After the latest Rage update a few things got broken, the character creator and by extension viewing characters before selection being one of them. The development team is aware of these issues and is currently working on resolving them. In the mean time I suggest you remain patient or try your luck going in blind. Topic will be locked and archived as there is no solution to this besides waiting.
