You can earn a salary while in jail, can't you? If you can you broke the rules by abusing the AFK timer. Just because your intention of reducing your jail sentence wasn't for in-game asset gains doesn't mean you couldn't have accidentally benefitted in that manner. It doesn't need to be written that explicitly circumventing an OOC force in the world is punishable.
