Test Drive feature for Car Dealerships

Ever bought a car not knowing if you are going to like the handling? I personally have, I feel like it would be a great feature to be able to test drive these cars, you will not be allowed to put anything in the storage such as glove box and vehicle trunk, but able to view the capacity of trunk. You can also only test drive for a limited amount of time, the cars are not choppable.

I think the best way to handle this concept is to just place the player in a different dimension with the car for a limited time (maybe 3 minutes for example). This way, they cannot use it for crime or do anything to abuse it while test driving. 

EDIT: To add on, the car could be spawned as a temporary copy of the one on the market/dealership and should allow you to add or remove mods for easy testing of its max performance (or something less if you wish). Also if its a copy, this would ensure that any damage you did to the car during the test drive wouldn't actually damage the real car. Of course would have to prevent anyone from being able to chop these test drive cars.
