It all started in the gritty streets of Thessaloniki, a Greek family business turned from selling gyros, to selling all kinds of illegal contraband. After some tough years for the family Gyros restaurant, they couldn’t afford to live any more, and seeing as the country of Greece was slowly losing its grip on the economy and police and the government became more and more corrupt, the family decided to follow suit. The family became a brotherhood, known as skg 2310, named after their home city’s airport code. They quickly grew in size after taking control of the entire city using money to buy off the police and eventually politicians as well.

Expansion into Gun Trade
After seeing the success in Greece skg 2310 found themselves growing too fast for themselves to keep up with, they were getting more orders in than they could handle and decided to expand their market. They started by acquiring firearms through a black market factory that had connections in Albania. There their reputation for quality weaponry soon spread, attracting the attention of criminal elements all over the Albanian underground. With the help of an Albanian contact, SKG began smuggling guns across the border, exchanging weapons for cash and favors. Their efficiency and reliability quickly made them a major player in the Balkan arms trade, supplying rebel organizations with heavy weaponry such as assult rifles and explosives.

Diversification into Drugs
With the gun trade now going steady, and lucrative at that, skg started looking for other ways to expand. skg had purposely stayed away from drugs so as to not attract too much attention by the other big players in the Balkan drug trade, but after their Albanian contact gave them some crucial new intel, they realized now was the time to pounce. Interpol had recently launched an investigation into 3 major drug trafficking operations in Turkey, Greece and most crucially, Bulgaria. As the 3 major plates would be forced to slow things down, skg 2310 took advantage. Leveraging their existing smuggling routes, they began importing heroin and other narcotics from Turkey, using Greece as a transit point. This new venture required new partnerships, and the gang found a willing ally in Bulgaria. skg established a pipeline for narcotics flowing from the east into Bulgaria, and from there into Western Europe.

Combining Forces for Greater Profit
With skg 2310 becoming the biggest force in both arms and narcotics skg 2310 started getting into trouble. Managing both trades took a toll on the organization and with the European landscape changing it was getting harder to keep everything under control. The higher ups in skg 2310 decided that the next step was to combine the drug and gun trade into one place, far from home so it would be easier to keep it from following them home to Greece. They set their sights on Los Santos, a sprawling metropolis known for its vibrant underworld. The city’s fractured and competitive criminal landscape presented both a challenge and an opportunity.

The brotherhood sent their two most trusted lieutenants, Nathan Briggs and Kai Jaxon, to establish and eventually control a hold on the underworld landscape of Los Santos. The idea being that if they could integrate both trades, skg would be able to undercut competitors and offer a one-stop shop for illicit goods, cementing their dominance in the city’s black market.

Stepping on toes

After arriving in Los Santos, Kai an Nathan began building their operation immediately. They started by recruiting people to their cause and laying the groundworks for an organization worthy of carrying the skg 2310 name. Luckily Nathan already had a vast network in Los Santos and quickly received offers from people who could help. It didn't take long before they peaked the interest of the other underworld organizations in Los Santos, one of them being a PMC. After a long meeting with the PMC, Nathan managed to convinced them to join skg 2310, the idea being they could act as security while Nathan and Kai set up the trade routes.

After searching for a while in Los Santos, Nathan and Kai discovered a great little Gyros restaurant near Vespucci beach. A little piece of home. The restaurant is a great location to set up a base of operations. With the area being very closed off it doesn't attract cops, and the restaurant would easily act as a front while they use ingredient trucks to smuggle in and out contraband of all sorts, this was the perfect place.

Toes fires back

After gathering the skg members at their new HQ they quickly attracted the attention of The Shadows, another illegal organization working out of Vespucci. The Shadows showed up with multiple members of their command and inquired about skg's business in Vespucci. Being very tightlipped, Nathan and Kai rubbed The Shadows the wrong way and the conversation quickly escalated to a turf dispute. The Shadows had already laid claim to Vespucci and made it very clear that skg's presence was a problem. 
The Shadows were reasonable, they offered that something could be worked out between the two groups, but Nathan and Kai felt they were getting bullied out of the area they had now picked out for themselves. They made it clear to The Shadows that they weren't moving and that this had to be settled today. The Shadows didn't respond well to this and left after not being able to reason with Nathan and Kai.

Nathan and Kai watched the Shadows members leave the area, as soon as they were out of earshot Nathan ordered every member of skg to gear up, "Expect retaliation, soon." The PMC said they had a stash of weapons somewhere else and drove off to get it. The rest of skg stayed back, setting up on the rooftops. It didn't take long before they heard a bike rolling in and Nathan sprung into action, aiming his gun at him telling him to get the fuck out of there. The biker was wearing The Shadows trademark oni mask so Nathan's patience was low. The masked man didn't respond to the threat so Nathan shot him down. This was the first casualty of war.

Only a few minutes after taking out the masked man, cars started circling the gyro restaurant. skg went back on the rooftops and started calling out over the radio. "Ayo PMC, where you guys at?! The Shadows are here, now!." ... no answer. skg realized they were on their own. The first shot was fired, then a second one, suddenly bullets were flying all over the place "One down", "two down" skg were holding their ground. "They're coming onto the roofs!" more gunfire was heard all across Vespucci. "Nathan is down!" "Fuck I'm going down too!"... The shadows were too many, with a better arsenal and a more coordinated attack and it showed. It was a hard fought battle, but there was no doubt, skg had fallen.
