Suggestion to revive the servers

First, I want to thank you for all the hard work you put into building and maintaining this comunity. Your dedication is what makes this server a great place to be.

im writing today with a suggestion that i think could bring some new life to our community and mark a new chapter for the server. I would like to propose a one-time "Fresh Start" amnesty, offering a path for previously banned members to come back.

The Idea:

The proposal is to unban most of the former members, giving them a second chance to be a part of the community, but under a really strict new understanding of the rules.

Why we should consider This?

More Activity: A wave of returning players could boost activity, bring back old friendships, and make the server feel more populated and alive than ever.

People Change: Many bans happened months, or even years ago. People grow up and mature. A former rule-breaker is probly ready to be a good member of the community now.

A New Start: This would be a really cool symbol for the server, showing that you believe in second chances. It’s a great way to mark a server anniversary or a major update.

The hard part (Ban Evaders):

I know the biggest concern is people who did serious stuff, especially ban evasion. This is usually a perma-ban, and i get why.

But here's the thing, a lot of the people who ban evaded are still playing because they genuinely love this server. They aren't trying to destroy anything, they just really want to be here and made a bad choice trying to get back in. Their dedication is just pointed in the wrong direction.

Also, we should think about the players who got banned for "failure to report a ban evader." Some of them got banned forever just for knowing someone or being in the same group, not because they themselves did anything wrong. It feels kinda unfair that they are gone forever for that, they especially deserve a second chance.

My suggestion isn't to just forget what happened. Instead, we offer a conditional return under a "Zero-Tolerance Probation" policy.

Heres how it could work:

Acknowledge and Agree: To get unbanned, the player has to admit to what they did (especially the ban evasion) and agree to follow all the current rules.

One Strike & You're Out. For good. Any player who comes back through this and breaks any rule again—even a small one—gets banned permanently. No more appeals. no more chances.

Its On Them: This puts all the responsibility on the returning player. They know they're being given a very rare opportunity and have to be on their absolute best behavior.

By including even the ban evaders, you send a powerful message that you are willing to offer a true fresh start, but you also make your rules even more serious because the consequences for breaking them again are absolute.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this. I know moderation is a tough job and a decision like this has many factors to it. Whatever you guys decide, I'll respect it and keep supporting the server.

This will not be happening. Players are still encouraged to submit ban appeals and their case will be reviewed on an individual basis. Those who have not broken severe rules always have a chance of returning providing they can prove their ability to learn from previous mistakes.
