How long do police officers search for a wanted car?

It stays on the BOLO system until the server restarts. I can't confirm myself either but we look out for ALL cars on the BOLO system. However, a lot of the time they are chopped within 30-45 minutes.

In UK we have ANRP cameras so it just scans your plate and it stays on the Police National Computer for an indefinite amount of time (until your stopped)
