I like that split tbh! I hope it’s something they consider

I like the idea of a new market split, legion square is not the location though it is way too busy.
I’d also say 50k-700k is a better range and mid-range would be where current high end is.
then anything over 700k can go to a new “high end” that’s smaller and in a nicer location.

I agree with the negatives you made eg the law enforcement hindrance, but i also think this could be fixed with a /checkVIN command - it means if law enforcement atually find the vehicle, they can check the VIN, but if the criminal manages to drive away and escape, they don't.
Yeah that’s the kind of thing I meant with the bit about inspecting for tampering, a way to identify through rp and investigation if they do find it to have some sort of breadcrumbs to pursue more rp from. But if it gets away then fair play so I agree!

Could work pretty well
An action timer and 30-60 seconds to remove it similar to chopping but just with a screwdriver in inventory
It drops in your inventory as an item called “plates XXXXXXXX”
and can either be put back on yourself or by a mechanic maybe for more rp for them
Possible issues are probably on the technical level depending on how reliant the MDC and vehicle scripts are on license plates.
Also possible hindrance for law enforcement RP, so maybe taking plates off and putting them back on yourself would have evidence of tampering that law enforcement could investigate should they find the car later but with plates back on.
Theres also things like speed cameras and mini MDC that would need behaviour changed based on not having plates, or having the wrong swapped plates on a car (since currently they’re tied to the driver and even a bmx without plates can trigger the speed camera). Then there’s the issue of how would they handle vehicles that don’t have a plate model but would realistically have plates such as a lot of motorcycles.
Overall, could be neat but there’s a bunch of questions that would need answering to make it viable imo, and using a scrap or stolen car with the current system could get you to the same endpoint of making it less easy to track anyway

I propose a system where houses owned by inactive players for 1-2+ years are put up for sale to benefit those who are active or new to the community. This way, the housing market remains dynamic and accessible.
This happens, just nowhere near often enough like once a year if that

Are the prices not set by the player ran business that created the order

I imagine this is implemented for when the vehicle is technically floating so when cars are ocean dumped they’re recoverable. This one single stream is just deep enough in parts to trigger this by the looks of it. It’s unfair it happens and an admin would probably recover your car for you in a “/report 2” if this happens but I think it’s an okay compromise to get cars back from the ocean for how rare this issue is
-
But you can buy the same SUV, and bikes etc and faster cars in general? What part is unfair?

Probably people stealing the car.
Just park at the actual parking area and get a taxi to work?- 1

that MLO actually has support for flashing lights and a kind of “lockdown mode” I’m pretty sure, it was in the demo video for it, wonder how viable it’d be to implement.
there used to be /lockdown back in the day that locked all doors and cells but it stopped working a long time ago.

/togglebloodfx
This is a workaround sure but if the chat box can be elevated in the UI that’d be a win for people that want to keep bloodfx

Bonus points if /removefurniture gave any kind of indication of what the fuck I’m deleting too, a 2 second flash or even just the prop name in a confirmation box is better than playing games of chance

If I remember correctly /anim taxi is the single-use version of this whistle. Imo just replace the whistle one with that so they both do the same thing

In both scenarios it just seems stupid to give demands or evade if it’s so obvious what they’re doing? If they didn’t react then there’d be no consequences surely?
People striving for better realism is a good thing, absolutely not criticising the main parts of your post, I just think the part of them baiting isn’t really on LEOs for attempting it as much as it is criminals for falling for pretty basic entrapment.
-
I really don’t get into either side of these situations so I’m only gonna comment on one part that seemed odd:
You say ‘crim baiting’ but how does that work? Cop baiting is a thing because cops *have* to respond to crime, but it doesn’t quite work the other way around right? Can’t people just not take the bait by attacking or chasing them?

You should put a discount for the one with LP SHAGGER, it's embarrassing

Bumping this again now we have casino chips.
I saw the excuse someone threw around ages back on another suggestion like this about it being at risk of duplicating but that's pretty irrelevant nowadays since stamps can be sold for money, the pawn shop exists, and casino chips exist, all ways a theoretical duper could make bank if a glitch/cheat like that was even possible.

How would you envision the house/dealer working in doc? Since the current implementation of blackjack doesn’t quite work player vs player?

/dice x should be a super minimal change to the code surely, instead of random 1-6 it’s random 1-x
i really hope devs see this and just stick it in
