Manuel Romero
Issue Being Reported: Ever since the GTA mercenaries update was released I was unable to join the Eclipse server or any other server on the rage client. This issue has been a pain in my ass for almost a Month now and I have tried every single common way to fix this, GTA story mode and Online Works perfectly fine with no error messages when I try to run it but my RAGE client just won't work. I've gotten through a lot of errors but just the other day I managed to finally load into the server but only after 5 minutes of playing it gave me a Failed Zlib call error message and it shows this now whenever I nove or stand Still for longer than 10 seconds. (Failed Zlib call error message is when a certain file is corupted and it Still appeared when I redownloaded Both GTA and rage) Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone): 12/6/2023/GMT +2 Your characters name: Manuel Romero Other player(s) involved: N/A Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: Evidence or notes here Edited July 6, 2023 by Manuel Romero It cut out some dialoge
Bala
This is, if I remember, usually due to the game not being able to find certain files in a resource. I would go to your client_resources folder in your RAGE-MP directory and delete the Eclipse folder. The files inside are going to be named with letters and numbers so you can either look based on the dates of when you last downloaded files or you can delete all the files in the folder but if you do that, you'll have to download the files from every server you re-joined. Reinstalling GTA V won't fix this issue because it's likely not from the base game but from the content you download from our server. Failing that, uninstall GTA V and make sure your GTA V folder is clean of any mods.
Manuel Romero
The first solution has not worked so I will have to resort to the 2nd option and redownload GTA V, although I do not know in which folder or how the Mods look like, if you have the time please do point me in the right dirrection, thanks. David Bingley
Go to the directory GTA is installed in and look for a file called commandline.txt In that file add -verify Save the file and the error should be gone.
Manuel Romero
This method has also failed to work. It is still displaying a failed zlib call error message. Edited July 12, 2023 by Manuel Romero
