Modify player speed based on what AP amount they have equipped
Mpache replied to Demonmit1's topic in Game Suggestions
I can see this being a decent addition, but I think 50 and 75 AP are light armor (or 'without plates') and shouldn't come with a speed penalty, whereas 100 and up should start at 95% or so. In an ideal setting, there would be a stamina bar that could get drained faster instead of a speed difference, depending on how much armor you were carrying. There's also an innate imbalance when it comes to "Crim vs LEO", a crim can quickly drop the armor they are wearing while an LEO has it locked on them due to the faction loadout system, so there'd have to be rules implemented to 'balance' it. -
This has been fixed in today's update, stonks. Can be archived!

Whilst I do understand what Chapman means, scenes are 'often' paused especially if larger in size for various reasons, and it is a game after all. Medics are taught to 'rush things along' by default, because they do have an injured patient, and a bleedout timer being present after stabilization would cause a lot of issues. And again, this could be resolved if the system as a whole was reworked, and then a 'stabilize bleedout' would make sense to be possible.

Unfortunately, with how Medical RP works, this is not feasible. I'm not against changing it to a "skill game" of some sort, but definitely not the QuickTime action one that is present for, say, lockpicking. The Medical RP side of things could see a big rework where actual items are applied onto injuries, in which case a "/stabilize" command would work differently and would perhaps allow a medic to see what injuries there are, and subsequently apply items onto them that they carry with them. So, for the baseline suggestion, -1.

Date and time (provide timezone): 22/JUN/2024 UTC+2 Character name: Alex Mpache Issue/bug you are reporting: The /hideterritory command does not persist through /logout and game reload. Expected behavior: The territories should remain hidden after the command is used. Seeing them is map/minimap clutter for players who have no interaction with them. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: /hideterritory, then /logout or reload, and the territories will be visible again.

Currently, if you are scrolled up and a new message is received, the chat scrolls down to the bottom. I would like to be able to prevent the chat from scrolling, as this makes a big difference when there is a need to read something (most commonly RP, especially medical, can get lengthy) or take screenshots of the chat (i.e forensic RP). I believe the previous system wouldn't scroll on its own, and it would be nice to have either a toggle or have it default to not scrolling down.

I can't believe DOC can't use /blockade?? There can be a lot more added to the prison itself for inmates to do that would improve the general feel of the place, especially with more script support for inmate-to-guard interactions. Big +1 to the suggested additions.

The weather system could be looked at for a more forecast-compatible system, it would add more immersion for sure, similar to how snow storms are announced leading up to the snow map! Agreed with Ash.

Make the new Spray Cans script support case-sensitive characters. Allows for more expression! Numerize the fonts, allows for easier sharing of specific fonts (simply add 1., 2., 3. and on in front of each font) Additionally, I fully understand that this is a font limitation, but more ASCII support would be great! Perhaps a separate tab that allows ASCII characters to be utilized, even if not a part of the same 'spray use'.

Expected behavior: Durability is used only after applying spray paint. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Right-click a Spray Can, click Spray, then cancel, and durability will be used.

From what I've gathered, some people have performance issues when it rains/storms so reports might be sent in (or spammed even) to turn it off, but that's really a skill issue since GTA is a 10+ year old game. I've personally experienced no performance issues with rains/storms but I haven't used a struggle bus PC in a very long time, so I'm severely biased towards the "rain is completely fine" side. +1 to weather being as natural as possible, but rain *does* sometimes last a little too long. Perhaps a review of how long each weather setting can last could do it some justice.

A further suggestion/twist on it is having prison jobs/activities be on a rotation, so not all of them are available at the same time but rather have periods of uptime and downtime! +1, DOC needs a facelift

I agree that there should be both a quick remove and remove with a confirmation window, perhaps a toggle for the confirmation window could be a thing!
-
The first one is fairly straightforward - add an "Are you sure?" prompt when removing furniture via the CTRL+X menu for furniture. I've removed pieces so many times by accident by missclicking Remove instead of Edit, instantly removing the often carefully adjusted piece of furniture. The second one would be improving the /removefurniture command - possibly rework it to have an "Are you sure?" prompt that also shows which piece is being targeted, or add a /targetfurniture command that selects the closest piece of furniture, instead of instantly deleting it. Some items are impossible (glass) to select or just very difficult to select (selectable only at the item's 0,0,0 coordinates), and you can't touch them without either removing with /removefurniture or having a mod+ noclip and painstakingly select/remove the piece. There could also be a /selectnextfurniture (or something) command that cycles through nearby furniture, selecting it as if it were selected via the CTRL+X menu.

I'd say add a delay to the on-screen card, so it appears at the same time as it's revealed.

Pretty straightforward, add a "Deposit All" option to ATMs instead of having to type out the exact number. This can be implemented to work with cashing out casino chips as well since that also has a need for typing out an exact number. It would fit naturally next/under the already existing Deposit button.

Synchronize your system date and time, should help with it! (Unsure if new VIP changes have much to do with random cutoffs, but the listed ones seem random)

+1 but not instant, give it an action timer to prevent botting (or well, make it a bit more difficult). Could also add an action timer to reeling in a fish, makes sense really. Slightly bump fishing pay to compensate?

ooga booga BBCode!!11!!11 Don't be discouraged from checking out the advanced guide, plenty of intermediate stuff there too! PS: There may or may not be a couple of easter eggs in the other guide :clueless:

It isn't morphine, but I'm talking about overdosing on painkillers which currently has a script effect (you ragdoll randomly), so just an added effect.
