On my end ,if i log in too quickly it times out ,what i do is when i start gta multi player i wait for 30 seconds, than connect to eclipse rp ,than wait 30 seconds and than type in my pass and log in try it

Put an effort in your application and that will not be an issue.

You can always join a gang IC or apply for a government job here on the forum. As you start off and get accustomed to the game and general attributes ,you should start looking into meeting people ,ask them what they do etc... find out stuff you know

Did you follow the checkpoints ? I also got confused the first time and just went in this parking spot ,but take a look around cause further away you will see checkpoints that you have to follow and in the end you will need to park. Let me know if it worked out.
