Kick players out of properties if they log out

Recommended Posts

Scenario: you invite people over at your house, some guy you dont know gets in and logs out the game while inside, they log back in a few days later to check if you have loot in some unlocked safe, they take and leave while the main door is locked still and your kept wondering what hit you.

  • Who is the suggestion for?
    - Home/business owners
  • Why is the suggestion being made?
    - Cause ive been a victim of loot goblins multiple times also couple of friends of mine.

  • What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion?
    - Pros: nobody will logout at your house then log back in a month later to steal things.
    - Cons: people who crash at events inside clubs or something will have to go back in through the door, but this can be avoided by checking how recent the player last login if it was recent then dont kick them out the property.

  • How should the suggestion be implemented?
    - On player login, check if he's in a property not his, if so, put him outside at the door.

yeah huge +1 to this. I can imagine at a house party or something, someone can log out during the even, and then log back in knowing full well no one is going to be around, and then if anything is left unlocked/not in safe its quite the easy snatch

so the other day, at my casino penthouse, i went in the lift and unlocked my door, some other guy saw that and followed me and went in the house instantly, i did not dare to go inside thinking he would rob me,

eventually i had to guts to go in but i did not see anyone, i wasn't aware that the guy had instant spawned in my appartement and logged out instantly, so i just loged out myself since it was late, and the next day i found bags all over my penthouse,

that guy had simply quickspawned infront of my door then entered, logged out, just to have free time to crack my safes,

+1, its just plain NON-RP unless somebody manages to succesfully roleplay hiding but then you still run the risk of powergaming if nobody is around to see/rp against you.
