+1, I've seen so many situations in my time where Situation A and Situation B are identical with the outcomes being entirely different. At times, you can't help but theorize why certain people tend to get away with certain behaviors yet an unrelated and unaffiliated individual will be punished for the exact same behavior. On top of that, I've heard a few times that the "rules" are up to the handling staff member's "interpretation." Like, what does that even mean? If it's left up to someone's interpretation of said rule, it's not a rule.

+1. I've got keys to a few apartments/houses that I use regularly and sometimes I find myself driving to 2 or 3 of them before I finally find which apartment my car parked in.

If you don't want to lose your license then don't participate in activities that could cause you to lose your license or have your car impounded. Drive the speed limit and don't evade. Don't participate in criminal activities that are likely to get you pulled over and feeling like you have to evade because you have gun/drugs/etc on you. Take the loss on your guns/drugs/etc if your license is that important to you. If your biggest complaint is that you have to be without a license and/or your car for 6-12 hours, you are aware evading is optional, right? Or, you know, just... successfully evade. No arrest, no suspension, no impound. Problem solved.

Don't get me wrong, I hate having my license suspended as much as everyone else, but it doesn't really prevent you from doing anything, except drive legally and getting your vehicles from the impound. You can still drive, you just run the risk of being pulled over and arrested for driving on a suspended license. Steal a car, borrow someone's car, buy more vehicles, ride a BMX bike, etc.

Sounds like something that should be changed as well then. No real reason that someone who hasn't logged in or played for years who is wanted for some insignificant offense to appear alongside people actively playing every day/every other day with an active warrant.

-1 If you don't want to get IA reported, don't do something that has consequences and would get you IA reported. If you didn't actually do anything wrong, there would be no punishment. LEOs should be held to a higher standard than average citizens... so, I mean, either roleplay as such or don't. Either way, actions have consequences. If people with extensive criminal records are not taken seriously when submitting IA reports, the only thing that opens the door for is LEOs feeling comfortable in abusing their power and getting away with it, because they know said person has done x, y and z and... who is gonna believe the crim over the cop? I don't know if there's really a way to filter whether or not they are "serious enough" to be addressed without actually reading them and looking into the issue... which just puts us exactly where we are now. There's also pettiness on both sides. A petty IA report might come about, just as a petty charge is tacked on to someone who gets arrested. It's not a one-sided issue whatsoever.
