  1. I believe that this issue has an OOC side too, because the rules say that you can't rob players at the mine including hijacking their RV while they enter it but at the same time when someone enter's the RV after the owner and holds him on gun point then takes the RV keys off of him RPly the admins say it's allowed or "good RP" while hopping into an RV and driving away is not allowed so the admins themselves are indecisive, my point is that if the rules that they put restrict you from robbing/stealing RVs at the mine or at the drop off it doesn't mean anything if the system doesn't prevent it or have an effective way of responding to these incidents so that the victim doesn't go through much hassle to prove that he was robbed and then go through the process of a refund that will most likely be rejected due to the difficulty of calculating the losses. it can be prevented easily by putting a loading bar for entering RVs and just simply announce or make a clear rule about the situations that might not appear like it is restricted at first sight, another example is stealing a vehicle at the gas station while refueling, it is not allowed yet there is no broad and clear rule about it. I agree with the part that you have to be careful while entering and that there are ways to make it difficult for robbers to steal your RV like the examples you gave but why waste time trying to prevent something that is not allowed but you have to be careful because you might get robbed anyways, it surely does put people off the server but not because they RP poorly, they might be great at RPing but get frustrated by such incidents and leave the server
  2. I understand what you are saying and I get where you're coming from but we shouldn't fight rule breakers with more rule breaking instead, discussions like these make people more aware of how to properly RP and give us ideas on how to deal with situations like these and ideas to prevent the exploitation of the rules like the idea to make a loading bar for entering RVs and much more useful thoughts
  3. The past week I have been contacted in different days and different times by about 2 or 3 my friends asking me to help them retrieve their RV that was stolen while they were entering it or that they were chased and asked to unlock their RV that was full of ores after mining for like 2 or 4 hours straight, of course we go look for it everywhere to no avail. And because I work at LSC, we get a lot of requests from people who their RVs were stolen and destroyed in the same way. I want to know if there is a rule about doing such an act because it is a unfair for someone to work for 2 or 4 hours OOCly only so that someone could wait for them to enter their RV then drive it before the owner locks it from the inside. This is completely unfair because some entering an RV takes sometime to render the door and the lock option so the thieves here would be exploiting that fact to their advantage and accordingly ruin someone's day or pushing him to completely quit the server, another incident that I saw was a guy here in the Discussions section talking about how his day goes while trying to make money from hunting animals, his name is Xan go check his thread. I ended up being the mechanic that tows his Trophy Truck and when i talked to him he told me that it wasn't actually the first time this happened and that his car was stolen just a few days before and also completely destroyed so that it was gonna cost him about 12 13k to repair. So what do you guys think about this topic? I have a suggestion that may be of help an it's that the owner of the RV should have the ability to enter his RV without unlocking it because even if a rule exists to prevent people from stealing RVs that are used in mining ores or oil, it is really hard to gain evidence that this happened to you or know who did it so you can report him.
