Born in the Bronx, New York, Jay McKay was an awfully quiet and shy child
due to the fact that his parents used to abuse him every single day. Jay McKay had a very rough childhood that made him scared of people he would never interact or speak to anyone and he always used to get picked on for being too quiet and weird. One particular day, Jay McKay was walking home from school when a masked man went up to him and started robbing him, taking his phone, wallet, and jewelry. Jay was devastated and was scared to go home, when he got home his parents were furious, they started yelling and punching him, that’s when Jay had enough. He got all the money he could and booked a one way flight to Los Santos, not knowing his life would change for the better.
When Jay got to the city he knew what he wanted to do, he wanted to become a great criminal in one of the biggest gangs in Los Santos. First day in Los Santos Jay met a great man called Kringlz we used to roll around Los Santos and look for people to make friends with and that’s how Jay met Ray Edwards. Ray was one of the best and funniest people Jay could make friends with, he was there for Jay and Jay was there for him. One day Jay and Kringlz wanted to rob a store, so Jay called Ray to see if he knew any people to sell Jay a gun. To Jay’s surprise he did know someone so Ray told him to meet him at the bank. Taking Kringlz’s car and leaving him at the pier, Jay was excited, he went to the bank as fast as he could and when Jay arrived, both Ray and Jay paid half and half for the gun. Picking up Ray from the bank we headed back to the pier where Kringlz was waiting for us, unfortunately Jay got nervous when he saw the cop and swerved right around him causing the cop to pull Jay over. Jay was nervous; he has never encountered a cop before. The cop told Jay that the car wasn’t his and he needed to step out of the vehicle, so Jay complied. When Jay stepped out of the vehicle he went to the wall that the cop told him to go to and wait there while he figured out whose car it was. After waiting for so long another officer realizes something weird behind Jay’s back, it was his gun. Holding Jay at gunpoint the officer put cuffs on Jay and Jay ended up getting arrested.
Arriving at the prison, Jay was nervous, he didn’t know what to expect. The corrections officer uncuffed him and Jay put on his jumpsuit. Jay walked out of the cell nervous but, then he met one amazing man that would change his life completely, his name was Blaze Jackson, he was the nicest person Jay has met and made Jay feel safe at the prison. Blaze was telling Jay his life story and how he got arrested. At the end of Blaze’s life story Jay thought to himself on how he would make a great gang leader, so he asked Blaze if he has ever owned a gang, his response was “Yes I have”. Jay thinking even more ended up asking Blaze if he could make a gang at first Blaze was hesitant but, all the begging Jay did convinced Blaze to say yes and that’s how Dawn started.
Blaze informed Jay that he works for Blaze and only Blaze. When Jay got out of prison he was excited, he wanted to impress Blaze by getting as many people in Dawn as he could. When Blaze got out, to Blaze’s surprise Jay gathered around 10-12 people ready to be in the gang life. Unfortunately Dawn’s time was limited, as Blaze was in the plans of making a new and better gang called The Los Santos Royals with Paige West, Joey Murphy, and Drake Hunter. Jay didn’t know at the time but, when Blaze informed Jay about the good news, Jay exploded with happiness, he was telling Blaze how much he appreciated him and how he is like a father he never fully had.
