harmdone Posted June 15, 2017 Report Posted June 15, 2017 (edited) First of all, if you have the STEAM game version, these are the files for those: STEAM DOWNGRADE FILES SOCIAL CLUB game version, these are the files you need for those: SOCIAL CLUB DOWNGRADE FILES update.rpf FOR SOCIAL CLUB ONLY Steps necessary for downgrading files: Step 1: Download and extract the files necessary for your client. Step 2: Go into your Grand Theft Auto: V folder. If you're in steam, it's located in Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/Common/Grand Theft Auto: V. If you have social club, it's wherever you chose the files to be (most likely default is C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto: V). Step 3: Backup your upate.rpf in the update folder (in a folder called backup or whatever) so you don't have to re-download or update it later. Copy and paste the update.rpf file into the update folder and overwrite the old one. IMPORTANT: Only overwrite the update.rpf in this folder. Do not replace anything else! Step 4: Backup your files here so you don't have to re-download or update it later. Copy and paste the GTAV.exe and PlayGTAV.exe and Overwrite the old ones in the GTA V main folder. If you have steam files, replace the steamapi64.dll as well. Step 5: Start your client. DONE !!!!!!!!!! When ScriptHook updates, you will need to manually update your game again via Steam/Social Club (OR just backup the files you replace before you replace them to put them back when ScriptHook is out).
