So look at it from a crim standpoint, you know PD aren't changing their tactics and training, you dont want to lose all the shit you might have on you, which if youre a standard criminal with a heavy, it's probably about 30k street price right now (using average) then you pay a fine and go to jail for however long. Why risk that, when knowing pd use old tactics, you can just run and outmaneuver them in the city on a bike that is good at that.

I agree. What needs to be looked at is an underlying issue. The drags themselves are not the issue but rather a symptom. And a reasonable one - it is reasonable for a crim to save up all their money for a drag when they know it helps them make money more effectively by avoiding PD engagements, fines, and jail. IC issues that can be addressed ICly as stated above with training and tools.

What if you looked at this from the lens of what could be added rather than take away. What tools or support do you feel could be added or tailored on your end to make PD more effective in these situations rather than taking away from crims what they already have - and have worked hard for.

(I personally was only able to get a drag with a loan from a friend because I (and most other crims I know) are broke AF - if you think the vast amount of Crims have a whole lot of disposable income just lying around then you have a misunderstanding)

  2. Hello there - I (Charlie) am looking for a 2-3g house that I can call home. If you are selling a home or know of one that is in the 600-1Mil range please let me know! You can simply direct me to your ad here, or reach out to my by my cell # 457-9050, or through my email Krooks 365#[email protected]

I am not picky as to where in the city so just show me the options you got 🙂

Hope to hear from you soon!

  3. Just my opinion, it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I suggest that XP should be account bound not character tied. XP is primarily used as a wall to keep inexperienced people from jobs until they have gained enough 'experience' to show an understanding of the city and of the server rules. I understand from the RP side that you need to like start over in terms of city knowledge when you have a new character. So perhaps even if you had like an aggregate total of XP that was account wide and you could see the breakdown but the aggregate total was used for the most part.

The second part of this is I believe that jobs/RP roles in which you will have a high chance of being put in situations where you will have to interpret and follow rules to a T (robberies, killing people, arrests, etc) [yes I am talking about PD, SD, and Gangs] ought to have a higher XP threshold to get in.

Right now the threshold is only at 5k for PD, 6k for SD, 7k for Wanted, 25k for Triads, 15k for Zetas. I think all should be at least double digits requirements. I could sit at the bank for three days at get 5k and not know the city nor the rules.

I think this would lead overall to more competent and quality RP on both sides of the legal line.

+1 I have been a huge advocate for this ever since the rules have been "changed" to make the current status of DM what it is now. The "My shields are up" mentality needs to end with cars.

    +1 for this reason

If this is your reason for -1 I think you've missed the point of the original post. You would have a valid RP reason to humiliate the person at that point.  The point is to avoid the "handshands" crowd from just balding everyone they rob for no valid RP reason.

No I fully understood the point. Giving the person the ability to deny me cutting their hair will make it so every tom dick and harry can be like "you know I don't feel like having to go to the barber... so deny" I don't cut hair of any person I rob unless they are disrespectful to me, my own, or my property. Or if they are stupid and try to lie to me. That is my point. Instead of requiring this permission it is better to put pressure on those who provide absolutely piss poor rp during robberies.

-1 my character only shaved heads when he's lied to or shit talked. People who comply when being robbed at labs keep their hair, phone battery, gps, etc. Brandon wants the drugs and guns to make money. But when people insult him, threaten revenge, say "I have nothing" then we find their stash bag, they lose their hair, phone, car gets chopped, etc

This. Dont want to lose your hair? don't lie.

This is a situation where even though PD most likely DOES do a good job of not abusing a system, the fact remains the system should not exist at all... it is an unrealistic thing. We can't role play flying away or using our super sonic hearing to listen in on PD detectives, I don't believe they should have a number a person cannot escape... period.
