You'll be using your forum account in order to play Eclipse if you don't have a forum account yet I recommend creating one so you have an account to play. However your forum username doesn't have to be your roleplay name because once you login you'll be able to create up to 3 characters each with a different roleplay name. Character Customization Character Customization allows you full control over the appearance and look of your character. You should be able to be who you want and roleplay who you want to be without any problems! Using character customization will give your player a different appearance than everyone else and it'll allow you to become your own individual. You'll also be able to create more than 1 character after login and then select the character you wish to play. [spoiler=Character Customization] Garbage Job One of the top jobs I think you all will be enjoying in Eclipse is the garbage job. All over Los Santos and Blaine County you can expect to see our citizens are very messy people. You'll have the joy of collecting trash around the map and earning the big bucks! When you start the garbage job your very own garbage truck will spawn beside you. This will stop others from hogging all the trucks as if they were spawned statically. When you quit the job your truck will despawn so make sure you quit it somewhere near you car or be ready to call a taxi! [spoiler=Garbage Job] Mining Job In Eclipse-RP one of our many jobs will be Mining. With mining you can collect metal and sell your metal resources to industries that require it such as Vehicle Manufacturing. [spoiler=Mining Job] Mechanic Job A mechanic can repair a car anywhere they are kinda like road side assistance. The mechanic will be able to decide on their own on how much they want to charge for their repair. There may be more things for mechanics to do once more vehicle systems are created. So stay tuned! ATMs We've given almost every ATM we could functionality in-game. You'll be able to find all of our ATMs using the map. The ATMs are defined by the '$' symbol. At an ATM we've designed a UI allowing you to make quick and smooth transactions without you having the trouble of looking at a list of commands to figure out how to desposite cash, or withdraw the cash you plan to use on your new car! [spoiler=ATMs] Car System To maximize your roleplay efforts we've added a little something extra to the car system. At any car you'll be able to individual open the trunk, hood, or car doors by simply running up to a door, hood, or trunk and pressing the 'o' key on your keyboard. Many of our cops will enjoy this feature! [spoiler=Car System] Dropped Items In Eclipse-RP you'll be able to drop your items and instead of vanishing in thin air they will appear in a box on the ground creating garbage or goods for others to pickup. [spoiler=Dropped Items] Game Panel Re-Written The previous Game Panel was disabled and we've decided to have the entire panel re-written. So we've begun work on the new Game Panel which will be using XenForo authentication just like your in-game account. With this rather HUGE required task we've also taken on another Developer please welcome Scowen who will be our new web developer. He will also be helping with UI development for Eclipse-RP. The Game-Panel should be available again soon. Dynamic Faction System We've began work on the Dynamic Faction System and so far we've made great progress. We currently can create a faction and it's rank groups with in-game commands without the need to restart the script. This system will allow us to create more factions, and delete them on the fly in-game. As we grow in player base ... more and more factions will appear which means more jobs and more leadership opportunities. Any player will be able to use this system to create their own faction, create and manage faction groups and customize their permissions and equipment. All player made factions will have equal possibilities, their success will only depend on the abilities of their members. As we are still working hard on this system we don't have any screenshots just yet to show. Eclipse Games Protect The President We've completed pre-release development for protect the president for Eclipse Games. It will be all good to go by public release of the GTA:N client.
