Tommy Bean

Tommy Bean grew up in the harsh streets of London, England, It was rough and rugged with very little opportunity. His father, a proud black man, was tied up into in the life of a street gang, selling drugs and running with dangerous people. Tommy's dad was a larger than life figure to him Tommy looked up to him and wanted to follow his every move, despite his lifestyle Tommy’s father was a man of morals and stood for the right things, he always had his family's best interests at heart he was full of charisma and almost had a sense of invincibility. This was never going to last with the life that he so regretfully chose to lead. One day Tommy’s father woke and went on his daily routine, woke up, went to the shops to get the daily needs of a small family of three, then of course went to make his money. He had a small drug deal just down the road from the house where he was fatally shot. Tommy’s dad was set up, robbed and unfortunately killed that day. 

Tommy's mother fought a long, painful battle with cancer, Tommy had already slipped into the same lifestyle his father had led. He was young, angry, and without direction. He had inherited his father’s street smarts, but lacked the guidance that might’ve kept him from making the same mistakes. He knew what he was doing was wrong, he knew it would only lead to him ending up where he began, however with the mental struggles Tommy had developed which coincided with his mother having terminal cancer made it almost impossible for him to get away. A year after his fathers passing, Tommy’s mother lost her battle to cancer, at the age of 37, leaving him with very little escape. Tommy, now 19 years of age has nowhere to live and very little people to fall back on.

Tommy always felt like he was living in the shadow of his father, walking the same dark and treacherous road he had once walked for all those years, he couldn’t outrun it. Tommy however was gifted, he was too smart to fall victim to the same fate, but too caught up to escape it. After many years of bouncing from sofa to sofa, hostel to hostel, room to room he finally had made enough money to make a change, Tommy did well in school and was most certainly capable of becoming something more, just not in the streets of London.

Tommy packed up the little belongings he had and began searching for the cheapest flight out of the country, to the land of opportunity, America. Specifically Los Santos. He had big plans, massive aspirations and of course a dream.
