This is a follow on from my post 'John Vayro's fight' https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/topic/150828-john-vayros-fight-update/ I am back to work and everything is going well. We had to sell some things to stay afloat, for example one of our cars. It was sat on our driveway, gathering dust and costing us monthly, so it had to go. We struggled on with my little Audi A3. First world problems i know, but when there are seven in our household, its a little difficult. I've had an apology from the people who sacked me whilst I was fighting it, and a long time ago I learned to never burn a bridge. And that paid off as someone I used to help out a few years ago, offered me a job. So after 6 months of no work, I was of course nervous to go back. Scared of an injury, or some staples may pop internally, but no. And I am enjoying this work. Yesterday, finally after 6 months, we finally managed to get our second car back. And my wife (whom I am eternally grateful for) is now over the moon to have some independence back. Now I don't know if I told anyone this, but, my cancer was found, completely by accident. There are no symptoms of it. No tiredness, or ill feeling. No pain to start with, until it grows and takes over. A pure accident. You see, I'm a performer. I started doing it last year. And I did my first show last year. In front of a crowd. Honestly i sh*t myself, but I did it. I was rehearsing for a second show, when a little stunt went wrong and i ended up on the floor, with some severe pain in my side and my back. I lasted maybe a week after that before my wife sent me off to the hospital A&E, where they discovered that I had cracked three ribs, and slipped two discs in my back. And in order to get these discs put back, they would have to scan me. And there it was. the evil bit, sat there smirking on my kidney. This is a link to the first show I ever did, and these people, on this stage are just part of the reason that I am alive today, so I would just like to show you, what real heroes look like. normal people, like you and me.
