So you're saying it's fine for Europe to connect to US servers, but... you don't want the US to have to connect to EU?

Oh.. okay yeah I see what... you're saying now... wait no?

He’s talking more about the benefits of AU/NZ if the server was based in the US. @FiLThYFreaK is that correct?

No because in real life, that isn't how community service works dude... if you did any research you'd know.  They are often given a set amount of time required for community service - they do not just do a job and get money from it which then goes to their fines... that's not how it works.

What happens is that they are given a set specific amount of time, and it is not related directly to how many tickets they may have.  A person would not be expected to work community service for the rest of their life because it is not fair.  I literally met someone today with 600k in tickets, you think it's for them to sit around doing money transporter jobs for SO many hours?  No.  This is why we are suggesting a more suitable solution.

If you are going to continue to use real life comparisons, please make sure they apply correctly.

I said that these jobs can be used as community hours.

The more tickets and fines the more work?

600k is idiotic. Whoever this is should go back to gta online.

E.x.a.c.t.l.y.... if you can't pay them, there's a system such as community hours.  THIS IS WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR. xD

Do you know what community hours is? It’s where you work a shit job until you pay them off.

So you’re still paying them off! Just work as a truck driver or garbage man and that’s your community hours.

    Come on man keep up.

Just like there should be an IC and RP way to pay tickets rather than only a ticket system which was implemented primarily to stop people breaking OOC rules and overly speeding near NCZ.

I would like to make you aware that if you get locked up in real life your tickets aren’t erased and you have to do community hours to pay for your fines.

  5. BIG -1 This is our server! Get off! I don’t want 350 ping! 😂😂 Also the European player base is really high, so why change to a US based server just because there ‘may be’ more players.

Thank you you for the contribution but it’s a no from me.

My brother told me that this comment looked aggressive and that wasn’t the plan! Although I don’t think the change would be beneficial for the server and I wouldn’t want to see the swap to US servers.

Well I'm not sure about that but NPCs in the city are impossible to maintain due large amounts of desync with such a high number of players in the server however in the case of animals we can disregard desync completely as it will all be client side and each player will therefore have there own set of spawning NPCs, once again I have no actual experience in development so this is all hypothetical. Also animals could also only spawn whilst you are hunting meaning that you wouldnt be able to just shoot them whilst driving around.

I get you but my point is that I think RageMP doesn't support NPC's at all. So implementing NPC's might be impossible on RageMP.

I'm completely aware of Eclipse's server functions. I'm not sure if its just on my end, but sometimes the cruise option is a bit unreliable. There are times when it should be on, but I go over my designated limit and other times when it just won't register that i'm clicking L.

True! I just reset it every time I hop back into the car.

These speed cameras are so non-rp imo.
How the hell does it make sense that you get a ticket, if you have a stolen car and you have a mask on, pure bs.

Well no wonder because it’s an OOC problem.

Committing a crime in an NCZ is breaking server rules.

What happens when you commit a crime in an NCZ? An admin gets involved and RP is paused.

Camera’s do need changing but everyone speeding at 150km/h past the bank isn’t good RP either.

As I said.... people assume that there'd be a realistic way that every new player is not completely fucked for the rest of their time on the server because they didn't realise the issue fast enough.  Once again, people expect there to be a better way to wipe tickets.

My friend had the same issue. Worked up a shit load of tickets, had to name change to wipe them because once he realised how damaging they are - he had no choice.

I understand you more now. The problem is new players not knowing the long term problems. This should be explained in the server rules and made crystal clear for newbies...

The issue is that some people don't realise how punishing it is until it's too late - and they're already screwed.

There should be a way to remove it - even if its TOO punishing, like a very long prison sentence.

So many people get a load of tickets, and then don't care cos they won't pay them - only to realise quite how punishing it is, then they regret it and want to drive properly.

One of the main things I want from this - is effectively a way to RP'ly reset it.  There are people who want to go back to driving properly but they'll never be able to afford their tickets, so they either see it as 'fuck it I'll just keep speeding' or they quit.

The issue is that players often find out the problem too late, and then it's just that... too late.

Speeding camera’s are a simple deterrent so I don’t understand how people struggle to identify that?
