I would also adore this. My faction has always wanted to make a skate/BMX park somewhere but all of the props for that must be admin spawned and aren't available in the furniture store.

    Couple ideas:

Increase in faction members from 40 to 45.

I like all of the ideas here except this one. I don't agree with raising the member cap, as increasing them will only give smaller and newer factions even more little room to grow.

+1 on all of the rest overall.
I know FS/FM is against the idea of giving a vehicle/vehicles for factions, but a faction specific vehicle would be really cool. Maybe not as a permanent thing, but maybe a /fspawn similar to how mechanic factions get? I'm not sure the difficulty of the implementation of it, but would love to see that happen.
(I don't think it would take development work since it's already available in game as well? But unsure)

  3. South Mo Milton Dr. 24 is the address, you can feel free to explore inside and send any trade offers to 423-2733. Here are some pictures of the inside, as it does have a lot of special items such as replica weapons, replica drugs, gold bars, and cash.

The Underground has always been against corruption... While the opinions we share of certain individuals may not always be the same, it is always unanimous when it comes to who is and is not within the guidelines of what The Underground believes to be underhanded or discreditable.

Upon the initial recreation of The Underground after being dormant for so long, they Frey family knew they would have to do something extreme to be recognized again... The group formulated a plan to begin working at Bayview. They knew they may get made fun of, maybe harassed a little, but they still had to do it. They knew Albert "Big Al" Lewis had a lot of connections... They had to ensure to the city that he wouldn't be able to work within the Judicial Branch with the things he had asked of people in the past.

They waited for the right moment to strike, waiting for months before finally getting the chance to do what they set off to do. Big Al approached them for a hefty job, offering over a million dollars in an asset that the Frey's wouldn't disclose to anyone... Al wanted them to kidnap and kill a pair of Bayview workers, and The Underground met up with that pair in private to discuss why, when, and what would happen.

    09A6yYu.png

The Underground informed them that they would be kidnapped according to the plan Al wanted the group to do. The pair went missing for a while, but Al was quickly investigated alongside The Underground. The only way to allow the situation be be resolved is to let the system fight itself from the inside, and that's what they did...

    QUdlIbh.png

During the kidnapping, the group staged several pictures of the couple pretending to be deceased; in case the man ever wanted them.
The investigation lead to a warrant being issued to check the man's phone records, incriminating himself with them...
The Underground was unaware of how much flak this would cause them later on by the Sheriff's Department, but the shrapnel from the bomb they had dropped would have to be taken as much as they could take it.

Months of planning... Waiting... All for one moment where a man hired a hit on two civilians. A member of the Judicial Branch.

The Underground now had proof that the city was corrupt from the inside, at it's very core.

((Thanks for everyone for the fun RP and adventures we all had at Bayview. You guys were amazing people while we worked there and we loved every minute of it, especially with Al/GodLyke. There's no OOC hate from our side, and all fun things have to come to an end sometime. We miss you guys at Bayview, and maybe we'll be back sometime!))

"We have shown this city time and time again that we're not going anywhere. These people think that they can pressure us at every turn, and now they think that they can tell us what to do?! At our own home?! Well, fuck that. Let's show them what we're made of. They want us to snap? They want us to break?
    Let's let them have it."

She said as she hit send on the video they all worked so hard to make... It would be a new endeavor for all of them, but The Underground were no strangers to police brutality.
They had to make a stand.

"We want to make a statement. All people of Los Santos deserve a chance to defend their life."

That's the statement The Underground agreed to during the protest... It was a small one, but only to test the waters to see what would happen.

    3nhAcKp.png
    tP9xKOb.png

It was simple. See if they would be moved, or see if they would be told that the San Andreas Government could do nothing for them... And that's exactly what was said. The protest would lead nowhere, as the ones controlling the restrictive gun-laws are the ones at LSPD.
    That answer wasn't good enough.

  7. So, Burgershot was without a doubt one of the best inclusions in the server but I feel like a slight change is needed to make it a good hang out again. There are a lot of reasons Burgershot declined being so popular, such as the constant fights, shootings, but I think the thing that hurt it the most was that not many people wanted to work there at all. Typically it was the same rotation of people I would see who eventually stopped working there due to moving on to better legal or illegal activities. My proposal is a store NPC that functions similar to standard shop NPCs that effectively stands there and allows you to buy food/drinks if no one is working there. The RP wouldn't be hurt and it would make the spot a hotspot again because people would frequently go there to buy food and water again.

    Thoughts?

I'd also really like to see the NPC be able to be robbed but that would probably be a massive pain to code if someone clocked in as you were robbing them

  8. +1 but also -1.

I believe /alias should stay, but the person’s alias only shows up at an extremely close range (a meter or so) and this would prevent the need for wearing a mask all the time. Most criminals will still wear them, but it would Make you have to walk near people for interaction and that’s what Roleplay is all about. Regarding seeing the actual ID number, we just need a command that changes our ID that can be used once every hour or two.

Close ranged /Alias and leaving the player ID above their head, and give players the ability to change the player ID above their head. That’s my suggestion

  9. +1

Dressing in someone else's gang colors to win a shootout should definitely be NRP, even with an extremely well put together team; there's an extremely high probability you would hit your ally at some point. You're still in the opposing groups colors, and at the end of the day; this is the color you are aiming to shoot. They might have some possible identifier, like certain pants or a mask, but that single color is the primary target.
Not only does it display very poor quality judgement and roleplay, I feel like it promotes PvP mentality way too much. If detectives were doing this to us in shootouts at labs while PD rolls in, or try to sneak someone in during a bank robbery in your own colors, would you still be -1-ing? I find it hard to believe that people would.

I'm for certain rules, and I'm against certain rules, but this is definitely one that should be added in the near future. From my understanding this has only become a problem in the past six months or so, and it's pretty awful to see the community tearing down this thread from a suggestion to "You're only posting this cuz u lost lul". It allows for better RP, better action RP, less play-to-win mentality, and it should be a rule allowed in.

I find it strange that I've seen groups tax newer groups and hit newer groups for wearing these colors, but then not even represent their own faction in a shootout.

The Underground knew it was time to move from their bridge. The spot was too used by enemy organizations attempting to bait police to get onto the Underground instead of them by driving through it, namely by members of the Shenzhen Dragons. Although they had long since disbanded, The Underground still did not want to deal with the unwanted noise of pedaling people attempting to do the same.

They packed a few vehicles with the couches and scrap metal barrels from the old under-bridge and sighed with a smile as the bitter-sweet memories hit them all. It was going to be a journey to get back to the point they had... But it would be worth it.

Although Melody was leading now and had a very deep hatred for some of the people within the organization they decided to meet with first, she and the rest of The Underground put their feelings to the side for a little while. The meeting was about what they expected from Irish, being told that "Neutrality is earned" and that they would be hit if Irish ever saw a chance to make money. The Underground was heavily against the Corpo-Capitalist mentality that they had, but for now they decided to not care.

    XmUJQgV.jpg
    JrNKiCN.png

    Not long after that meeting, the motel was finally theirs. They had hauled the couches onto the roof, along with a new one downstairs. They were happy with their new home. Their friends from OTF came for a visit and played the new Irish diss track for them before it was release on Weazel. They all cackled at the track, enjoying it. Their new home was decorated in pink lights and neons, and although it was run down;
    they decided to call it
    "The Moxie Motel"

The Underground knew it was time for a bit of action. They had done a lot of casual crime... Robbing banks, kidnappings, murder, occasionally human trafficking... but they wanted some fun this time. The group went to the store, snagging some spray-paint cans in both black and pink colors. They bolted from the store, laughing a bit as they grouped up near Mission Row.

    Cr8qUcE.png

They snuck up the bridge, jumping down into the parking lot and bolted towards the garage as they saw a few officers leave.

    aFUUzwc.png

The group of hoodlums sprayed down multiple cars, walls, and even went upstairs to the lobby and tagged the wall in there. The group saw a detective eyeing them from the distance...
They took off as quickly as they could, unsure of what would happen next.

    lqyuFKf.png
    Ew6tehS.png

The escape was perfect. Everyone was ordered to change their clothes as quick as possible and then meet at their headquarters, and to be sure no clothes they were wearing were with them.

In a matter of minutes, detectives swarmed and detained the crew... But were forced to let them go as they had no evidence that it was the current group in front of them. The detectives grabbed the license plates of each vehicles there, however, and took pictures of the group and all properties nearby.

The Underground had been gone for too long... Long enough for corrupt police to once again roam the streets with as much malice as they wanted. Melody, who had finally come back, saw this... She sighed and began to call her family.

But some months before that, they had done one last act...

Before their disband, Melody had gone missing and passed The Underground to Naomi. During that time, the fights between Rising Suns and the Underground had come to a head. Melody finally arrived back at the airport... She stretched her legs and heard the news about Naomi and multiple others being pulled on with heavy weapons on the side of the highway.
"If they want to make this shit public, then we will make it public."

    cnKyg1T.png

Melody gave the order for the group to change into blue for a surprise attack, even breaking her phone to go as far as to end this fight. They hunted down the two she knew were leading the organization at the time, and killed one of them.

The organization decided they had done their jobs in the city, and it was time to move on... But they were wrong.

The Underground's time was now, and it was time to return with fury. They all agreed that it was not just the police they would be going after, but even the upper-echelon capitalists that run the city.

    "This time, we stay."

  13. Recently I made a discussions topic on a lot of the 1 of 1 vehicles in the server and a lot of the currently missing vehicles, namely things such as the vagrant, golf cart, tractor, and Willy. I would really love to see more of the vehicles that are not currently present on the server either come to dealerships, or a new system be implemented that allows us to request these vehicles via the forums, gov website, or dealership owners and a price be given to us for us to pay for it. Obviously a lot of the vehicles from GTA could never come to ECRP (Oppressor, Arena vehicles, etc.) but I would adore being able to buy a lawnmower and driving drunk on it for an alt. Characters could be made specifically for certain vehicles and the RP opportunities would be fantastic just for adding some of the smaller vehicles we don't have.

A lot of ideas came up in that discussions topic, but everyone seemed fairly supportive of the idea so I wanted to make it a suggestion. 🙂  What are your thoughts?

  14. So my main issues here are desync, FRP, and the advantages it would bring to bigger groups.

Desync is really annoying in it's current state and half of the time it's impossible to tell if someone is meaning to shoot you or flip you off, because they don't know which they're doing either. That needs to be fixed ASAP in my opinion before we can move forward.

FRP would need major adjustments, as demands aren't valid if given from a vehicle regardless currently and it could seriously hinder RP changing that, as right now I do find a pretty big distaste for PvP RP as a whole and always have; and being snagged under FRP with zero ability to react would really kill my mood. If I see someone's door open or they get off their bike, I typically leave and radio that in if i'm in a high crime or secluded area. Being put under FRP from a driver would totally cause a rampage to the server, especially in those high crime areas like labs.

Personally I know first hand that shooting from your vehicle is difficult, and the faster speed you go; the more dangerous it gets. Instead of limiting the speed, I would rather it force you into a first person perspective IF this change got implimented.

Bigger groups would just roll around in armored vehicles and shout demands from Patriot Mil-Specs, Buffalo STX's, and then if anyone attempted to fight back, they would drive away and swarm the group inside. Lots of issues, but if things were implemented correctly and still allowed for a response to be had; I wouldn't be against the idea entirely. I believe at one point this was able to be done on ECRP and was removed, but I'm not 100% on that and am curious as to why it was removed, if it was.

  15. I can't imagine that lawnmowers, golf carts, Willy's or a few other vehicles would cause major issues. As for the topic being moved to suggestions, if it gets moved then I'm totally fine with that; it was more of a topic I wanted to see discussed in depth first. I know many special vehicles were available via the forums, but the Banshee Super variant was never posted to the forums and there are others that were not as well. I'm more curious as to how they came into existence of if all of these were from altRP events, as Faction Services no longer allows factions to get vehicles as rewards for altRP events anymore. I don't believe that these were commonplace at any point or available at normal dealerships. I just want transparency on that answer, as it seems to be sort of unknown except to people who were staff at that time I would imagine. The Armored Kuruma was more of an example as to what is and isn't available for general use, and that's definitely a vehicle I would not want anyone to have access to.

I just don't see where the issue could possibly be giving people more fun-loving and RP friendly vehicles to buy at dealerships.

  16. So, it's no secret that there currently is a fair amount of vehicles from GTA missing on the server. Obviously some of these should never be implemented onto ECRP (Oppressor MkII and stuff) and I feel like a big step forward would be adding more of the remaining list of currently missing vehicles. Lawnmowers are currently able to be spawned in at DOC and by SAGOV (please correct me if i'm wrong there, as it may have been a one-off circumstance), I've seen golf carts spawned in by admins for events before, and small vehicles like these would add a lot to RP in my opinion. This opens up all sorts of paths just by adding these smaller things to dealerships, and of course there are other missing vehicles such as tractors (not the bulldozer), vagrants, and even the Willy that are missing from Eclipse. I was wondering why we don't have these vehicles accessible and I don't believe the answer is coding, as we quite literally have gotten game updates with vehicles in them for GTA and had those same vehicles almost right away.

This brings me over to the topic of "1 of 1" vehicles and such, but there is a LOT more supers and "1 of 1" vehicles that have ever been auctioned or raffled. I understand that some may have been acquired via events that were not related to the forums, but how did these events even happen? Were they all altRP or is there any process of requesting said vehicles rather they be small in price such as a lawnmower or massive such as the Banshee800R? I cannot get a very straight answer on this in /report 1's and was curious as to if anyone knew how these things came into existence, because I have even seen an Armored Kuruma at the GOV building before and I know that no one else has access to purchase them.

Can we pretty please get the ability to request vehicles that aren't in ECRP, or pay astronomical amounts of money ICly to get them?
What are your thoughts on a program like this?

(If this belongs in suggestions, I do apologize.)

  17. Something I have talked about a few times that would help is that the chop system now DOES in fact bring criminals together for more group activities, but I think that the old chop shops should still operate as they did before but with a ten minute timer. Smaller groups or even solos could chop this way and get less cash along with being able to have a bit of potential RP, and bigger groups can still chop cars with toolboxes and get major amounts of income from them.

Import prices should be half of what they are now, there's no discussion to even be had there. A major issue we all have is that it's a ton of money to even start as a criminal right now and guns are no exception to that.
DOC needs fixes to make being busted be fun, but that's a totally different thread.
Old school drug labs sound fun and open up the idea of labs being used for more conflict, but I wasn't around for that so I don't know how fun or unfun those were.
I don't want apartment labs back because I don't really want to sit in my apartment for hours to make money again, and I don't want others to have to do it as well. I'd rather we just get better ways to make money as criminals and drugs should just sell for double what they do now.

  18. A huge issue I see is that bigger groups will stomp out newer groups that try to set up anything right now. There are multiple 30+ man groups that will do anything and beg for gunfights constantly, and that's my biggest complaint. I've seen a lot of problems arise from crim RP because of the amount of "power" certain groups and people have.

I've seen groups attempt to bait HQ raids and DM rights by "taxing" other groups for simply not setting up a meeting within their first little bit of time on the server.
I've seen groups send in one or two people to an enemy HQ in hopes that the rival group will pull on them after 30+ minutes of harassment so they can swarm and kill everyone for free guns, and during that situation I was told in a /report 3 that it was an IC issue and that unless we showed them it was a hostile environment by doing that; it was not against the rules.
I've even seen groups be told they cannot post "clap tapes" and were told to take all of them down by their handlers, but right after they disbanded; Los Santos Royals were given the go-ahead to post as many as they want.

Crim RP has a lot of IC and OOC issues, ranging from the prices of weaponry, illegal items, and the power between newer groups versus both older and more populated groups.
I think the biggest problem we have is that it's very apparent that the smaller groups get destroyed and squashed before they even have a chance at official status, and the ones that do make it to official are shadows of their former selves and are forced into cookie cutter mold of what the expectations of faction management declares to be worthy unless they were a previously established official group and/or a reformation of a previously established official group.

TLDR - You cannot get far as a criminal without a "big brother organization" or by joining a bigger one, or have been a criminal from a major org you made money from so much easier back in the day with.
You will be baited to fight at every turn, you will be told it's an IC problem, you will fight, you will die, and your morale will go down.

Not fun unless you're stacked with homies.

  19. So, the topic says it all and I do know it's a fairly sensitive topic; but I do really believe it needs to be talked about. The 'N-word with a loose a' is a term that has very widely always been used in African American culture and even Spanish American culture to some degree. Obviously when you create a rule such as the newer ethnic slurs/LGBTQ+ slurs rule, it has to be held up to a high standard, but I do think that this should be allowed as its a word often used both in and outside of music to a major extent, it's used consistently in these cultures, and it's not a word I can see as offensive personally. I think if it makes someone uncomfortable, which are very few and far between amounts of people; they could ask in /b for people to stop and they could. Currently we allow use of the word "retard" on a very consistent basis and it falls into that very category.

I just think that it lets gangs open their vocabulary more and that people who do say that OOC frequently that slip up occasionally and say it over VOIP shouldn't be punished for it when in reality it's not a word I've ever seen complained about.

    Thoughts?

  20. I agree a lot with what DoubleA said, but I want to add some suggestions of my own. Cruisers should be player owned instead of player spawned in my opinion, but I don’t know how this would work due to coding. If someone quits PD, scriptly making a script that has the capability of taking that car away from them would be a huge pain I’d imagine. I think the New Car Rule for PD/SD would be a great idea, and would also encourage people to stack in cruisers in situations where a wreck happens more. Huge +1 to that idea.

I once again would say that my suggestion to fix the issue is to leave police in the state they are IF we are able to get their equipment upon killing them, but staff believes this would cause a hunt for officers and cause bigger problems for the server. I think rules could be implemented to stop that, but I digress.

Staff has said a few times now that the next major update is on DOC, so I think in the mean time; times should be reduced to two hours maximum and three hours if you cannot pay fines. It’s so hard to be in prison that I simply will log out now and serve my sentence on another day while I watch movies, as I typically play on low pop hours where no one else (including guards) is on. It’s an AFK simulator that gives me time to catch up on my favorite shows or play other games; and that’s something no game should ever strive to be.

I don’t mind the police having high value cruisers, shinobis, and even the helicopter; but I really would like the NCR DoubleA mentioned to be put in place.

My last suggestion will be controversial at best, but if we cannot get access to police inventory weapons, allow Carbines to be a standardized cartel item available for import at tier 2 for 50k import and the same ammo price as AKs, or give newly official orgs the opportunity to import them instead of AKs. I know they can be imported in “special import” circumstances, but I think they should be commonplace as the standard AR style platform is much more popular in the US than the AK platform currently.

Criminals have to exist in the server for police to exist in the server. Criminals can exist in the server without police, however. I want cops to feel welcome and to have power, I just want equal footing to make our RP just as enjoyable without being thrown in a box that is used for admin punishments as well for 5-8 hours. Either give us a fighting chance, or let us have freedom in a much smaller amount of time in DOC so we can get back to having fun until the next update for DOC.
