  1. Hey, can anybody give me an update on this? I haven't heard anything about this so far.
  2. @Chief Pupui @TheFluciFial @Albatrosgaminng Yo! I appreciate your input, guys, Thanks for getting in touch with me! I've actually thought of that, as well as having it be a faction vehicle, but here's the reason why not; I plan on takng longer routes to give people more time to answer the questions, as well as setting up elaborate 'pranks' and such. Like driving up on a crime scene where the cab meets the description of the perp's vehicle, or a gang shootout errupting near the cab, ect. If I'm doing a ride-along with an actual cabbie, I don't have that kind of agency. It's like being the director of a movie, And wanting to get all the camera-angles and such right, but you don't get to use the camera. If I actually get to drive the cab around, the cabbie will be getting calls all day while I'm getting footage and won't be able to answer them. He won't have his vehicle near him so he won't get money. Which sucks for both the cabbie, and people who need a taxi. Also, based on IC justification, There's no real reason Red Harlow with his connections in Weazel couldn't know some NPC Prop-smith who could whip up an independent looking Taxi-cab for him while still making it justifiably different from your company's cabs. Furthermore... the idea of it being a faction vehicle didn't rub me the right way either because I'm sorta concerned my co-workers might get the cab out and just shitpost with it. And sort of ruin the novility of the thing by doing it all the time instead of it being a pleasent surprise like a real gameshow. Like, I've got the gameshow, A reality TV show I have planned, an action movie; I like being on Weazel news, I just want to do something other than drive up to a crime scene and "/record" then stand around for 5 minutes where the most excitement I get is being told to step back by a cop it's fucking STINKY
  3. I WANT A TAXI SO BAD I WILL +1 THIS TO GET IT
  4. Yo man, I'm the reporter guy who complains about ties lol. I wanted to do a game show for Weazel News Network with a Custom black and white Taxi where I pick people up and then ask them questions like a game show. A mix of Cash Cab and "Truth" from truth or dare. I've got two questions; 1. Can I have you give me a Taxi Cab as an In Game Personal Vehicle for in game money/Credits? 2. If you were to give me a Taxi cab, being as it's not a faction vehicle, Would it be possible to paint it black and white? @Xylum
  5. Date and time (provide timezone): 9/16/2017 11:44 PM Character name: Red Harlow Issue/bug you are reporting: Ragdolling on the top of the monitor in the heist room causes you to "stand up" or 'spawn' out of world. I lost an SMG with a suppressor and an extended magazine as well as a pistol and a flashlight; I'd like to get those back, please. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate:

  7. Bleh. Sorry if I'm making this a little too personal. You're totally right, There's two sides to every coin, and I am just being ignorant to the possibility that his side of the coin would change my opinion.
  8. Well I appreciate your dedication to put it on good faith that he was in the right.
  9. Anyway; We had a healthy conversation, and I'm glad we could. Thank you for providing avocation in the opposite direction. You've given me some things to think about, to be sure, but I can't say you've swayed my opinion. Food for thought: Notice that despite being Weazel news, I haven't made a post about every single cop that tells me to "move back" from a crime scene? That's because those people actually seem to make an effort to play a character-- As opposed to just playing themselves.
  10. You seem to be operating under the assumption that I was doing any of those things. When I called the cops on the man in white, the arrived thusly; and in huge force, actually. And there was a huge chase that ensued. A TON of cops showed up. And I'm sure it was exhilarating for them! Because it was a group of like... 6+ shady figures with fast cars and big guns. That said, I appreciate your approach to help better the efficacy of RP in the server. But this guy doesn't seem to be part of that effort. The only reason I'm not posting this in character is because I wasn't recording when he let that criminal go back to his criminal friend. It is absolutely undeniable that that man was letting everything the man in white did fly. Whether because of OOC or IC collusion doesn't matter to me personally. Longform into shortform: Thank you for the warning; But I'm not going to let this guy shit on me while making exception for the man in white. Note: He wasn't treating him as if he was cop-baiting. There was interaction. If he was treating him as if he was cop-baiting, He would have made efforts to tell him OOC that he should stop. Don't you think? Do you think you might be a bit biased in this situation?
  11. I will put my hand up and say that there was a moment when he was driving away that I mistakenly thought I'd be able to ICly hear them. Which was a rookie mistake, tbh; It's like... My first week. I just can't figure why he wouldn't have arrested that man in white; Anybody else that wasn't him would guaranteed have been in cuffs. I can't help but imagine it's either collusion or an OOC lack of motivation. It would be interesting if it were collusion, tbh. It would make his character Stonewalling my attempt to let him clear up the situation all the more funny-- Because I asked him if he could clarify-- He told Harlow "There's no way I'll tell you" or some sort-- And then calls Harlow a "fucking retard" for thinking there's corruption as he immediately freezes up and goes on the defensive. Lol Though from my interactions with him, he didn't really seem to stand out as a particularly masterful actor. It sorta sounded like he was just speaking Semi OOC out of spite to me-- As much as I'd like to give him that benefit of the doubt, the venom in his words seemed a tad "personal". And then the part where they started defending the man in white? fumbling over the "two crimes don't make a crime" thing... Again, doesn't lead much credence to the idea that they were exempt of malice. They seemed pretty defensive.
  12. You know what? That is a fair line of speculation; And were every one of those variables true? I would happily accept being wrong. That said, them doing absolutely nothing about that guy who previously pulled a gun to my face and told me to fuck off doing the exact opposite of everything they say, and even accepting "I don't listen to the fucking cops" as an answer is a little ridiculous. I would like to believe that your speculations are correct, but as of right now, it just seems like you're giving him an unhealthy excess of the benefit of the doubt. For some reason? It's weird. I'm curious as to why the man would have been cuffed if he were an informant. tbh. I'm curious as to why they would cut a trade deal sparked by the serendipitous occasion of stumbling upon my dying friend. And regardless of rank, Most of the time a cop sees a person dying in the road, They usually strive to assist them.
  13. Well if you look closely at how he releases a perp from custody, cuffs and all, and gives him back to the british crime man, You'll see some discrepancies. Also the way that every legally questionable thing the British crime man does seems to just go un-noticed. Little odd.
