Question to the devs

Recommended Posts

Long Story short:

GT:MP dev's are ex GTA:N devs that quit. GT:MP is an old version of GTA:N with more bugs and sync problems. It just has the GTA:N new launcher that was planned for the future (stolen).

This doesn't really answer the question. The sync seems the same to me and afaik the client is actually more stable that GTA:N already & they're actually going to support the client and give updates.

Who said that GTA:N isn't going to support the client and give updates? They (GT:MP) are not actual GTA:Network developers, they worked on third party content, like the launcher, but not the actual mod. The version of GTA:Network they stole is outdated, so I doubt it's any better than the one we use now. Also, GTA:Network is being tested for release, so the update is imminent.

If GTA:MP is just a rip off then obviously GTA N is better. But only time will show which one gets ahead in development.

Yes, if there's a great gap between the mods, it's natural that we will choose the one that will enable us to provide our community with the best experience. We'll see how good is the GTA:Network update and how will the two mods compare in the future. Right now, there's no reason to move the server over to GT-MP
