    AudioBug

I’ve also had the same issue since around the Casino DLC update. I made a bug report myself, but I thought it was only client-side; thus I deleted it. After talking with someone in the discord last night who also had the same issue, I now know it’s widespread and not a specific issue to me.

    Los Santos Triads

Part 2 Without the knowledge of a plan being executed on the outside, Bruce snapped a pool cue in half and stuck it to a DOC guard's throat. When the guard's backup arrived, Lucy pounced and took that guard hostage as well. The guards were told to drop their weapons as Bruce and Lucy used the guards' cuffs to use them as hostages. They navigated around the hot spots of Bolling Broke. Somehow none of the other guards on duty noticed what was going on. Once outside, Bruce and Lucy got the guards to unlock a police cruiser. The two cops sat in the back row while Bruce drove and Lucy sat passenger. The rest of the Triads had no clue that Bruce and Lucy decided to escape on their own terms. Within a few moments of Bruce escaping and purchasing a radio, the classic "Hello Team" sounded into everyone's ears. There was a moment of confusion as everyone tried to figure out what to do next. Bruce gave a location just North of Alamo Sea where the helicopter would be able to meet him and land. A few other Triads met at the location to make sure Bruce and Lucy could enter the helicopter safely. Bruce and Lucy entered the helicopter, looking out over the scene they left behind. The two officers were still cuffed in the back row of the cruiser. They'd be lucky if anyone found them. Jace flew the helicopter as Thomas sat passenger. Bruce and Lucy could see for miles out the doors of the helicopter. They felt free but the mission wasn't finished. The helicopter landed safely on top of the aircraft carrier. The ship interior was a maze to navigate, but Al Lancaster was able to lead them to the boats stationed at the dock beneath the carrier. Bruce switched into medic clothes and was handed a mask to conceal his face. Lucy was also given a mask so she couldn't be identified. Both Bruce and Lucy were heavily wanted at this point. The crew was strapped in and ready to head out. The helicopter had been left on top of the ship without a GPS. It was untraceable and nobody would expect it to be left on top of an aircraft carrier. Once the Dinghys arrived to Vehicle Imports, the passengers exited the boats and entered cars parked above. Bruce and Lucy had made it out safely. The group dispersed as to not raise any more suspicion than was already placed over them. Even though the plan hadn't been followed through as expected, it gave the Triads valuable experience. No matter the time or circumstance, they could be in the air with a helicopter, in the sea with boats and jet-skis, or even on land with a plethora of vehicles. It seemed that nobody could stop the Triads even if they wanted to.

    Los Santos Triads

Part 1 On October 29th, Chinese gunrunners made their way towards Los Santos. Their mission was to drop off a shipment, which they already received payment for, and get out unnoticed. Off the coast however, a local fisherman spotted the suspicious vessel and tipped off the LSPD. Unbeknownst to Bruce Wong and Mackenzie McMahon, their day was about to get a lot more interesting. The SWAT team mobilized and set up at the location, where Bruce and Mackenzie were taken into custody and shipped off in a heavy convoy to Bolling Broke prison. Lucy McMahon would be waiting with open arms for their arrival having already been locked up on previous charges. While Mackenzie went to sleep in her cell, Bruce and Lucy began thinking of ways to escape. Without contact to their family on the outside, they had no idea what was being planned to break them out. They could either do the time in prison or take matters into their own hands. Meanwhile, a few Triads began coming up with a strategy to break them out. It couldn't be a any old prison break. They never work. Jace Bianchi came up with a brilliant plan but it would require something very hard to obtain: a helicopter. After a long time debating and finalizing the plan, it was time to prepare. By getting a helicopter, it would be easy to fly into the yard, scoop up Bruce and Lucy unnoticed, and fly out. An unaffiliated friend of the Triads visited Lucy in prison and explained to her that she and Bruce had to "play a lot of basketball" out in the yard. This would be very vital to the success of their plan as the helicopter would need an area to land. Jace had begun working on getting a helicopter. He asked a medic to give him a tour around the city to "shoot photos and video for a Weazel report", and they obliged. Jace asked the medic to land at Humane Labs where he would "take videos of the inside". Little did the medic know, Triads were already setup around the corner ready to take the him hostage and steal the helicopter. Upon landing, the Triads swarmed the helicopter and took both men hostage, to make it seem as if Jace had nothing to do with it. Jace was then "ordered" to change into medic clothing and fly the helicopter. The hardest part of the operation had been completed and a helicopter had been secured with a gang member who could pilot. Out in the ocean, Jae Fang and Jenna Maye sailed to an aircraft carrier. The helicopter needed somewhere secure to land, and this was the perfect place to do it. The boats would bring the crew from the helicopter to Vehicle Imports, where a handful of vehicles would be setup ready to give rides. The helicopter had been obtained, the boats had been setup, and the cars at Vehicle Imports were ready. All that had to be done was fly into the prison and pick up Bruce and Lucy from the yard. However, things rarely ever go to plan... Perhaps Bruce and Lucy had an idea of their own? TO BE CONTINUED...
  5. -1 Although I wasn't on the server during the time of super cars, here's my take on this. In real life, there are certain cars and bikes that can easily outrun cop cruisers and even cop helicopters. This is something that police departments have to plan for, and setup tactics in case it ever happens. It's not realistic to limit the speed on super cars, how it is now, or even limit the speed on a motorcycle, just because a normal police cruiser can't keep up. There should be at least some chance for the person to escape if they're on a bike or in a car that's meant to go fast. There's a reason PD has high speed units; although unrealistic, it helps close the gap between fast cars and PD cruisers. Let's take the Turismo-R for example (a super car). In real life, the Turismo-R is a McLaren P1 GTR which has a top speed of almost 350 km/h. The average police cruiser hits about 250 km/h top speed. On the server, the Turismo-R is capped at 202 km/h while the top speed of a normal police crown vic is near 220 km/h. In what world does it make sense for a police cruiser to go faster than a multi-million dollar super car? In conclusion, some bikes and cars are meant to give people a chance to escape from the cops. Just because PD can't keep up with Drags doesn't mean they should be removed from the market. Perhaps the root of the problem, the insane amount of money in the economy, should be looked at instead.

    Los Santos Triads

酷刑 (Torture) For about a month, the Triads had been consistently hit with crime suppression checks, multiple shootouts with law enforcement, open case files, and a deep investigation into the inner workings of the gang. A detective named Alex Keller had been working on our case for quite some time. He seemed to know a lot of information about the gang. Too much information. It was time to take the issue into their own hands. They were tired of the blatant harassment by the LSPD. One day, Alex Keller was posted up outside the Zetas 24/7 store. Jae Fang decided it was the perfect opportunity to kidnap him. The CCTV's from the store could be edited to make it look like nothing ever happened, and we had enough people to make a secure convoy to a remote location. Jae Fang entered the vehicle that Alex Keller was sitting in. Jae Fang pulled out his pistol from his waistband and aimed it at Alex Keller, demanding him to get out of the vehicle. Alex Keller complied, and stepped out with his hands up, having no clue what was coming next. Jae Fang stripped Alex Keller from his radio and panic button. He then ordered Keller to get into the contender, in which he would be transported with multiple others to the site where he would be taught his lesson. Al Lancaster, surrounded by other Triads, drove Keller to the secret location. Keller was patted down by Jae Fang, and removed of his service weapons to make him defenseless. It was at this point that the Triads had Detective Alex Keller right where they wanted him: defenseless and in their hands. Keller had been wearing similar clothes and hairstyle of one of the Triads' members. His shirt was removed and better yet, his hair was cut off with a knife. His hair was gone and it was time for the Triads to get more serious with the torture of the LSPD detective. Alex Keller was held down by multiple Triads, preventing him from being able to move even in the slightest. Lucy McMahon acquired a knife and had a genius, although somewhat insane, idea as to what she should do with Keller. Lucy began by pressing her knife deep into Alex Keller's chest. He tried to resist, but he was held down by multiple individuals. It was physically impossible. Lucy then began to carve the letter "L" into his flesh, making it deep and seemingly permanent. Keller screamed at the pain of the knife, but there wasn't anyone in a five kilometer radius that would be able to hear his cry for help. He was hopeless, defenseless, vulnerable. Lucy continued to carve more letters into Alex Keller's chest, and by the time she was done, she had carved her name "Lucy" into his flesh. The pain and blood loss was too immense for Detective Keller, and he passed out after the carving had finished. Alex Keller was knocked out cold. He wasn't waking up any time soon. And even if he does end up waking up, what all would he remember? And so the deed was done, it was time to wrap it up and head out. Whenever he was found, if he was found, the LSPD was in for a nice surprise. Perhaps this would be the one that got the message across. Enough was enough.
