I want to say that I appreciate the support that I got from those that that liked the original post.
While not every body is going to share my opinion, I feel that my thread was as much for those people that do not feel comfortable speaking up themselves on these issues or lack the right words to express how they feel the server needs to change. To those people, I encourage you to stick with this and be open-minded that things will improve over time and you can all find more enjoyment in the server.

I'd would like to offer an apology to the Sheriffs Department for any unintended insult that my words might have caused. Aside from a professional rivalry of wanting to be the best police faction, I have nothing but good vibes for SD. My words merely were to illustrate since the creation of the Sheriffs Department in mid-2019, we have expanded our government and civilian areas which as the population has eased off has left our current available pool of criminals looking rather shallow. I also feel that for my own faction, far too many PD officers are moonlighting in government because they are not quite getting what they want from the current PD experience, which is what I wanted to improve.

However, based on some of the negative feedback and criticism I received privately today for making this thread despite good intentions for doing so, there is nothing further I can now offer at this point to try and improve our situation. Creating threads like this only serve to incite others especially when the sort of things proposed don't happen and I don't wish to make a difficult job more difficult by trying to force a resolution.

I've made a commitment to my friends and people I respect on this server to give them that dope modded shit and I do keep my promises. Once those projects are submitted, I will be looking at whether I can still find enjoyment in this current set-up. It may be that our interests do not align anymore.

Thank you once again and if a staff member would be so kind as to archive this, I would appreciate it x

it’s not even worth wasting your time here anymore mate @Bala. It’s clear to see the direction the staff want to go in and that’s why the player base/server is dying. I personally don’t see anything changing that will bring in more players. The only thing that will happen is that more and more people will leave ECRP because of stubborn admin staff and slow development.

  2. A Big +1 on this post.

When you watch Twitch streamers on other servers, ECRP is massively lacking on the development side. That's obviously down to there only being 2 devs and quite frankly, 2 devs isn't enough to run a server of this size. I've played on the ECRP for a while now and the updates just aren't frequent enough. We had an "upcoming content teaser" for the drug update in SEPTEMBER last year which still hasn't happened nearly 12 months on. Don't get me wrong, the latest updates that have come in on the criminal side are great. They've added a much needed improvement on that side of the server but there could be so much more.

I don't for one second believe that funding is an issue on the server so it can only be the slow development due to the sheer size and task for only 2 people.

There's literally a ton of updates/inspiration that could be brought into ECRP from other servers and I know @Bala has suggested some great ones in the past that he's been unable to push through yet.

@NBDY @Osvaldon you're doing a great job but please increase the dev team!

  3. Meet The Aces

    Ronnie Moretti, Ace of Diamonds

Ronnie Moretti was born in England, UK and when you picture a person who's had a troubled childhood, tough upbringing and everything stacked against them from the moment they were born, picture Ronnie. His Father was in and out of Prison, his Mother was on street corners always looking for that next hit and Ronnie was left to fend for himself as well as looking after his younger brother Rico Moretti.

With his Parents for role models, it's no surprise Ronnie grew up doing all that he knew, committing petty crimes and growing/selling drugs. He started to steal from his Mother's supply and was selling on the local park and street corners from the age of 10. At first it was a way to survive and get food for himself and Rico but with this being all Ronnie knew, it continued as he became older. During their childhood Ronnie and Rico were both in and out of care due to the neglect by their Parents.

While in Foster Care, Ronnie being the eldest brother got a phone call from the Police. The look on Ronnie's face told the whole story, his Mother had died. She'd taken a hit too many and had taken an overdose. Being in Foster Care Ronnie and Rico had been sheltered from their Mother for a while due to the drugs and hadn't managed to see her before she passed away.

Ronnie was now 18, a legal adult in England with minimal education and zero life skills. After the many stints in Care and the Young Offenders Institute Ronnie was out and back on the streets. His Father was still in Prison and with his Mother passing away, he had nowhere to live! Homeless and having nowhere to turn Ronnie turned to what he knew best, growing and selling! Rico was still in care and Ronnie wasn't allowed to take him out without a stable job and a roof over his head.

While trying to come up with a plan to get Rico out of the Care System Ronnie got a video call from an old school friend. He'd moved over to Los Santos and was showing Ronnie how amazing the City was and that if he was to go over, he'd have a place to stay!

Ronnie knew it would be hard for him to get a job in England having zero education (on paper) and zero experience. He managed to grow and sell a fair bit of weed to grab enough funds together for him and Rico's plane tickets. Rico managed to sneak out of the care home he was in and was picked up by Ronnie in a stolen car! Ronnie raced to the Airport in the car and dumped it at the entrance. Ronnie managed to get him and Rico on the flight just before take off!

Ronnie and Rico arrived in Los Santos and met Ronnie's school friend at the bank!

  4. Although I don’t use words like this in person or on the server personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to try and stop people having the freedom to say what they want. It’s an RP server where the majority of us hold very high RP standards and try to treat the game as realistic as possible. Banning or punishing certain words or phrases isn’t keeping this as realistic as possible as you can’t ban words IRL. If someone says the N word to a black guy’s face IRL they’re probably getting punched or worse. If someone calls someone a f*****t, there are also IRL consequences.

freedom of speech is the key and that should never change. If the victim wants to respond/react IC then do it, report to police or retaliate however they feel.

    That’s the way forward IMO.

  5. Do PD rely solely on calls for this information or are they given a location via a script when a lab blows up? They always seem to instantly know where the labs are that have exploded.

considering the explosions can be heard across most of the map when it happens, it would be almost impossible for PD to instantly know the location unless they or civilians are actively nearby.

When we arrived, all of them were warm so we had to use water, here's his tables. unknown.png

Sorry to jump on this but when the tables blow up, how do PD know exactly where they are? For a regular civilian we’ve had occasions where we’ve heard an explosion in the city and over the radio someone else heard the same one up in Paleto! Do PD get some sort of notification showing them a rough location or do they get the exact location?

  7. Issue Being Reported: I would like my government account name to reflect my forum name please. While sitting at The Tuna Shop the guys came up with a good way to bring people into the area. The Aces loved the fact that LSIA was so close but they didn't want to do a full mile race. That is coming later down the road. This time they wanted to introduce another shorter ¼ mile track. They looked at a few locations before coming back to The Tuna Shop and realising they had a perfect road right in front of them. Just off Autopia Parkway is Exceptionalist Drive and that just sounded like the perfect street to hold a drag race. So the location was decided and now where would the cars park. BK and Maxwell had mixed opinions on where everyone should be parked so they took it to the club. After a quick vote they decided that the parking lot at the top would be better suited for the event. BK then grabbed a map of the area and began to plan things out. Sending out emails to both LSPD and LSC, one for barricades and one to LSC  in case of wrecks that tend to happen during events.

As the week went by BK had still not received an email back from LSC, and with LSC requiring a 7 day advance notice it started to make BK sweat it. Brody decided to send over a second email just forwarding the forms that LSPD had required. Although Brody had supplied the correct notice period for LSC to have a Mechanic at the event, The Aces were sadly let down. It was time for the race to begin and LSPD still wasn't there. Don and Asbo pulled into the event and luckily used a connection they had to get in touch with LSPD. Within a few minutes, LSPD were at the event and were being shown around the track by Brody.

The parking lot began to fill up and quite a few familiar faces started to show up including many faces from the LSMC, Burnout Nation, and even LSD came and showed their support for The Aces. With LSPD now aware of the track, they had set up the barricades and the event was ready to go!

The Aces also decided to hold a raffle during the event, this time it was BK’s personal Dominator ASP. To add to that Frank Reyes owner of 68 Mania threw in an additional $50,000 cash prize for 2nd place. The event continued for around an hour, Asbo from Burnout Nation has been a stand out at The Aces drag racing events. He has now gone 16-0 over the last two events and even claimed a small cash prize for doing so well. Once the racing was over everyone gathered in the parking lot for the raffle. The first name pulled was Eddie from Burnout Nation and he was the winner of the 50k prize from 68 Mania. Dexter gave the wheel another spin, this time it was for the Dominator ASP, the wheel slowed down and finally landed on Miss Ava from the LSMC. Brody wasn't too happy to be giving his baby away but he knew Miss Ava would take good care of it and that he would be seeing it around.

Please I am begging you remove the new meele damage I had 80% of my hp got injured in one punch that suck's and It feels like non rp when some inmates injure you with 2 punch and you attack him with a baton twice he doesn't get injured. Recently like died 5 times just on prison cause of the new meele damage whenever I try to take baton the inmate injures me in that time.

Yeah, there definitely needs to be some sort of change made to correct things like this. A guy at LSC today was shot in the head 3x and shot in the body too (not sure how many times) and he got up. If 2 punches can put someone down (which isn't too bad considering this happens IRL) then other weapons need an update too!

LSMC Opening Event  / House of Cards pt3

The hours on the ledged seemed to be dragging along when the guys saw an ad for an event being hosted by the LSMC. Ava was one of  the first faces that showed up to The Aces drag race event, so naturally Brody got on the radio and made plans for The Aces to be at the event. Not much later while everyone was hanging out on Amarillo Brody received a call from another good friend Charlie Rellet, Charlie asked if The Aces was planning on attending the event and if so if they wanted to cruise with the Diablos to the event. Brody happily accepted their invite but was also eager to show off what the club had been working on.

After showing off the new building they all lined up and went down the road to where the LSMC’s event was taking place. They arrived and found some quick parking outside, lined up one by one and prepared to be frisked.

A quick pat down later and everyone was free to enter. The club members hung out rocking to the music being put on by Johnnie Hill and enjoying a few beers they received from Matthew behind the bar.

After vibin with the music The Aces found the arcade room located beside the dance area and everyone began to have some more fun, they placed some quarters in the machines they began to play. Turns out Adrian is a bit better at air hockey then Brody had originally anticipated and also Miss Emilia is pretty dang strong when it comes to Axe Fury and Ronnie even had his way and set a high score on the basketball machine before everyone decided it was time for their big announcement.

The announcement was planned to take place at a new location the club has had interest in. Every few days the club likes to gather on top of the building and discuss future plans and make sure everyone is up to date with what's going on inside the club.

Today Brody had something a little different in mind. Rufnek has been super supportive with the club, attending the 2nd most events out of everyone. He had all his dues paid on time, and when Vaynes wasn't able to be in the city, Rufnek stepped up and made sure to pay for both. So needless to say he has shown his true colors to the club and it has been noticed. Today was the day his work paid off when Brody handed him a personal invite to be the King of Spades.

  11. HUGE +1. The only part I wouldn’t be too sure about would be the “Heat” aspect. Everything that happens in this city is due to a real players actions. This would take this away slightly. If a player is committing a lot of crimes and getting away with them,  they shouldn’t be punished for it by that person gaining heat when law enforcement wouldn’t know about it ICly.

Other than this, I’d love to see everything else implemented! It’d be unreal for ECRP 👌🏼
