Offering several types of security for civilians and organizations. Merryweather Security is, by all means, a private military, but unlike GTA 5's lore-accurate Merryweather, we actually comply with the law. Or at least, we do now. Rest in peace, Lester. As a military-style security company, our ranks and behaviour reflect this. *Goals; The goal with Merryweather Security is to be the go-to security company whenever extra security seems necessary and to be a known and respected company within the state. The final goal for Merryweather Security is to be granted permission by SAGOV and LSPD to carry and take use of heavier firearms while actively performing their duties and getting access to all Merryweather-branded vehicles. inorigj Posted January 25 Author Report Posted January 25 (edited) Merryweather Security's base of operations is well known to be centered around the Bay Area of Los Santos. More specifically, the ports of Los Santos. Due to lab locations and other properties owned by private citizens, the locations Merrweather occupies have been adjusted accordingly. As Merryweather is a "pay for security" style entity. They show no interest in responding or otherwise wasting resources on gangs killing each other within drug labs around them. inorigj Posted February 22 Author Report Posted February 22 After getting things up and running, Merryweather kept pushing forward. They didn't have a lot of staff, so they always kept their resources spread very thin, but they managed to stay afloat for now. They still had their 2 contracts from the start, supplying them with a steady flow of income and work, and occasional pop-up contracts for events. One of these events was for Downtown Cap Co. DCC had reached out a month in advance, requesting 3 Protection Officers for their event. The event went smoothly except for some troublemakers messing with some cars. At the end of the event. Merryweather was made aware that one of their Protection Officers had not displayed proper professionalism during the event and had upset the client (DCC) as a result of this. Merryweather's high command quickly took action on this. and to ensure that the group helps the others remember to behave. The entire staff team at the time was forced to do 50 pushups to pay for the 1 officer's mistake. After the event, Inori Komatsu got a phone call from Lewis Langley asking if he was still getting protection. They informed Langley that yes, as he is the Ceo of one of the companies that Merryweather is contracted to protect, he falls under their protection. He informed them that he needed an escort and protection to and at his property, as his parole officer was coming over to talk with him. MW010036 2 Quote
inorigj Posted March 6 Author Report Posted March 6 ACTIVITY REPORT After Merryweather - Los Santos showed a promising growth rate, they were granted a bigger pool of funding and, in turn, managed to hire more employees. With more employees, they needed to create and maintain a training program for new hires. As an incentive to keep up the good work, the HQ in Liberty City decided to ship over another asset to use. This being a Terrorbyte, it will function as a mobile command center for Merryweather during tasks that will take a while to complete. Such as working property security for clients who pay for a high-threat security package. At this time, Merryweather Security - Los Santos has obtained a few contracts and a solid flow of funds, but is still far from where they'd want to be. Their operations require manpower and a lot of external funding, something they haven't managed to obtain yet. MW010048 3 Quote
inorigj Posted April 11 Author Report Posted April 11 Inori Komatsu from Merryweather one day decided to swing by a client to follow up on some contractual agreements. This being bodyguard duties for the client. Upon arriving Marco Davis reached out and asked if Merryweather would be doing security for the event. Seeing as the client was a Weazel news employee they could complete 2 tasks in 1, maximising their profits. Inori reached out to the rest of Merryweather and notified them about the work and they all showed up. After the event started and people flocked the area, people lined up inside signing up to show their talents. Some people were walking around pissing off people just to get a reaction, ending up with being chased by a group of 8-10 people. Merryweather had to step in and disperse the crowd. After giving verbal commands several times with no effect, Inori Komatsu took their firearm and shot 1 bullet up in the air. This made everyone who was chasing the man run back inside the event building and back off. The rest of the event had a few hiccups here and there, with Merryweather having to help LSPD detain a man harassing people and attacking the event attendees. Inori ordered all the merryweather employees without a LEO background to stand back during the situation and as the man was cuffed/tazed to leave the rest to the on duty LEOs. 3 Quote
E46M3s Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 (edited) Spoiler Merryweather’s officers once reported getting fed up with how frustrating doing security for one of the clients was, as the clients kept getting themselves into trouble resulting in both merryweather and the client getting assaulted almost daily. As a result Merryweather reached out to the local government requesting permission to use Body armor for better protection during risky situations. One day Inori Komatsu decided that giving the officer’s some different experience by working for a different client could be refreshing for them so she reached out to SVR who was planning an event at their property [Club Six] SVR liked the idea of freeing up some of their guys at the event by having Merryweather handle their security. Merryweather promptly sent out a company wide notice in regards to the event and as the date arrived they headed to the event location to assist. The event went pretty smoothly except for 1 lady that started threatening the Club six staff and merryweather security with an axe. In response Merryweather equipped their body armor and drew their weapons informing the lady that she was being trespassed by the property on request from the property owner. She refused to leave, ending with Local Law Enforcement being called in. 1 of the officers stuck behind as the police attempted to make contact until the lady started evading the police on their bike.
