The two brothers took over from former boss and father Tommy Paterno. With Tommy as the head honcho, the organization originated in Palermo, Italy, established in 1987. The crime ring operates in drug smuggling, gun running, and armed robbery, while also utilizing extortion; using fear and intimidation in order to coerce local townspeople into paying protection. In 2001, the syndicate moved to South Central Los Santos, in an attempt to fulfill the American dream, and to bring their aspect of "Italian culture" to America. In 2014, Tommy Paterno was arrested on gun charges, aged 66, and is currently serving 15 years in a federal penitentiary. P R O L O G U E Palermo, Italy - the heart of Sicily, a large community, filled with exotic beaches, five-star hotels, and most of all, amazing restaurants. All of this coated in a cloud of crime, murder, robbery, prostitution - run by local mobsters, each of which controlling a different district. The end of World War II saw a massive boom in the crime rate, birthing ruthless mobs and crime rings, characterised by a luxurious lifestyle, money, and beautiful women. By the late 1980's, Palermo was home to the biggest families in Italy, one of which was the Porta Nuova, a ruthless mob with the sole intention to cause harm; doing so by recruiting young men to carry out tasks they wouldn't do. Giuseppe Paterno, father of Dante Paterno, was an Enforcer in the Porta Nuova, dealing in extortion, and drug running; which he used his profits to finance his paternal duties. He was rarely at his home, leaving his wife to tend to the children. The family owned a small grocery store in a close community, near to their home. Dante, the oldest son, was the cashier for most of his teenage years, and throughout the years, he had seen the flow of money, and had met all types of people; on occasion, meeting the Porta Nuova's Caporegime - Tomas Savastano, each time they met, he would gift Dante with some money. The next in line was Lucas Paterno, who did the accounting of the business, he was the most intelligent out of the children, achieving top grades all year round at school. The three remaining child Alfonso Paterno, although being quite young, helped out around the shop, stocking shelves, cleaning up and helping customers. Dante was 20 years old when his parents Giuseppe and Maria were shot and critically injured through crossfire during a shoot-out in a nearby neighborhood, and was eager to let his frustrations out, doing so with Tomas Savastano’s help. Maria was paralyzed from the waist down, and Giuseppe became mentally unstable. To exact his revenge Dante spoke to Tomas about joining the Porta Nuova, to which he accepted, and so took Dante under his wing, as an associate to the mob. Dante specialised in car-jacking and extortion, bringing in vast amounts of cash and valuable goods, meanwhile Lucas was excelling educationally, at the University of Palermo, studying Law. Giovanni Paterno was 16, and took charge of the Grocery store, employing close friends to be his executives. You could have just as well stolen all of it. )) ((Well, i'm one of the most known players in that server and i'd say anyone who knows the server will know me, so let me worry about it. Why not bridge it when i already worked on it for more than 2000 hours in another game? I have thousands of hours in LSPD on NGG and another thousand hours in LSPD on LS-RP, but none of that bridged over for me. Every time I switched servers I had to start from scratch. Other communities have rules against copypasta factions, but Eclipse is a little more laid back, so I suppose it's likely that they'll allow it. In that case, good luck, I suppose. In my opinion i have everyright to move my faction, my own writings to another server as i wish. Italy Mafia : SA-MP Its nice to see Paterno Crime Family is still living on, I dont know when you took it over but i was the orginal underboss under the #1 Don of the crime family that was called Ivan Paterno, When he left i took it over " Shane Paterno ". To bad the Background has changed since me and ivan owned it. Eitherway i continued to branch out and even made a gaming community in 2013 called Paterno Gaming Community.
