We are the states authoritative figure that deals with processing and evaluating charged criminals that have broken state and / or constitutional laws. We work closely with the criminal justice system and the Los Santos Police Department to ensure our streets are kept safe and crime free as much as physically possible. Our purpose is to incarcerate and confine individuals that have been suspected (or charged) of committing a crime. We have an operating capacity of 240 inmates and we house both male and female adults. The officers with the SADOC don’t see themselves as police officers but guardians of the peace. Their job is to maintain a level of peace while also ensuring the safety of all officers, inmates, police officers, medical staff and visitors to the prison.
