olowepolo Posted October 11, 2024 Report Posted October 11, 2024 Just had a random thought that this would be quite a cool idea. A tint you could have on the windscreen and rear windscreen would look quite cool in my opinion. it could be an illegal add on to the car that you can be fined for if seen by cops and could be applied by regular mechanics but you must be warned that it is illegal and you can be fined for it etc. different % tints as well on the windscreen. I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not just had a thought Quote
Jordan Posted October 13, 2024 Report Posted October 13, 2024 I like the idea but the problem is, tint isn't something you can just remove so easily. Stuff like colored headlights are illegal on vehicles but thats easily helped with commands like /xenons. If you're driving a vehicle in the day time with a full tint youre getting pulled over instantly. You have to pay to get it removed, and its unrealistic to have a command like /tint. Its a good idea though. 1 Quote
Quietthecutie Posted October 13, 2024 Report Posted October 13, 2024 (edited) Jordan said it well. every vehicle with tints would get pulled over and unlike xenons this isnt something you could realistically toggle on and off, so your car would just be a magnet for cops. So, make it legal to do right? not a great option either, as being able to see inside a vehicle reasonably easily is a large part of LEO/Crim RP. Dont get me wrong i think tinted windows would look fire too, but i dont think theres a way to implement them effectively. Edited October 13, 2024 by Quietthecutie Quote
olowepolo Posted October 13, 2024 Author Report Posted October 13, 2024 Yeah i didnt think about that really, but i guess if you want a tint you have to be under the assumption that you could be pulled over. I am still trying to get this idea done. Im a legal and i would have a tinted window, the only way an officer can see is if they are in front of you, If behind you are free Quote
Timmaayy Posted October 15, 2024 Report Posted October 15, 2024 Sadly due to GTA limitations, this won't be easily possible to apply to all vehicles as currently vehicles do not support these tints. Quote
