Jeff Tate was born in the north trailer park of Slab City, His parents- verbally/physically abusive created a negative environment for one to develop learning abilities of moral codes. Jeff Tate learned at a young age that extortion and violence were ways to help him gain the items in life he desired. He frequently charges people for their rights to place business or be in areas that he deems "his". Jeff often uses his Charisma to get what he wants when things are going well and brute force and knowledge of how the system works to socially engineer himself into situations that most may not be able to do.  Jeff Tate was banished from his trailer park for charging the other tenants "lot fees" when he was no lease holder of the property. Once he was banished from the only place he knew he fled to the city. Once in the city his Reign of Terror began. Jeff could no longer camouflaged himself into the barren desert or dense forests. He always had people surrounding him which made him feel more vulnerable. When Jeff does not have things go his way, he tends to lean more towards the violent side. He tried to extort a government official with the threats of leaking important information in which Jeff Fabricated. Once things started to go south with this plan and he lost traction, the police began to close in on him, trailing and tracking him which backed him into a corner of desperation. Once backed into a cage Jeff took the government employee hostage and once he was realized things were not going to pan well for him. He slit their neck causing them to succumb to their injuries on the spot. Once he did the swat team moved in subduing Jeff and placing him into custody for first degree murder. Jeff sat in jail awaiting trial and sentencing, as he waited he developed and honed in on the skills he learned in the streets and began using them inside the prison. Jeff smoothly could convince a blind man to buy sun glasses, or inmates to attack others. He even began friending guards which would smuggle in contraband to help his stay become easier. One of Jeff's tricks of the trade was collecting the largest amount of stamps in the Jail. Jeff was proud of his stamps. One day during a riot, one of the correctional officers confiscated his stamps setting Jeff into a wild rage. He waited and stayed patient. He spoke with other inmates collecting information on this correctional officer. Once learning and studying about him, Jeff coerced a gang member inside the jail to send a message to the correctional officers family. Jeff then approached the correctional officer reporting to him that he was the cause and if he did not receive payment further action would be held against his family. The correctional officer complies to Jeff as if he was going to cooperate. Once the correctional officer left the cell block he reported to the Warden. The warden took swift action shipping Jeff Tate onto a bus straight to Santos Department of Corrections in Blaine County.

 

Jeffery Suffers from an extreme case of Schizophrenia/multiple personality disorder, His imaginary protector Jinx; is used to justify his horrible actions he puts onto people.
