Welfare system

What I was thinking about is this:

I'be read that the projected income is about 3k an hour. So let's say that if you work for 10-20 hours at least, you should pay like 2% welfare tax extra, and then if you don't work for a couple of hours, you may still receive some kind of welfare based on how come you payed for it. For instance, if your welfare fund is 10k, then you receive 1-2k an hour.

Let me know what you think about it.

This would definitely bring some realism to the work system.

But then again, the welfare system should be optional, so that if you don't want to get it, you can opt out.

*The projected pay is $7.000 for jobs and $7.000-10.000 for government factions.

I'm not sure I completely understand your idea. Would a player be able to get back all of his money if he takes a break from working or only part of it? And if so, would anyone even want to use it as an optional feature, wouldn't they rather get all of their money right now and there?

Only a part of it every hour, until all his funds run dry or like 4K an hour for 3 hours if he worked to pay for at least 10-12k. The funds for this welfare system could be taken from everyone that opts for it so that that cash amount is never dry.

The welfare tax has to be calculated so that it can support the system, so instead of getting more money from the treasurer, it will add to it.

A week ago, all prices and salaries were changed to balanced and fix the broken economy. It got balanced, but the majority of people were unsatisfied by the tax rates and low salaries, got a lot of complaints about it and I kept hearing "reward players for playing, not punish them", so the salaries were doubled and it became pretty stable. I think your idea would punish those, who want to play more and would add up to the existing taxes. And who would want to lose money, if it's optional?

Well, the welfare should be optional. Like you can pay if you want to receive. If you don't want to pay more taxes, then you receive no welfare. Simple as that.
