BIOGRAPHY

Ace Butoslav was born on a sunny day in early October 1998. He was born in a small Balkan country between the sharp mountains and vast meadows, Serbia. Unfortunately at the time of his birth his country was in a terrible place. The War was raging and bombs were falling on a daily basis. It was really dangerous for a lonely, self-sustaining mother with her son. His father was a military serviceman. He was far away from home in Bosnia fighting because of that Yugoslavian mess. Ace and his mother lived alone, very hard with a low wage salary. She was always trying her best to satisfy all Ace's needs and buy enough food to feed him every day. Luckily for her, Ace was never a needy child. And even as young as he was he understood his mother's flour and that he couldn't get everything other kids would. It was infamous 1999 when the big inflation arrived and Serbia's economy collapsed. That inflation hit Ace's family soo bad that they could barely even eat every day. Sometimes they had to go for a week without eating any meat. The only good thing was that government charity services were doing their job and tried to best to feed the families that didn't have enough to withstand on their own. Years passed and it was getting better for them. Country survived through the inflation and things began to be more stable.

The year was 2001 and The Yugoslav War was finally over. A letter arrived to their house saying that Vladimir, Ace's father is finally returning home. Ace was almost 4 years old and he didn't meet his father yet. After hearing all the stories about him he couldn't wait to actually at last meet him. In the late cold night of 7th January 2002, on Orthodox Christmas a door bell rang. It was Vladimir outside. For everyone in the house that moment felt like a Christmas miracle. The sound of silence that was going throughout the house was almost spiritual. Ace ran towards him and greeted him with a big hug. That night was is the best memory Ace barely remembers from his childhood. He talked with his father whole night. He told Ace all about the frightening and funny stories that happened in the course of war. It didn't take long for his dad to become his favorite person in the whole world. When Vladimir wasn't on military duty they would hang out and have a great time together. These were one of the best years of his life. With his dad's salary on the table Ace finally had everything an average kid would do. They were able to live unbothered in peace without constant fear of running out of money or food. The whole family was happy. Ace was 5 years old when he greeted his little brother onto the world. Family organized a big feast for all relatives in honor of the birth of the youngest member. Everything was going perfect. Unfortunately that night Vladimir relaxed a little bit too much. He got very drunk with Ace's uncle. During their weird antics Vladimir fell from the roof and injured his ankle. He couldn't serve in the military anymore and reassigned to be a police officer in local department since it was a little less toilsome job than The Army.

Ace would always be eager to meet him on the work and see how is it to be a police officer. That was when inside him a desire was born to become a police officer just like his father. He wanted to serve the People just like his father did for years. That was his dream and his ultimate goal. He learned a lot about what makes a good police officer from watching and listening to his father. With his military veteran experience, Vlad was one of the best, bravest and most honorable officers to ever carry the badge. Vlad was the perfect person Ace should look up to and he was happy that his son wanted to continue the job he is doing. Years passed and Ace slowly went through the school. He met a lot of friends and good people that will be very important for him in the near future. As he was passing through the high school, Ace started to realize that his country wasn't big enough for him to stay in. Economy was under development, but still after everything that happened in the '90s it was a fairly poor country at that time. Ace decided that it is the best for him if he would attend to a collage abroad. The only problem is that he didn't know where he will get money from. Tuition was expensive. Even more for someone who is coming from not the most favorable conditions. Ace was about to turn 18 and it was his final year in high school. He did his best to get the most admirable grades possible in order to enroll to any collage of his liking. He spent most of his time studying very hard.

EDUCATION

Ace managed to finish high school with all A's. His parents were very proud of him and he finally felt proud of himself for achieving something honorable. It was October 7th 2016 when he finally turned 18 years old. His parents organized a big party and invited all friends and relatives to get drunk and have fun like it is a practice for 18th birthdays in Serbia. It was a very fun night for him. Later on when everyone left and the party was over. Vladimir sat down on a couch in the living room to tell Ace something very important. "Look son, me and your mother were saving money for many years in order to pay for your collage tuition. I want you to take this and spend it wisely. You will need all the money you got in the world", he said as he was giving him an envelope full of cash. That was enough money to pay for any collage Ace would wish to go to. He was incredibly happy. Ace hugged his father and thanked him and his mother for everything they did for him. It was time to move on and focus on his studies. Ace enrolled into London South Bank University of Criminology. He found a fairly cheap apartment in the suburb area of London. He was very careful how he spends his money since he needed the most of it for collage tuition. Even after so many years he was still ready to pursue his dreams and become a law enforcement officer, just like his now retired father used to be. He wanted to make his parents proud. Due to the internet expansion in 2010s, his English was good enough as he could understand everything they say in his classes. Ace found a job in the local printing office in order to pay for his bills. He worked really hard everyday. He didn't even go out as much as other students because he really wanted to get the best grades. Otherwise he would feel like his parents wasted money on him and he surely didn't want that. His years in the Great Britain passed well. He met a lot of nice people from all over the world and finished his studies with the most prestigious grades. He received his Bachelor's degree and was one step closer to his ultimate goal.

A NEW HOME

It didn't take too much time for Ace to realize that United Kingdom is not really a place he wanted to stay in. The weather and the country itself wasn't really what he was looking for. He wanted to move to the United States of America. He heard a lot of things about that place, but still didn't know what to expect. He immediately booked a flight for a city named Los Santos in the state of San Andreas. It was a long and exhausting flight that lasted for over 10 hours. But when they arrived it was soo exciting and refreshing for Ace. He was stunned by the look from Los Santos International Airport. Los Santos was like a city from the dreams. All those skyscrapers were something Ace has never seen before. The weather was warm which was very important to Ace since he was planning to live here. He called a cab and went on a drive around the city to get more familiar with it. He spent a lot of money on rides since he really wanted to see the city from the front view before he does anything else. The good thing was that Downtown Cab Company employees were always very nice towards him and kept him a nice company during his early days in the city. It took him sometime to get used to the American accent since it was much different compared to his British/Slavic one. The bad thing about Los Santos is how expensive it was. Ace needed to find a good job in order to stay here. He applied for Union Depository's Money Transported position. That seemed like a fine started job just enough for an individual to live on for the time being. A good thing was that they only required a valid Driver's Licenses which Ace obtained earlier at the DMV. A first few month were going good. Ace received enough money to buy his first, starter's car which was a Warrener. He would love to drive on the streets of Los Santos without any worries in his mind. Ace's stubbornness and ego started to show to Union Depository management team. He was really mad that they refused to give him a promotion even though he kept asking and asking and working hard. He left the company and was forced to do something else. Ace heard that the reputation of Los Santos Police Department was very good. He finally knew what he wants to do in Los Santos. He wanted to continue his dream path and enroll into Police Forces like he always wished to do. Unfortunately Ace found that he needed a little bit more knowledge and experience in the Los Santos before he will be able to apply for Police Department. Ace used to spend his days fishing on the Del Perro Pier and talking to random people he meets. He already met a handful of friends that would show him around and teaching him about how things work in the city. Months passed and Ace was finally comfortable enough to write down the best application he could. He submitted his application and hoped for the best.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

He couldn't sleep that night. He was eagerly waiting for any response to his application. He was soo excited and nervous about it. This was his dream all along since he was six years old. He wouldn't forgive himself if he managed to mess up this chance. However besides all the nervousness he was fairly confident about his application. He had a lot of high quality education and he took his time to write the best one possible. He tried to be as patient as possible, but he wasn't able to. It meant to much for him. A few days later a response arrived. A smile started appearing on his face as he was reading "We gladly inform you that your application was accepted". Ace was soo happy about it. He didn't waste a moment to call his friends and invite them for a celebration drink at his house. This meant soo much for him and he was soo excited about it. But it was just a first step on his journey. He still needed to complete his interview in person. Which was a lot harder stage. But if he manages to pass that he would have a pretty good foundation on becoming a police officer. A week passed and he finally got an email about a scheduled interview. He made his way to Mission Row. Two officers met him at front desk, Guilherme Tavares and Torsten Church. Ace had his best suit on and was ready for anything that would come his way. The interview went perfect. Ace was very confident and gave the most honest and precise answers he could to any question. Officers were very satisfied with his education. Since the interview was really good they decided to pass him. Ace was only missing Police Academy before he would become a sworn member of Los Santos Police Department. A few days later the Academy took place. It was held by Police Captain Kilo Crosby at the training rooms of Mission Row Police Station. Ace was following all instructions very clearly and did his very best. All attendants passed the Police Academy #185. Ace said his vow with great honor and received his shiny police badge. It was his happiest day since he arrived to Los Santos. He didn't waste any seconds to immediately call his parents and tell them about it. They didn't hear each other for soo long and they were soo happy to hear Ace's voice. When his mother heard about what happened she busted into tears of pure joy. His father was soo proud and told him to behave nice and be a honorable police officer.

As a Cadet Ace still had a long way to go before he would become a full officer. He had to pass the Field Training Program by attending multiple Field Training Sessions and Field Training Reports. Unfortunately during the time of his training Ace had to leave the city quickly. His mother was very sick and he couldn't stay abroad knowing that. Ace had to travel back to Serbia and be with his mother in need. He had to resign from Police Department, but he had strong beliefs that he will return one day. Ace took care of his mother and was her biggest support during the hard times. After half a year in Serbia, his mother was feeling a lot better. Ace was able to come back to Los Santos. He arrived and immediately filed Reinstatement Application for the Police Department which was approved shortly. Ace was finally able to resume his Training Program. After about 1 Month after his reinstatement he managed to complete his Evaluation. This was the last step before becoming a full Police Officer. He was just supposed to do his job and wait for a promotion. 2 Weeks later he was promoted and became a sworn Police Officer I within the Police Department. He chose Mission Row Patrol Division as his precinct since he knew the supervisors and command there were nice and a lot of his friends were police officers in that particular division. Ace was proud of himself. He immediately informed his family and friends in Serbia about his achievement. This was a great start to an enjoyable career.

Ace met a lot of people in the department and was very happy about his current position in life. He achieved his childhood dream, but many new dreams arose. He had set up a bunch of new goals within the Police Department and was ready to pursue them. Of course his job didn't consist of only good moments. He had a lot of colleagues die on his eyes. Somedays were worse then the others. But with the help of Police Department itself and his friends, Ace went through all the good and bad things job was throwing at him. Always feeling highly honored for carrying the badge of Los Santos Police Department.
