The Underground had finally decided a plan.

The group initially decided to raid Mission Row as
LSPD did to The Underground's headquarters... But why stop there? Why not, instead; have that very moment be the magnum opus of The Underground's war? The plan was blunt, precise, and required discipline... Something that they knew they had compared to many other gangs that had come and gone. But that had to wait...

They knew what had to be done. Extraction.
It was time to attack soon, but not with their usual unrivaled antics of chaos and tomfoolery. It was time to hit the city where it hurts. The group reached out to multiple people, considering their ideas and formulating their own plan. The raid on Mission Row may not happen anytime soon, but it was closing time for some of the other chores to be done.

Melody began to prepare the cage she would lock the animals in...

    No food. No water.
Nothing but cold bars and the sound of silence to keep whoever they kidnapped company.
It was almost time. It was almost here. The cell being made had a small entrance for a few of Melody's pets to wander in and out of... She smiled at the monstrosity she was creating.

The Underground was fond of dicing up vehicles to help improve their own vehicles.
For them, it was simply common practice to exchange the parts due to their history as mechanics and self-sufficient reliability.

But today, they would change that. They stripped every vehicle they could find in the city for parts down to the very scrap metal, selling it all off to their contacts so they could invest into a property they had been eyeing for quite some time. The leadership of The Underground had decided to push for a business underneath a legal name...

    "The last peaceful front."

  3. +1, but I'm gonna offer some criticism as well. I very obviously believe that this is somewhat of a leaking IC issue into OOC because it's very frustrating, and I've even had small playful fistfights with other inmates and had a guard flat out tell me "Enjoy this cell for the next three years. I'm clocking off." and quite literally just... had to endure that. DOC can be a very fun environment given the right circumstances and with the changes given to be able to make money, but I do feel like lockdown could use some more scripted help.

Plz don't throw me in solitary :c

The Underground had seen Maze Bank's vault filled to the brim with cash and gold during a music video of King Quan Bathsheba's. Letting the other's go forward and have fun with the video, a sole agent of The Underground stayed behind and began scoping the place out, taking photos of the vault and potential entrances.

The bank heist would be the biggest one in all of Los Santos if it could be pulled off appropriately... It could be such a hit that it could cripple the San Andreas Government. Everyone was in agreement to move forwards and begin reaching out to other organizations soon. They still needed to map down the entire bank... But this was it.

They would begin utilizing their new techniques over the course of the next week to map the building and any variables in place that could disrupt the flow of the heist.
It was time to start prepping.

"The Mischief..." Melody uttered to herself.

The Underground had been training their rats for ages, all the way back to when they wore their rat masks as a cult... They had a chance to begin a new form of smuggling within the city.

    The sewers.

While they were closed off to a majority of the public, The Underground knew the ins and outs of the underground network beneath Los Santos. It was time for them to start something from scratch the city had never seen before... Utilizing rats to smuggle small quantities of drugs and illegal items throughout the city.
With their alliances growing ever-stronger, there was virtually no limit to what they could push underneath the city while going entirely unnoticed. The Underground had achieved a perfect network...

For The Underground, intolerance isn't tolerable.

They heard stories of a man running around, ripping down local pride flags, making racist remarks; and just overall being an insufferable person. It was the one time they agreed with SAGOV on something... But they wouldn't handle it the same way. A judge by the name of
[Redacted] confirmed the person was in fact the same person who had come to The Underground's compound and continuously kick cars and troll.

    The hunt was on.

Melody logged into her alternate government account under her alias Balck Art...
She attached the file with a small text rat as the message title.
The Underground were still the watch dogs of the city...
    "Respect Existence or Expect Resistance."

+1 to the thread, +1 to Bala being a gigachad as usual.

    Hell no

    Agreed.

The problem with apartment labs is it was absolute minimal RP. There's just nothing really involved other than "Got any lysergic?" "yeah" and that's the sum of the conversation and interactions. The criminal 'endgame' was solely based around getting a lab up and running to effectively generate infinite income and camp indoors so you can buy new toys. The whole point of an RP server is to interact and have fun, and with apartment labs being taken away and the updates pushing people outside of properties with the water bottle nerf; people are actually getting out and doing things other than cooking. Granted, a lot of criminals have taken to going to labs pretty religiously but it at least gives something with other people. It increases PvP interactions, hostile interactions, but can provide some fairly welcome interactions too such as conversations about how other factions are doing and why people are cooking in public labs to begin with.

Overall it's increased the amount of interactions criminals receive and forces them to stop grinding entirely solo. You still have the chance to cook without water bottles, you just have to open up yourself to interactions now.

    RP > Assets.

The Underground was fighting at every turn, fighting fire with fire. The LSPD had gotten much more bold in it's attempts to fight The Underground, and catching them unaware was the primary tactic. Day-in and day-out The Underground searched for setup spots to bring the fight to the LSPD whenever they stuck their noses where it didn't belong.

"You only take fights when there's a two or three officers on shift."

The words echoed in Melody's mind as she gave the go-ahead to pull into the parking lot across from Vinewood precinct... The chase had lasted around ten minutes. They had all available officers on shift on this pursuit and both sides knew it.

The fight was quick, methodical, and no one from The Underground was caught. Bodycam footage from the scene was quickly taken, and the SWAT pager was rang for backup...
    "Kill them and leave."

it just doesn't make sense why there's so much focus on an LGBTQIA+ event, but there's no focus on BHM, Memorial Day, Womens History Month, or any other significant months/days.

+1 to another pride event and +1 to other events too. I think my stance is pretty well known by now for everything. There's zero reason to not have a pride event and zero reason to not have the others. 🙂

The Underground were still regularly dealing with their Royal problem. The truth was what they had always said in the past...

"If you're not with us, you're with PD. Back the blue, or back the pink."

Some groups couldn't look above the gang beef or see the bigger picture... Namely the
Royals. The Underground had secured all around neutrality from the rest of the entire city. The ceilings of Los Santos couldn't hold down The Underground, no matter how damn oppressive it might be, or even if their opposition continued to behave recklessly. Everyone knew what Royals were doing. They were here to fight and attempt to steal assets from those working to improve Los Santos. It seemed to The Underground that the color blue was simply cursed to be opposition for whatever reason it might be... But the truth was that The Underground had access to two things that Royals didn't have access to...
    Ideologies, and imports.

    "Fight it."

The words were mumbled over radio, then yelled. Surprisingly this wasn't about either blue gang this time... It was about issues stemming from the Underground's time in prison. They were no strangers to behavior like the Bingley's were doing, just sitting at their HQ and calling police and attempting to even bring stolen cars there to try to get the Underground raided... So they grabbed their kits. Practice for the future...

    "Fight it."

  12. Only problem I have is that helicopters in general are a little sketchy just due to render distance and there's no proper way to fight Marksman Rifles due to bullets disappearing before they can reach their targets and that isn't really an issue with that rifle. I don't really mind the gun being used in helicopters though just because if they can land the shot, just let them take it. I don't like seeing things get nerfed, I'd rather other weapons just not have bullets phase out at a certain distance so we can compete with it a bit better, but I think that's more of a Rage/GTA issue than an Eclipse issue. I don't mind PD having access to the MR as it's kind of a check-and-balance tool that really isn't abused. I could go on about the typical "PD too OP" argument in regards to things that should be changed, but I don't think the MR is one of them.

The Underground were never shy from politics even though they despised it all.
     "
    Royals want a meeting."

Melody sighed heavily, she knew exactly what was coming. The group wanted a meeting somewhere more "private" than Underground's compound, arguably the only safe place to conduct business at. The Underground declined and insisted it be there.
The Royals showed up with many members swarming the area and only three walking into the courtyard of their compound. The impromptu meeting was to begin...

As time went on and negotiations continued,
Royals demanded that The Underground leave behind their business with Only The Family and in return; total neutrality would be had. The consideration was there... The group needed a chance to talk things over and to reach out to other command members. They weren't sure of how to proceed, as Royals might be blue; but they weren't the biggest or strongest blue gang in Los Santos.

That title would always go to the
LSPD, whom of which The Underground had recently seen a known Royal by the name of Justin Redcliff working with...

    Knowing that a
Royal who had called the police was still alive made the decision very difficult for them. They had taken up the responsibility of killing an unseasoned Underground member for the same thing, but would allow one of their own to go free? The trust was very unstable. The Underground brought up the several members of Royals that were doing business with The Underground, but they were deemed as "personal deals" and shouldn't effect the current meeting. The irony of that was not lost on them as they rarely did business with Only The Family, but they knew it would be deemed "gang deals" if a single member was to do business with them afterwards.

They put things into perspective. The New Age Council formed at The Summit of which Seijin assisted in forming had forced an agreement to lock out all sales from Shadow Ops Syndicate, and moving from there; all groups would become neutral and move forwards. Compromising drops, taxing for neutrality, all of that was supposedly a thing of the past... Until quite literally less than a week later when Royals already wanted to step on the toes of The Underground.

There was consideration for everything... Until
Easton Xai demanded a $20,000 tax weekly if sales continued to be done with Only The Family. The meeting was ended at that point for The Underground. An Anarchist group paying taxes? They all sighed and chuckled.

    It was
their allies, or a group who called police on a single person chopping cars for fun.

Melody mumbled to herself and her peers as the compound was clear...

    "We stop sales to
SOS when Royals run rampant? Holy fuck, the amount of irony in all of this is crazy."

The Underground always had a very clear vision when it came to sending messages...

The Cartel warned them to not commit atrocities without their permission, but there were no rules in place about planning it still. Melody remembered the IED they had all helped build... Hours upon hours of work, she just couldn't let it all go to waste. As if it were meant to be, the Bathshebas gave The Underground a call and invited them on a tour of the very building they wanted to bomb. The San Andreas Government had sanctioned a small tour of the basement and the ground floor...

All Melody could envision was placing that bomb in that basement and watching the foundation of the building crumble.

The Underground was always fond of fighting the LSPD. March 25th was a symbol of the fight... The Cartel told The Underground to stand down against the government.

"Any terrorist activities go through us first."

The thought process was frustrating for them all, to say the least. The spent days working on the pipe bomb IED they had crafted... But they had a backup plan. The Underground wouldn't actively "hunt" cops, but they would fight back. As of March 25th, the rumors of the fights The Underground took to the LSPD grew heavier and heavier, and they were hearing about their own deeds from groups they were close with such as OTF.

The Underground's ideology has always been one-way. The groups against them were doing nothing more than helping the police in the short-term.

"Leave the gang beef underneath us, we're above it" was a quote they would use a lot in their meetings. They met with Mandem, Vory, Lost, an unnamed Hispanic group in their own turf... and unfortunately met with the Rooks as well. Before each meeting, Melody explained to those coming the same principles that they had.

Meeting after meeting, day after day; The Underground grew stronger. It didn't matter how much Rooks wanted the fights. It didn't matter how often Royals took off their own colors to avoid gang suppression. The Underground is permanent. The fight won't ever end.

"If you're against us, you're with PD."

  16. I made a very similar suggestion for house robberies and robbing gun stores to give pistols a while back and was met with a lot of -1s. My suggestion is for things like this, allow people to get all forms of pistol except .50s. New groups and smaller groups could still be self-sustaining and Official groups that are Tier2+ still get the benefits of being able to sell highly sought after weaponry.

+1 if it's implemented without heavy weapons or .50s imo.

The Underground had once again climbed the ranks of being noticed. A grey SUV pulled up to their compound they had recently renovated... She peaked through the windows, noticing the floral pattern shirts and tech nines. She knew who it was, and they were the next step they had to take. Siding with the cartel... Was it really the lesser of two evils? Melody couldn't think about it.
    "Get in."
And that's what she did. They pointed the weapons at her, demanding her phone be turned off and her radio be taken. She adjusted her glasses, doing as they asked. She'd done too many kidnappings to not know what was happening. If they wanted her dead, they'd have unloaded already. It was the meeting The Underground had been expecting for so long.

They stopped at the docks of southern Los Santos...

    iX7q0qN.png

They all stepped out with her following. They began talking about how the leader of the Russians was missing for being "reckless" and how reckless The Underground was, how they didn't like it at all. Melody responded quickly... "You need someone reckless, just not someone who will ever let things come back to you. You don't have anyone not afraid to go down for murder, for fighting, for doing what's right. We're here to stop everything that's wrong with Los Santos, and we're here for good."

The Cartel went on about how they don't trust The Underground... and rightfully so.

They were reckless, they are reckless.

They told The Underground that they will be allowed to bring in imports finally. The Underground planned to take the place of the old Ballas that GW used to run and they would deal with everyone as a neutral dealer, newer and older groups alike.

The Underground discussed how to move forward with their newly found power...

Rebellion. Anarchy. Truth... and guns. Lots of guns.

Yeah, overall I absolutely adore the update. Sadly we're moving due to lore/OOC issues as well as IC issues, but I do genuinely love the update 🙂

  19. +1. I wouldn't be opposed to this at all tbh. If you tied this in with Bala's new design for the map changes, we could have new stores instead of editing the already existing ones as well. Stores have always been seen by myself and my friends as more of a source of fun over a source of income except when we first started, and giving them some extra spice would be super fun. Obviously there would have to be some changes around the script though, such as making the tellers not automatically ping police when the money runs out if they have a gun still pointed at them since there would be two separate registers to rob. I don't think I'd want to see this added in the current selection of stores, but I would adore seeing this paired with Bala's new map stuff.

  20. VAx0nHh.png

The Underground weren't comfortable with the state of Los Santos, and the truth is; they never had been. A power hungry cartel who ran the criminals with money and promises of weaponry, corrupt government officials who would purchase vehicles worth millions of dollars for seemingly no reason with our own tax money... And the worst of it all; the criminals cowering before the cartel were all at each others throats. Los Santos never was going to get peace. Los Santos was as lost to time as the groups that had come and go in it.

    The facts remained the same.
The Underground would always be here as a resistance against the San Andreas Government.
The Underground would always be against the corrupt government officials.
The Underground would always be plotting to deal with the cartel, even if they worked for them at some point.

They grew tired of waiting for the government to change. Even placing illegal firearms inside of Phillipe Sanchez's own home and calling him out about it did nothing.
The criminals and organizations out within the city and beyond it weren't willing to band together to fight the common enemy because they were too narrow minded and only cared for the assets they could get from killing each other.
The cartel would continue to get richer as the poor continued to stay poor.

But The Underground will always continue our fight.
