their category names, making it far easier to see what you’re changing. Obviously the HSW upgrades will be more expensive than standard upgrades, but this is to balance out the fact that they provide significantly more performance advantage than the others. Additionally, the performance bars seen at the top of the provided image are going to be reworked to be more representative of their actual changes rather than the current arbitrary values made up by Rockstar. Tier Promotions The following factions have joined the tier system as a verified faction. With this, they have the potential to earn tier promotions that will grant them access to new items, tools, and roleplay opportunities. You can read more about the tier system here. Alliance has been placed in Tier 1. The Sirens have been placed in Tier 1. The Rebels have been placed in Tier 1. ZT Crew has been placed in Tier 1. With the addition of these four factions, we’ve now reached a total of more than 20 criminal factions in F4. In the past, a number even close to this would be unheard of. We recognize and applaud the faction management team’s efforts in creating a system that allowed this to happen. The introduction of FM 2.0 has seen existing factions flourish and given newcomers the opportunity make a name for themselves. Be sure to keep an eye out for future updates from them! On the 15th of October, the ECRP Event Team launched the Halloween Photo Contest. The terms simply required members to submit photos of their characters in spooky costumes or situations, and the best photo would have a chance to win credits. First place wins 5,000 credits, second place 3,000, and third place 1,000. You can see the top 3 submissions and the names of their creators below! Ritchie Stones Posted November 11, 2024 Report Posted November 11, 2024 loving the HSW option to come to the game, but I would heavy consider its pricing, most of the server rarely makes it above 1 mil, at least it takes them a very long time to do so, back when the private labs this idea would be more sustainable, but nowadays making a mill is way harder and far more inconsistent, and I'm not sure many are willing to pay such high amount, when the same money could be invested into something like a house, that gains value overtime, and ppl having multiple cars, this is going to be very heavy to lift. maybe 250k would be doable, especially for ppl with more cars, I cant imagine spending 5 mill on topping 5 cars altho I have 7.5 mil atm, I don't see a 1 mill value per car, so its locking out majority of player base, about the lowered stance and tires etc, top notch work devs loving it Quote
