Mr.Potato Posted April 6, 2017 Report Posted April 6, 2017 Hello guys, Just wondering if voip is currently deactivated or if I simply missed something. I turned on mediastreaming and checked on the settings.xml as suggested. I am also running a virtual mixer, which I already turned off ... still no luck. I looked into the general gta:n reddit but couldn't find anything related, that's why I'm asking. Thanks! (im getting a "[no voice]" message for a couple of seconds right before my character spawns ingame)

GinCat Posted April 6, 2017 Report Posted April 6, 2017 I have been experiencing it. Some people can talk and be heard, but others can't. I have no idea what the issue is.
Jack_Toro Posted April 7, 2017 Report Posted April 7, 2017 I resolved it. Had to toggle voice off, restart game. Toggle back on, restart game. then finally launch and log in and it works perfectly. Also for good measure since voice is currently P2P I've added GTAV.exe and Play GTAV.exe to to my firewall as exceptions to allow all traffic both in and out. #winning
