  1. CHAPTER I - THE LOST CHAPTER (Pictured above from left to right: Leo Marks, Jake Hurtado, Dan Falcon) After moving to Los Santos, Jake Evanate (now Hurtado) knew that his path wouldn’t be carved for him and that life in the city was not going to be an easy ride. Jake, originally from England, came from a broken home. His Mother, a single parent and Father, absent. Back home, Jake had become increasingly involved in the underworld, trafficking firearms and selling them to the highest bidder on the streets of North West England. His move across the Atlantic was fuelled chiefly by the mounting pressure he was under from national law enforcement. After moving to Los Santos upon the recommendation of a friend, Jake intended to go straight, leave his ‘old life’ behind him and settle on the west coast. Any notion of going straight however would be quickly shattered. A leopard never changes its spots, and if you put a successful arms dealer in a city founded upon crime, they see only two things. Money and influence. Jake began networking, he forged documents allowing him to apply for a legal firearm permit and began scouting for clientele. He knew that so long as he played it well, reporting a few firearms missing or stolen occasionally wouldn’t arouse suspicion from the law. It was through this hustle that Jake met Leo Marks (pictured above). Leo, a seemingly hard-working mechanic but with ties to a Motorcycle Club no reasonable man would consider whiter than white. Leo, at the time was a ‘Prospect’ for the Lost MC. (Pictured above: Lost MC having their bikes serviced at Bayview Mechanics, Paleto) The Lost MC, a group of ex-military, convict, outlaw bikers that held territory in Sandy Shores. The Lost MC also had cartel connections, the means to import serious arms to the city. Jake now had a new goal. With a feigned interest in American made motorcycles and a rapidly growing book of customers Jake asked to be introduced to Lost. Leo obliged. Jake was not ignorant, he knew that to become trusted by closed door groups such as these was no easy task, it was going to require months of graft, blood to be spilt and money coughed up to the bosses. Jake bought himself a Nightblade, easily afforded for by his low-level arms dealing up to this point and began to join the Lost on rides through drug labs. After some time, Leo took Jake to Stab City, the Lost’s HQ in Sandy to meet Lucifer Migati, the current ‘Sgt at Arms’. The meeting went well, and Jake became an official ‘hangaround’ with the Lost MC. Jake held this position for some time but quickly began developing strong bonds with the more established members of the Club. Jake’s networking skills and ability to get things done were quickly realised when he delivered two Pistol .50’s to Lucifer a mere 15 minutes after being welcomed to the Club. From here Jake continue to grind for the Club, pleasing the High Command with his work and earning a positive reputation amongst his fellows and becoming a Prospect. (Pictured above: Jake Hurtado as a Lost MC Enforcer watching over an arms deal) With the Cartel back in town the Lost MC began shifting huge amounts of merchandise, primarily to the Goblins. Street trade also saw a massive boom. Jake, with his already established network at this point took full advantage also. Jake was selling anywhere up to 20 .50s on a daily basis earning him both money and substantial favour with the club. It was also quickly realised that Jake was a very competent fighter, killing many in the name of the Club. As a result, Jake was promoted to Member and onto the rank of Club Enforcer rapidly. As an Enforcer Jake began to really try and sharpen up the Lost, ensuring Club Members were behaving correctively and representing the Club well. (Pictured above: Jake Hurtado as Lost MC Warlord in Stab City) Many years later, Jake had worked his way up to Lost MC High Command. He was battle scarred, wealthier than he had ever been and had the upmost respect. For a man who initially cared little for the Motorcycle Club, he had sure grown to love his brothers. He had seen all sorts of horrors and committed what many would consider atrocious acts for the good of the Club. (Pictured above from left to right: Lucifer Migati, Jake Evanate) (Pictured above from left to right: Lewis Smithers, Jake Evanate, Lucifer Migati, Leo Marks, Lexi White) Jake by this point had assumed the rank of Warlord and oh how many small wars he had fought. Not just with the Lost, but in his life up to this point. There was no rank more fitting. The Lost had become more active on the overall gang landscape in the last month. They were frequently on joint radio frequency with other big players. Namely, La Familia Michoacana, Aztecas and Goblins. They often assisted in holding down drug labs and other various strategic objectives. It is there that Jake began to get close with the members of other major gangs. In particular, he had a very natural connection with Axel Hurtado and TJ Hurtado. The three became great friends almost immediately, they shared something in common, despite being members of wholly different organisations.
