Vamos de Fiesta
As the week turned crazier and crazier, things slowly started to settle down. Promotions were had, some illegal hen fights, chopping cars and business as usual for Aztecas along with the help of their friends and allies. Early one morning, while the homies were just chilling at the Church yard in Paleto, a farmer by the name of “Joe” walked up to them all and announced he was now their leader. They giggled and bowed to him, but when he said he had to go to the city they were all dismayed he was going to leave them. He was calling a taxi to take him so they called a bus to follow him, everyone of them in fits of giggles. Unfortunately the holy vato had other plans for Joe and he fell asleep. As they sat on the bus behind the taxi they thought well let's not waste the money we spent on getting this bus here and began drinking, it was never too early for a party. They asked the bus driver to take them on a tour around Paleto. They were in fits of laughter the entire time and had a beautiful sightseeing tour of the town and some surrounding areas.
As they were chilling in Paleto, Alicia was called to the supermarket HQ in Paleto. She arrived to find Yuki standing there looking excited as ever. Yuki called her over and handed her a small envelope, inside an invitation to one of the most anticipated weddings of all time - she was to become Yuki Brasco! Alicia jumped up and down hugging her. This was going to be a good one. Yuki smiled even more and whispered to her; “would you be a bridesmaid?”. Alicia screamed “SIIIII MAMACITA” and danced around her. The vatos had spent all week chilling, partying and relaxing but this was one party they would have to make sure everyone was looking fresh to death. They arrived at the Church and an excited Yuki dropped in to see them all before they left. Angelo pulled out the Limo, Alicia took out her Tornado, Dan got his Windsor and they drove in style to the rehearsal ceremony before the big moment. A beautiful wedding it was, Yuki looked stunning in her traditional Chinese dress, the groom looking so handsome in his suit with all the groomsmen and bridesmaids standing behind them. Purm officiated the wedding and tears rolled down some people’s cheeks listening to the beautiful couples vows. A huge after party was held in a friend’s house.
Rumours spread in this city like wildfire and every day seemed to be a new problem, but not ones that people cannot overcome. They had been working harder, as difficult as it had been with the cartels recent dissatisfaction at the police presence and involvement in their operations. But they just regrouped and ensured the relationships with their allies were always kept in order. They were also reached out to by <REDACTED> with information and a chance to form a new bond. This was something that was going to be interesting, both sides were cagey at the start but it seems this is growing over time. They were interested to see where this would lead.
She grabbed photos of the last week and glued them in one by one.

Re-Establishing Relationships
The most recent shipment of supplies had not arrived.
Aztecas were waiting at the pier for the ship to come in but nothing ever came. They grew anxious, what if something had happened to the people bringing them in? Days went by and still nothing was heard. The Aztecas thought they would reach out to Dennis to ask if he had any information and would be willing to continue to grow and build the relationship with them. They enjoyed their time in Paleto and had grown accustomed to the ways of the small sleepy town up north.
They drove up to the spot and asked if he would be willing to allow them to rent the area that they were using and to establish an ever better relationship than before. They made commitments to work even harder than before.
Dennis Lawrence is a man of few words but he sullenly agreed knowing that extra eyes around is not always a bad thing and they had brought in so much money before being such good customers. He knew this was going to be a mutually beneficial relationship. Carlos shook his hand and the deal was done, he would allow them to stay in the area and protect Paleto, provided they put in the work.
That night the Vatos chilled on the roof and reminisced about some of their previous encounters and laughed at some of the situations they had gotten into in the past. It had been a while since they had gotten together and just relaxed it was a nice change of pace from what had usually been going on around them. The next day there was a buzz of excitement as everyone got ready to drive their beloved Kamachos. Even with everything going on, they were still able to pull together for a ride through Paleto in their prized vehicles.
After a quick catch up with La Familia Michoacana, Gangster Disciples and More Blood, the High Commands took a quick step to the side for some informal chats. As they stood the sound of a helicopter loomed overhead signalling the end of the festivities.
They left and drove their beautiful cars home, where a masked figure was waiting for them with a stolen car.
They brought the car up to Jeremy at Chilliad to see if he would still accept their deal. Jeremy grunted and looked at what they had brought for him, unsure if he wanted to strike this deal. He broke down the car admiring the parts he was able to get and sell on and happily handed over some cash to them. “No fucking around now” he scowled at them as they drove away in search of some more.Ever so slowly things were starting to pick back up again, but they have not lost sight of their familia vows and pulled together to support LFM in their daily operations. No one is perfect and everyone is human but now was the time for them to pull up their socks and lay down the tequila. It was now time for business to get back to normal.

Fowl Play
After meeting up with a potential new recruit, Alicia brought him to introduce him to the rest of the Vatos. He seemed like a great fit and had already made a great impression on everyone.
The Vatos had an exhibition of wrestling and skill between Donald and Kevin under the watchful eyes of the Aztecas rooting and throwing down some bets.
Once the fight was over, Gabriel and Thad had an epic battle, eventually Gabriel coming out victorious, much to Thad’s dismay.
When the fighting was over, and the bets were paid up and some bruised egos, they wandered through the streets of Paleto. Eventually they came across an open building. Looking around they carefully opened the door and much to their surprise they found a perfect boxing ring. They smiled at each other and knew what had to happen. They asked on radio if anyone was bored to make their way to Paleto. Carlos drove to the chicken factory and purchased some crates of chickens and brought them back to the venue.
Some GD & LFM arrived with music and tequila and the night was kicked off. Feathers flew and bets were made. A lot of money was passed from hand to hand and some significant wins were made, along with a lot of laughs.
People passing by could hear the commotion from outside and stopped in to take a look, have a dance and grab a tequila!
A deputy from the Sheriff's department stopped by after a call had come through of some disturbances. They tried to take a look inside but were swiftly stopped.
After a few more rounds, a few more bets and the release of the chickens who survived, they left the building drunk and in high spirits before returning home and chilling on the roof.

La Fiesta (Part 1)
Everyone knows that Los Aztecas love a good party, and a surprise birthday party was being planned for Alicia. That day she was dropped to HQ to meet a potential trial and when she was done realised she had no ride. She asked on the radio “where is everyone?” and Valentina Guadalupe quickly responded “Where you at I’ll come get you”. People were acting suspicious and she had no idea what was coming. Alicia heard the engine of the car as she pulled into the City HQ in her Chino with a huge smile on her face. “Get in mamacita” she grinned ear to ear. On her lap was a blindfold, she handed it to Alicia and said “You trust me right? Don’t ask, put this on”. Of course Alicia had to ask but she quickly complied and put it on.She could feel the wind blowing in her hair as they hit the freeway and the roar of the lowrider brought a smile to her face. On the journey there she felt something with her foot but unable to see she started tapping it. Valentina laughs as she tries to figure out what it is. On the way there, Valentina says thank you for everything she has done and they laugh about how they came know one another. The car comes to a slow and Val says “Ok you can remove the blindfold, I have two things for you.” Alicia carefully pulls the blindfold from her eyes and looks around her. They were on the back road in Paleto, looking down she sees the carefully wrapped present. Laughing she unwraps it and sees there are two stacks of cash wrapped in rubber bands. Wide eyed she says “Ok what is this for!”. Val starts up the engine of the lowrider and grins, going past the impound and revealing what is waiting in the Church Yard. She leans over just as they pull in and says “Happy Birthday Alicia”. As they pull into the driveaway suddenly the Church comes to life, every car in the yard starting bouncing and people flocked around the vehicle clapping and roaring “Happy Birthday”.
Members of LFM & GD stood proudly beside Aztecas (even some former members who had come along for the celebration) and smiled and wished her well, dropping tequila, cigars, beer and marijuana to her. Alicia was shocked, she couldn’t speak, this was such a surprise she had never been expecting this! So many people and especially Vatos had made the efforts to come and celebrate with her she was so touched. Once she had finished saying thank you and nearly in tears, they ushered her into the back carpark of the Church where a DJ Booth was setup with Padre Juan blasting her favourite tunes.
Drinks flowed and even the rain and thunder couldn’t stop their fun. People came from far and wide to celebrate with the vatos and partied long into the night.
After some laughs, much dancing and much alcohol, they announced on the radio part 2 was about to happen. Much to Alicia’s delight all the lowriders and vato cars were pulled into the front yard and they piled up, bouncing and laughing with Juan setting up the Vato FM radio station for them to listen to the badass music as they bounced down the highway. They stopped for a few moments at Wanted Reup while some of the cars refueled they jumped out of the cars and had a fiesta in the middle of the highway.
As they made their way through the city, cars slowed down and stopped to watch the show. It had been a while since they cruised through the city and stopped at each of their old haunts to shoot a tequila and laugh about the past.
As they drove through the pier people took out their phones and stared in awe.
They passed through LSC and ended up in Grove Street enjoying the peace in the streets. After many hours of driving around they went back up the East highway in the early light of day and made a stop in Sealab for some marijuana and a dance, Vato FM never failing to keep their spirits high.
As they headed back to Paleto, the stopped in Bayview much to the delight of the mechanics who joined in for the party.
The ended up roaring through the streets of Paleto and parking their beautiful cars up in neat lines, continuing the party on the steps of the Church.
The vatos were joined by Burnout Nation who showed off their new vehicle and joined in on the dancing as well as Ava from LSMC and Luke. People they didn’t even know were invited in for a drink.Alicia never stopped smiling the whole day, she was so proud of the Aztecas for their attitude and they commented many times, no matter what happens they have each other for life.

Nothing Changes.. Well, Some Things Do
The war.. is over.
A battle cry of victory was heard throughout the city, but in a sad turn of events the Triads had disbanded. Although they were now gone, a new group of ex-Triads were setting up a group called <Redacted>. They came to the Azteca’s HQ to meet and inform that they wanted to restart a group with the original morals and codes of what Triads used to be before they lost their ways. The groups who had stood strong against them had suspicions, only time will tell if their intents are one of values. They are being watched very very closely, by many many groups. Aztecas, GD, LFM and MB were stronger now than ever, with high spirits all around. Given the want for the growth of new groups, they decided to give them a chance. This city is based on rumours, but people like to thrive on these rumours. People were trying to discredit the Legislative powers that the 12 Criminal Organisations that rule this cities dark criminal underworld agreed to. During a high tea meeting organised by <Redacted> some of these rumours were brought up, almost as fact, and quite quickly shot down by those who had attended the second meeting. It made quite a lot of people angry to hear that even after those who were in the city for so long were still listening to rumours, without even asking. A snitch by the name of <Redacted> was spreading rumours that entire groups were added to the list, but this was not the truth. Guess some things never change. The tea and food was delicious and it was announced when the next trial was to occur. It was made abundantly clear to everyone present how important the largest meeting of gangs in the city brought together for the Jury and Court was unprecedented and impressive, and it is every group's responsibility to have representatives at Azteca's hosted Trial & Court.
When news of the Cartel ripped through the city, connections being gained, and connections being lost. One thing was made very clear;
AZTECAS WERE NOT GOING ANYWHERE
They met up with their friends and familias and chilled at Sealab to remind themselves (and others) how strong they still were.
Of course the marranos had to make a presence but they were so heavily outnumbered, they turned around and fled very quickly. The vatos and their friends decided to not ruin the celebrations that were occurring and leave before the cops tried to initiate a shootout on them.
The Vatos of Aztecas and their familias and friends decided to use this new peace to chill and relax and due to the victory they had earned they chose to pull out their formal cars and make a little show around the city, something they had not done in a hot minute. The Aztecas were so proud of LFM & GD for everything they had achieved since Zeta’s disbanding, and to More Blood for how far they had come, proving that alliances were possible no matter what. Even <Redacted> reached out and let them know that they hoped for increased relationships over time. The outpouring of love, respect and kind words that were coming from every corner of the city was exactly what they needed to hear.
A member of Aztecas decided during these difficult and trying times to leave and was attempting to join another group. But he made a huge mistake. Trying to put all your eggs in one basket without showing any respect to the group that stood by you, supported you and ignored the baggage and drama you brought to give you a fair and equal chance in the most powerful group in the city, was a huge slap in the face. Alicia & Gabriel were in a meeting in Benny’s when one of her most loyal and trusted soldados gave her a call. The sadness in his voice genuinely concerned her. As she stepped outside she saw the look on his face. He explained that this member of Aztecas had already gone to LFM requesting if there was spaces available for him to join. Betrayal flooded through her. She called Tyrone and asked him to come to her and confirm. What she heard just angered her. NEVER had they stopped someone from moving on but to do so in this manner was just so disrespectful.
She jumped on the radio “<Redacted> homie, can you come to Benny’s?”
In a few moments one of the Azteca’s dropped him at Benny’s and Alicia, Gabe and Jack asked him to step inside. Followed by Tyrone, other members of LFM and GD they moved into the garage. <Redacted> was someone very new to the group, and earlier that day she had already searched his phone on the back of rumours of him snitching. He had shown her texts of <Redacted> offering to pay for frequencies, up to 20k PER frequency was being offered. Guess they were desperate at that point. No sooner as he had walked inside than he was put at gunpoint. This man was not someone who had an ounce of respect towards Aztecas and even tried to blame Alicia for it, saying she was not responding to the texts. This was bullshit and every Vato knew it. She looked around the clean white garage and eyed up the clamp.
She demanded he remove his glove to show the scar that she given him only weeks prior, one that meant something more than just a superficial cut to the hand, it was a promise, a commitment, and one he had dishonoured. She made the decision there and then, he didn’t even deserve to keep that scar or his hand. She gave the nod to her people and they dragged him over and put his hand in the vice that was on the counter, twisting the lever to tighten the metal clamps on his hand. He dropped to his knees. She asked him once more has he anything to say, he had nothing. He knew he had made a mistake beyond repair. Never would he join any gang that were of value in this city again. Gabe picked up the circular saw, grabbed the cable and plugged it into the wall before carefully handing it to her. She took the saw and turned it on, as the saw whirred she began to lower it on to his wrist, feeling the flesh and tendons be ripped away. Blood sprayed everywhere. As the saw cut down through the bone he cried out in agony. The people standing behind her couldn’t look away. She didn’t stop, with little force the saw ripped through his wrist and he fell backwards. He cried out in pain and held the bloody stump where his hand once was, the severed hand twitching as the nerves died in the clamp. She whistled for Brutus, Pop’s loyal rottweiler jumped forward and she threw the fresh meat to him. As he licked the blood from the hand, Alicia wiped the blood from her face. She looked down and saw herself completely covered in splatters of blood.
The white room of Benny’s was no longer white. She gave one nod to Jack & Gabriel and they opened fire on him. This was no man that deserved to live.
That night, Alicia sat in her room thinking of everything that had happened. She was doodling in a little notebook when she realised how much the vatos with her meant to this group. And people outside of the group. They were her familia. She marked down every name and began to make a list of all the reasons why they were important. Now more than ever, they needed some encouragement. Unknown to them she had spent weeks learning and practicing how to tattoo. Practicing on skins of animals she had killed. She was under the watchful guidance of Juan who being an expert tattooer taught her techniques and tricks on how to do them perfectly.
The next day the Vato’s were called to the Church by Alicia. She had something planned but none of them knew what, and she was being quite secretive. As they filled up the Church it was something quite special to see how many of them turned up. She ran through the news and most recent events with them ensuring they were all informed of the new groups and gangs.
Once she was done she pulled out a box from under the alter and carefully began to clean down the surface. She dragged a chair from behind and placed it directly in front of the altar. She cleaned down the surfaces, pulled out the inkpots and filled the gun. Laying it down. She explained to them how important each of them were, and how it was time to renew the vows they had made in a symbolic gesture, a small tattoo of 4 words in a location of their choosing. She looked at the list she had made the day before and looked around the room and called her first name - “Navidad Delnorte”. Once the tattoo was completed and any blood was wiped away she listed all the reasons for each person individually why they were important, what they had brought to the group and what she hoped to see from the future. It was a very personal occasion and some vatos cried, laughed and everyone smiled. A sense of rejuvenation was felt among the group.
(There was too many photos so no disrespect to anyones tattoo images that were not used they will all be in the next photobook update)
17 tattoos she completed that night. But she was not finished. She had asked Thad to come to the Church because he had become so close with the group and she explained to everyone that being in the familia does not necessarily mean you are in Aztecas, they had so much respect for GD and others and without them they would not be in the position they were today, making sure it was clear to everyone this was to show her appreciation for what they did day in and day out for them.
Alicia was given the honour of bestowing a beanie hat to the newest member of the Beanie Gang - Ferry Colenta - a proud moment for Dushane & Jack.
Although not everyone was present, she was going to make a point of going to each and every one of the people who impacted their group so much and show them the reasoning too. Not a generic “oh you are great”, but with individual reasoning. When she thought she was finished, she turned around to clean up and suddenly Gabriel said - “But what about your tattoo?”. She grinned from ear to ear and took a seat. Gabriel carefully tattooed the words on her arm. Once he was done, he smiled and gave a speech on how important she was to them. She wiped tears away from her eyes listening to Gabriel, Dushane stood beside her and said “I think everyone should tell her”. One by one, the Vatos listed out the reasons why they had respect and love and loyalty towards her. This was something she was truly not expecting. With everything that had happened, even she had been demoralised, as little as she tried to show it.
This moment of kindness and love was everything that she needed at that moment. The love every single person has for Aztecas, for Alicia, Carlos, Juan and every single member of the High Command, the love they have towards each other was something not to be ignored, and a reason why they are where they are.
Nothing was ever going to knock them down because this was their lives, their love and their reason for existence. Familia will always be the most important thing in their hearts and minds.

The Legislation of Criminals
With the fall of the council and a new future dawning in the criminal underworld of Los Santos, it was time to create a new way forward. The Council had always been the mediators, protectors and upholders of the morals and codes that criminals needed to live by. The major groups of the city had each been at fault with dropping those standards. A consequence of the blame culture that was now rearing its ugly head. Without accountability, without an overarching Senate of Criminals, without a legislator, who would be ones to dictate what is right and what is wrong, how could this even be determined?
Alicia sat and watched for weeks as gangs, both allied and enemies, took on people that had pasts that were… questionable. Azteca’s had always tried to maintain a strong standing when it came to their recruitment, and were often the first ones people come to when taking on one of these. Azteca’s were forgiving, but not forgetful. They know everyone deserves a second chance, people are open to change, but without an agreement across the board as to how this would be maintained in a future with no Council, what would this even look like.
The focus of this future was around creating legislation that gangs should have to uphold. Scrap that, not should, HAVE to uphold.
Now was a time for change, and that change was going to promote a better future, a better culture, a more equal and fair approach to how the criminals of this underworld are held to standards that are agreed upon.
Alicia and two of her primary Capitans, Freddie & Gabriel Barr, began to prepare for this unprecedented meeting. She sat on on the ground and began to make some calls. Whoever she could get a hold of, would be requested to come. 14 text messages were sent out.
“Tonight there will be a meeting of all Criminal Leaders in Los Santos in the Azteca's Church. No weapons. No shit. There is a scourge within our underworld that needs to be eradicated and apparently no one holds anyone accountable anymore.
That said, make the effort and come. We will make this agreement as a means to move forward. This is NOT a meeting to resolve issues between gangs, this is a very specific problem.”She breathed heavily, nervous at the responses she would receive. She gathered the Vatos of Aztecas and explained to them the gravity of what was about to happen. She ordered them to stay in the area, keeping watch, acting as security while this unprecedented meeting was about to occur.
While she waited, she was given information a new group had moved into Paleto, North Side Sinnerz, donning a pink outfit. Hearing that a group had moved into their territory and had questioned her Capitan Freddie as to what he was doing standing in the yard of THEIR Church made her angry. She sent a text to the leader demanding answers. It turned out they were completely harmless and in fact were more than willing to help. She welcomed them to Paleto and gave them incentives to assist and support Aztecas, leaving with them phone numbers and contacts of members of Aztecas to contact when they needed assistance.
Time rolled on the meeting drew nearer. She grew more nervous. What if this had been a bad idea. Groups began to trickle in, while she waited at the door with Freddie, the butterflies almost made her sick. When the final group arrived she walked inside and asked everyone to take a seat. It was at this moment she realised the levels of power that were seated in front of her. 12 of the most notable gangs in the city had made efforts to attend, representatives from almost every group she had reached out to. This was something completely unheard of before, there had been meetings of the large power players in the city, but nothing that treated new and old gangs with such equality.
She looked up from the door and saw her two Capitans standing either side of the Alter, waiting for her presence. She took one last deep breath and moved towards the center of the stage.
As loud as she could she began to speak.“Thank you all for coming today, look around this room, look at the power that is contained within these walls, have you ever seen something like this before?”
She began to explain the purpose of this meeting.
“There is a scourge within this city, something that we have each fallen victim to and something we are each guilty of. We have forgotten how to hold people accountable. We look at other groups and think, well at least we are not doing what they are doing. We let things go and let things slide because our enemies are doing it. No more will this happen. This meeting is NOT to discuss gangs or diplomacy, I do not give a fuck who you are fighting with or friendly with. This is about 1 thing and 1 thing only. Policia.”
As she continued she explained how a culture of using police, snitching and general ridiculous behaviour when it comes to police had overshadowed what it meant to be a criminal. Without the council, it felt like there was noone is being held accountable anymore. No group was innocent of these crimes, even members of Aztecas had shamefully gone against this moral code. She continued, she was tired of waking up hearing stories of “this person” and “that person” utilising police. No matter who is fighting who and no matter what conflict is occurring, there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind who our number 1 enemy is.
She went on to clarify, low level soldiers should know better, but at times they don’t but this is coming from the top down. If we don’t make a change, nothing will change and this will do nothing but get worse. Every representative of their organisations agreed, and a consensus was clear within the halls of the Church.
They discussed at length what it would entail, how would this work and what is expected. Things could not continue, and with the dawn of changes that were happening in the city, future safeguards needed to be put into place. Alicia made it clear, everyone needs to handle their business. Every single person agreed. No single group was to blame, but every single group was guilty, even members of Aztecas had broken this sacred agreement.
Long and healthy discussions were had, and agreements were made. The idea of the Blacklist was brought to the floor, something that the previous Council had created, but something that had completely fallen by the wayside since all people cared about gathering “Clappers”. No more would this exist. The focus of this Blacklist was going to be around those who snitch to Police. She continued, this would be expanded on in the future, but something had to be done in the meantime to start to fix the issues that have scourged their beautiful and dark underworld.
When all the discussions were done and over, she asked everyone one final question;
“I will move group by group, do you agree to make this commitment of change, and bring back the respect and honour we once all had?”.Every single group agreed.
Once the major discussions were over, they decided that to add someone to the Blacklist, evidence would have to be brought forward. A jury of peers, at a minimum 3 of the groups present, would have to review the evidence and determine if they should be added. Brandings of these people would occur at that point. Word of mouth, or personal issues, would not constitute someone being added, this was going to be done by jury. The consequences of being listed on this were great and not to be taken lightly. Snitches for other groups were also discussed and a general consensus was made.
The first 3 names were added to the list, people who everyone agreed with no issue.
When the meeting was adjourned, everyone exchanged names and numbers and after some smaller meetings the church emptied out.
Alicia took 2 pieces of paper and began to document what had occurred, this would be sent out to each gang who attended and be updated at the next meeting.
A new future was being created, it was not going to be perfect, but a new future. It was going to take work and effort, but with the commitments that were given, it was easy to see, everyone was on the same page.
While she sat alone, she received many texts thanking Aztecas for hosting this, how badly this was needed, thanking her for including them and most importantly a single text that said "12 Gangs attended, look at the power Azteca’s hold in this city”. It was a testament to the hard work and dedication of Aztecas. But they were aware of the responsibility that came with this. No one was perfect, not even them, but taking the time to identify and improve was something that they prided themselves on.
The time has come for a new era of criminals, and that time is now.

+1
I cannot stress enough how much I feel this is required. So much of my time and others is spent individually sending texts to people, which I do not mind to do, but when the contact list scrolls back to the top every time you send a message and hit back, having to scroll through and go back through the list to where you were, you lose patience with it.
Sending out event invites would be significantly easier also!
I can see the negatives of this also - Changing frequencies for a larger gang/groups will become much easier and reduce the requirement for "Freq Locations" - but it means when someone comes in game they are not scrambling trying to scroll through mountains of messages with no time stamps from the "4th Nov".
If group messaging cannot be provided please; - Add time stamps to texts as well as dates - And please stop the list from scrolling back up to the top of the contacts once you send a message to someone - Add some type of notification icon for new messages

Feliz Día de los Muertos
Día de los Muertos, an important festival in Azteca’s culture, the Day of the Dead, was fast approaching and the Vatos were very excited for this day of celebration of life and death, but more importantly the festivities that would ensue! Celebrating life and death is very important to the Azeteca’s traditions and culture, bringing these wonderful traditions from their hometowns in Mexico up to Los Santos. Sure, the theme is death, but the point is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members. In towns and cities throughout Mexico, revelers don funky makeup and costumes, hold parades and parties, sing and dance, and make offerings to lost loved ones.
Alicia spent a lot of time checking out venues and trying to ensure that she had people to work the various stations that she had planned for the festival. There was to be a venue, security, food, music, dancing, face painting, pinatas, lowriders, invitations to plan, and that was just to start!
Feeling slightly overwhelmed she reached out to Charlie Lau from FSO. On letting her know of this event Charlie’s eyes lit up!
“Did you know China’s Ghost Festival is fast approaching too?”
Alicia had never known that anyone else celebrated their dead in the same way and was so happy to be educated on the various cultures and traditions the gangs brought to the city. Chi, ever helpful, offered her help and they agreed this would be a perfect opportunity to work together and make a special festival in line with the Halloween Festivities that were occurring throughout the city. Not even the atrocious weather could hold them back.
Chi brought some of her FSO group to the Azteca’s HQ and let Alicia know they had sourced a venue! An outdoor carpark, close to the beach! It was perfect. Chris Kellerman knew the owner of the club personally and was able to reach out and secure the booking for the use of the area.
Things were finally fitting into place. A beautiful invitation was crafted and handed out to save the date!
Days of work ensued, Chi & Alicia worked tirelessly to prepare the event. Chris’s ads ran through Weasel lit up their phones with notifications until the day had arrived and a single gray skull appeared on everyone’s GPS. Alicia was ecstatic.
The day arrived and Alicia could barely contain her excitement, reminding everyone on the radio multiple times! Surely they will be getting annoyed with her they thought, but every single person, even people she thought would not be interested in the slightest made huge efforts spending much time in clothes stores trying to find the perfect outfit, pulling out their fanciest cars, offering help and assistance, asking for opinions on masks and clothes.
Alicia & Chris arrived to the event area very early and planned out where each station would be located. Once they had planned out where everything would be, they got to work pulling out the speakers from storage and setting up the DJ area for the music, dragging the tables across the yard and making sure they were sturdy. Angelo arrived a few moments later and he dragged out the BBQ from the back of the nightclub, got the coals and eventually a beautiful smoky smell filled the carpark. He prepared the chicken and meats and got everything ready for the guests they expected to arrive. While Angelo was preparing the feast for the fiesta, Alicia sat on the ground carefully crafting Pinatas full of chocolates and candies for the Ninos who would arrive later that day. Each one was made with love and care. While they waited a passer by came in and offered some music to help them pass the time! Suddenly Buk Lee arrived in a Taco Truck and set to work setting up the station where he would hand out the food that was painstakingly prepared by Angelo.
With a couple of hours to go, Alicia looked around the yard and grew nervous. What if nobody came. Angelo smiled at her and could sense her nervousness. He brought her over to the Shrine that he had carefully created from flowers and candles where they would be able to stick their messages. She was reminded what this event was for - those who she loved. Who cares who came or not, this was for all those Mexicanos, Chinese & people of Los Santos who wanted to celebrate life and death for those they loved.
She heard the deep roar of the lowriders and looked over to see the Vato’s arriving in their droves in their coveted formal cars. She smiled widely. Their DJ Arabella Guadalupe took the center stage and soon the carpark was filled with music, flicking between Hispanic and Asian influence there was an amazing vibe! More and more people began arriving, the dancing had already started and the Green, White & Red headlights of the Vato’s cars shone brightly on the walls in front of the venue. Things couldn’t look more perfect. The smell of beautifully cooked food filled their noses and the orders began flying! Groups of criminals and groups of civilians made their way to the celebrations, no one caring today about status. Today was a celebration that no one, not even the federales would hinder. (Credit to the Policia for allowing us this party uninterrupted!)
Alicia began to setup her station, pulling from her bag an array of sponges, small and wide brushes and a wide variety of face paints and soon a queue of people were waiting at her station for her to paint on the beautiful Calavera Skull that was renowned for this day. She carefully dabbed the colours on their faces and gently painted swirls, decorative lines, dark eyes and skull faces on the people queued at her station. To the left Chi and the rest of FSO had setup a Fortune Cookie station, people excitedly went to the table to have their fortune given to them in a delicious cookie. Many read out their fortunes, some giggled and some went to the lottery.
After many hours of dancing and partying Charlie announced the Lantern ceremony was about to take place. Everybody began to make their way to the beach where Ling and the rest of the FSO team had setup the lanterns for people to take. People took their lantern and began to write their notes to loved ones who had passed. Placing the notes carefully in the small boats they had prepared they lit them on fire and sent them out in the rough water. It was emotional for some, but people celebrated and smiled remembering those who had passed. Soon the sea was full of lights in an amazing ceremony. A deep grumble of thunder passed over the celebrations and an astounding flash of lightening signalled that everyone should start to move away from the rising tide, as the lanterns were swept out to sea.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and made this event possible, without the Vatos of Aztecas & their familia and friends, members of FSO and City Officials this could not have been possible.Feliz Día de los Muertos

Rest, Relaxation & Recruitment
Over the course of the last couple of weeks, Aztecas took on a handful of recruits; most passed the initial phases and brought a breath of fresh air to the group. Others did not and were let go to find their new paths in life. Alicia’s phone never stops buzzing; requests for guns, offers of drugs, requests for the Church for services, someone asking for help, someone offering help, information and general chit chat. As she was reading through her unread messages she noticed a text from someone who she had not seen in a long time; Costa Black. Alicia had sold Costa his very first gun when he arrived in the city and had seen his progress from a young criminal, moving up to be a trial for Zetas, to unofficial recruiter for FSO. She was aware that he had previously tried out for Irish & Triads, but regardless, she had a lot of trust for him. When Azteca’s was becoming established he had reached out to join them at this time, but the timing just always seemed to be bad. She was surprised to see his message, she did not think he had been in the city so much lately and always remembered when he was a Niño within the city.Even with everything going on, recruitment is something that Alicia holds dear to her heart. No matter what she will make damn sure that anyone who is being brought into her familia and representing Aztecas is someone that can be trusted, loyal, respectful and most importantly an asset. Everyone has weaknesses but these are not something they should be ashamed of, but something that should be identified and worked on. Sometimes these are things that cannot be worked on alone, and require the support of a group. But without the individual knowing what the problem is, no one can help that.
She called him back and told him to come to the Church in Paleto. Under the eyes of the Holy Vato she would determine if now was the time after such a long wait. Alonzo Hernandez and Pablo Mendez accompanied her, as a High Command within a group as dominant and revered as Azteca’s there is always someone trying to take her down and her bodyguards are always kept close by.
When he arrived she could sense his nervousness and attempted to put his mind at ease with some general chit chat. She introduced him to the other Vatos and informed them of why he was standing before them. Not one to be naive she had heard he had tried out for their rival groups and wasn’t going to take any chances and motioned to Alonzo to search him for wires. The Vato extensively searched him and his belongings ensuring there were no devices or wires on him and took his phone from his pocket handing it to her. She scrolled through the messages and watched his face at every step of the way. She could never be so sure. She fired question after question at him, not trying to catch him out but to make sure that if someone was coming into her Familia, she would be able to stand by the decision. She explained why she was giving him such a hard time and he was completely compliant and understanding. You can never be too careful in times of conflict. But at the back of her mind she knew, this was someone who loved Aztecas, and understood what it meant to be a true member of the Familia.
Hours passed and they continued to question and listen very closely to his words. She asked Alonzo and Philip if they had any concerns; neither had. As it had become very late in the city and most of the Vato’s were asleep she decided that along with her other Trial Lewis Guadalupe, she would host a proper event with the family to welcome them in.
Alicia had some business to attend to back home for a day and made a compromise with them - wearing a black and white shirt vato, with a gray variation of the skull mask they were renowned for. Until she completed the recruitment stages, he would not be putting on the gray vato shirt.
Lewis had been on trial for a few days at this point. Although things had started off rocky, she gave him some advice, telling him that others had already passed and to reach out to them for guidance. Jontae, Alonzo & Bobby had stepped up so much since their initial indoctrination with very little guidance. She had received nothing but amazing reports from the Vatos about their performance and from what she had seen with her own eyes they were truly representing Azteca’s in a way she could be proud of.
Every group has different expectations of what “successful” looks like. To Azteca’s it wasn’t about how aggressive they could be - they were already the most powerful group they didn’t need to wave it around. It wasn’t how many bodies they could lay out - they had already laid most of their enemies to waste. It wasn’t about how flashy their cars are any materialistic worth. It was respect, loyalty, trust and development, not just to her, but to the rest of the High Command and their allies. Friends are the Familia you choose for yourself and she will always have the utmost respect for those who show respect. That is how you earn it, and only with time.
Their motto is more than a nice phrase, their motto is their way of life. Mi Familia Sobre Todos. This city is cutthroat and nothing can prepare you for the world of politics that exists between the major groups that dominate the criminal underworld. No matter what, Alicia makes sure that relations, good or bad, are had.
When the conflicts between GD, LFM, Triads & Irish started, Aztecas did their damndest to stay out of it. Only when this conflict was brought into their home did they pick up arms. But they have never gone to beg anyone for help. Alicia held conversations with groups who rumours were circulating that Crimson Syndicate and East Side Ballas were being pulled into these fights.
She held many many conversations with the leader of Crimson. She questioned why he would choose to put his group in the firing line. Although the conversation started somewhat defensive, it was made clear why. They were being blackmailed. The owner of their building was a Triad, and brother of an ex High Command in Crimson. He was charging them low rent and using the property as a mean to ensure their involvement in the conflict. They wanted to use them as glorified meat shields. Horrified at the lack of respect for human life, Alicia went into overtime, trying to help find a solution to the problem. No one should be forced to put their Familia’s life on the line for something they have no involvement. Her heart ached for him hearing this. She had heard rumours that the Sakamoto’s had returned to the city. Aztecas have had a long and difficult journey with both Jake & James. They had fought against them on many occasions. But they had something that could help. They had keys to the Koi directly across the road from the current Crimson HQ of La Spada. No one should have something like their home held over their head. Alicia & Tony took John aside and listened to everything he had to say. Not having good relations with the Sakamoto’s she contacted Mike Laurie and requested his assistance. While they stood together on the roof of Koi she smirked. Mike noticed and asked her what was funny; “Crazy to think just a few short months ago I could never imagine working with you, or standing in this place in a peaceful way”.
Mike laughed, “Your telling me”.
But now was not the time for egos, business is business no matter what. This was an act of kindness and support that she could show towards Crimson. They deserved a break after everything that had happened. A deal was brokered and Crimson could finally break the ties that were being held over their heads by the Triads while ensuring that they didn’t have to leave their home area. Moving some boxes across the road would be nothing, but peace of mind would be everything. They would not need to be dragged into a fight that was not theirs to be had and could stand up for what is right. This was a no strings attached deal, they were not looking for any more allies, they were not looking for anything - they wanted to make sure that the grip being held on this group was not something that would continue. Steps were being made in the right direction. The Leader of La Familia Michoacana dropped down to hear the information and discuss future relations. LFM were a proven organisation within the city. They had grown incredibly close and the respect Aztecas had towards their Mexican brothers and sisters was only akin to that of Gangster Disciples.
More Bloods were someone that Aztecas had a very troubled past with. They had already been in conflict with East Side Ballas over the use of the colour purple. Alicia had heard rumours that members of the ESB were joining in on fights with Irish & Triads and wanted to substantiate these claims. Her trusted Capitan Tony drove her to meet with Walter Melon, the leader of ESB to find out if this was true. She never received a direct answer from him, but was merely being told “we are being backed into a corner”. Alicia pleaded with Walter to not join a fight that is not theirs to fight, not to join sides but to use the time selfishly while their conflict was going on to grow, expand and become a much stronger group. The conflict between ESB & More Bloods was expected, no group should ever just roll over and take disrespect. She offered mediation but was declined at every offer by Walter, it would seem HE was hell bent on being dragged into the conflict with no possible outcome. She could only offer advice, she could not force him to follow it and in sheer frustration got into the back of the Kamacho and said “Drive”. There was no reasoning. More Bloods had become a force to be reckoned with and had a clear drive to make up for their previous mistakes. While Alicia & Kane had been in prison many months ago, no one would have ever thought they would be standing alongside one another. They proved loyalty and showed nothing but respect, clearly wanting to make up for any previously poor relationships. Again, with a love for the underdogs of the city, Azteca’s wanted to see what they were worth, and they had proven themselves. Things change and relationships grow and develop.
When Stephen from the Irish group got wind that the Sakamoto’s were working with LFM and supporting them, he sent Alicia a text. It would appear their sense of morality had become high and mighty. Something that Alicia never understood was they never once questioned what it would take to end the conflict from their side. They tried to spread rumours that Aztecas wanted the Irish to disband. This couldn’t be further from the truth. But until they take the time to find it out, they will never know. Alicia wondered would they ever take that step but it would seem discussion for them had clearly gone out the window. It was sad to see. Criminal organisations are the most important part of this city, whether or not you can see it. They are what drive the economy. They are the nighttime souls of this world.
Costa & Lewis had been wearing their trial shirts and proving their place in the group. When Alicia came into the city, she heard that SWAT had been attempting to arrest her allies, and a large gun fight initiated by their rivals had been won so spirits were high and low across the board. She called out on the radio and requested all the Azteca’s to make their way to the Church in Paleto. The time had come to progress them to the final stage of becoming a full member. All the Vato’s who were not arrested or in the middle of something important arrived to the Church. She first began by asking them for updates on the recent events and ensured she was up to date on the happenings. She stood Lewis & Costa in front of them and asked them the same two questions she has asked every new recruit into the Familia.
Suddenly, a back up call - demands were being given and radio discussions of an ambush filled her ears. Without a moment's hesitation she ran outside opening the gates and watched her loyal vatos go to protect the Familia they had chosen to stand beside them. Alicia went up to the roof of the Church with one of her many protectors, Buk Lee, and said a prayer to Santa Muerte to watch over them, wishing for each to return home safely.
The setup never happened and once the situation was resolved, they all returned home in one piece. They saw Alicia on the roof and joined her. The mood was high and everyone was in good spirits. She dropped bottles of Tequila for her Vatos and Arabella began to play some music.
The radio had gone quite quiet at this point, and knowing that they had not had some time to relax in a long time she said “This is an open invitation for anyone to come chill with us in the Church in Paleto, only one requirement, bring a bottle of Tequila”.
What happened from here was something she never expected. Every single person on that radio descended on the Church, a sight she had not seen in a long time. They all joined her on the roof of the Church until she worried it would not hold them any more and took the party into the Church Yard.
Music, Dancing, Drinking and Laughter was heard around Paleto once more. They revelled in this moment. An orange Bifta pulled into the Yard and a few people began to look towards it. It was a member of the Irish, Roland. Unsure if he was trying to provoke them or was sad to see them having so much fun knowing that he was unable to join in, they did not pay too much heed but stayed on high alert in case an attack was brought their way.
At one point she counted almost 67 people - friends brought friends and even some non-criminals made their way over. A party is a party after all. Church is a place Alicia will never turn someone away from, even people she considered to be enemies and it had been a while since they had brought the light of the Holy Vato into people’s hearts.
The Sheriff's Department made a brief visitation, with one of the newer members of SD not knowing this was a private establishment, but Deputy Jason Wild, always the gentleman, showed that not all cops are bad. He asked her “So are you guys coming back to Paleto?”. Alicia was not in the mood for dealing with the federales in the middle of this celebration and snapped back “You wanna know the truth as to why we are here? Because we just need a moment's peace from the Policia in the City and Church is Sacred”. He smiled and walked back to his cruiser. She felt bad for snapping at him and thought to herself, “they are not all bad”.
She pulled out her Tornado Lowrider and placed it in the middle of the yard, allowing everyone an opportunity to bounce the hydraulics on her “Chica”.
The time had come to finalise the recruitment for Lewis and Costa. She called them both forward and with her knife in hand began the ritual that she had now done 47 times. In front of everyone, she took their hands and held the knife against their palms watching their faces closely. She told them this was a commitment from them, “to be loyal, show respect and at times will be required to bleed for this Familia and our Friends that surround us”. Dray from GD was standing next to her as she spoke these words and quietly said “You remember that every day in this city”. She smiled to herself. She released their hands and cleaned the knife again, this time holding it against her own palm - “but you will not be expected to do this alone, you will have the support love and respect from every Vato in Aztecas as well as the familia you see standing around you". Drops of blood left her hand and she reached forward to each of them to shake their hands. The Gray Vato shirt was handed to them and the Blue Skull mask. They had finally made it.
After a brief conversation with the Queen of Los Santos Kelly Gamble, she opened the doors of the Church and allowed people a chance to look inside. Some had never even seen the Church before.
Everyone treated it with such respect, removing their masks and dropping to their knees to pay their respects. Members of LFM, MB, The Firm, GD and Alicia herself made speeches, said prayers and showed homage to the Holy Vato. You could hear a pin drop as each person said their piece.
Once the prayers were done, the music kicked back off and everyone danced long into the night.

After a long night, and now becoming a little bit hungover, Alicia set about cleaning up the yard of the leftovers from the party.
She parked up the cars, picked up the bottles and stood looking up at the beautiful Church. Oh how things had changed, but in her heart she knew that they were the same. People will come and go, conflicts will start and pass, but her Familia will always be with her.

A Week of Relationships
Even though the city was in turmoil, building relations is something that the Azteca’s never ceased to do.
Some previous members of NLA who had supported the conflicts by the group were looking to join one of our close allies. People they had known for a long time.
On hearing the news, Alicia phoned Oti and warned him of their past experiences and let him know that we were not in a position to just move on. Considering how much respect Gangster Disciples shows towards Aztecas, something other groups had failed to do, both potentials were stripped of their GD pants and informed that they had to build relations back with Azteca’s before they would be given an opportunity. Helsinki setup a meeting and some harsh conversations later, a mutual standpoint was agreed and Dominic was given the all clear from Azteca’s to put back on his Skull Pyjama Pants.Helsinki whispered to Alicia “I wouldn’t do what you are doing you are too nice”. Alicia smiled and replied “Someday I will need a second chance too, and I hope someone offers me that opportunity”.
The Lost MC reached out to the Azteca’s for a meeting to let them know that they were having difficulties with some people in the city. Unprovoked attacks on them were occurring and it would appear that these people were acting in an unruly manner. One of the names Alicia recognised so she brought it forward to Dray. To ensure that good relations were held all around, she introduced Dray to the Lost MC. All the members of GD in town at the time rocked up to introduce themselves and a conversation was held between both of their high commands. An agreement was made, phone numbers were shared.
Smaller gangs in the city were something that Alicia has always held close to her heart. She remembers the days when NLA were nothing but a tiny street crew and looks back fondly on those days, and nothing but blood, sweat and tears brought her to the point that she is at now. A point she is proud of, but one that must always be maintained. This city is cutthroat. You can be loved by many and hated by more. There was a girl in the city that she saw a lot of herself in, someone who was trying to lead her group. But her problem was a lack of understanding that rumours spread like wildfire. Alicia has always tried to do right by the girl, but it would appear she was causing herself many difficulties. Alicia reached out to all those involved and tried to gather as much information (or misinformation) as possible and brought forward the evidence to her. The girl was unable to answer and Alicia left her with some solid advice; “You must be wary of what you say, make claims you can back up and always remember you cannot be liked by everyone”. Alicia left just hoping that those words stuck with her but only time will tell.
While Aztecas, La Familia, Gangster Disciples and More Blood were chilling, news came through of an ambush from her many little birds in the city. Triads and Irish were setting up at a Drug Lab with the sole intention of hitting them. Alicia looked around at the people in front of her and noticed that they had an energy she wanted to harness. She pulled out a piece of paper, one that she usually kept for her vatos, but realised now was a time that maybe people outside of her familia needed to hear. She stood in the middle of these strong men and women, people who had made commitments to protect her, their families and her Familia. People she would forever be indebted to and in her loudest voice made a speech;
“Imagine if you got what you want every time, no struggle, no hard work, no challenges, no hard work required. Some of you are saying that would be great.…. You are given this life because you are strong enough to live it because you are strong enough to drive through it, to thrive in it, to aspire others through it. Then when they will look at you and say he did it, she did it, I have the strength to do it too. You are stronger than you think. You survived all your challenges to this point and you will survive whatever is coming... Your struggle will be the gift that the world falls in love with. Nobody wants to hear a story of a man that was given everything. People want to hear the stories of men and women that endured pain and turned their struggles into a gift. Do you want people just to feel sorry for you or you want people to look up to you?.... No more second guesses, no more blaming others for the problems you have in your life. It's a new day...”
The group made their strategies, moved in and completely annihilated those waiting to hurt her friends and family. They patched up their allies, ensuring medical treatment was the first priority.
In a nod to the Zeta’s who Alicia has always had the highest respect for, she called out “Somebody get me a Jerry Can”
They piled up the bodies and stood quiet. She handed the Jerry can to one of her most trusted Capitans Tony and told everyone to step back. What happened caused awe between all the groups. Tony stood on the rock over them all and aimed at the can. A huge explosion sent chills down everyone's spine. They had completely burned all the bodies, removing all evidence for the federales. They packed up and cleaned up before the policia even knew what was happening.A bit of rest and relaxation was earned by everyone so they decided what better way than to have a race night. Alicia and Carla made plans to host the event. Juan called out “is this for fun or are we throwing cash down?”
Unfortunately between policia, attempts on their lives by random enemies, meetings with high commands from some groups that were being caught in the crossfire of this manic situation and a peculiar situation between Clowns and Weazel, they never got to but they made a commitment to enjoy some time.Dia Los Muertos was fast approaching and they needed to make their plans. Alicia began gathering people to get ideas for what they could do. This was a day that they would honour those who had fallen and passed. An important day. She looked forward to celebrating this with her vatos, friends and familia.
Even with everything going on she ensured that recruitment was followed and each of the trials who had passed their time on what she had seen received their blood bond handshakes and given the coveted gray flannel and mask. She spoke to each of them of what she expected and wanted to see.
She glued in each photo from the week and smiled and cried doing so. This life is hard and you have to be tough. She knows that tougher times are ahead, but she knows she has her familia, and no matter what..

Nice is not Naive
Alicia has formed a reputation within the city as being someone who will go out of her way to help anyone she can. She holds Azteca’s motto “Mi Familia Sobre Todos” very close to her heart and will go out of her way to ensure that no matter what pinche bullshit is going on, her familia knows they have each other to rely on. Whatever happens in this city, the most important thing is that the familia sticks together. In recruitment every single person of the familia makes a blood bond on entering, much to the dismay of Alicia’s poor hand which is now covered in 43 scars, some old some new. People will come and go but so long as the reason is just and valid she would never begrudge someone a chance to leave this lifestyle, and always reminds them they have a home. Aztecas was always a group that took on those who seemed the most unlikely fits at times because of her first arrival to the city. Remembering how she felt like she never had a real place to call home until she met what were soon to be the most important people to her in the world back in El Burro, she bears that in the back of her mind daily. She wants to offer people a place to call home, a familia. Some people were not fortunate to have someone they could rely on. Alicia has been able to rely on the Vatos & Vatas since the moment she arrived.
Looking back she has fond and hateful memories. The hardships that she and the group were faced with were held together by their Jefe, Mano Derecha and all the people that surrounded her. Without them she would not be in the position she would be. No person is perfect and even Alicia needs to be kept in check at times. As much as she portrays someone who always knows what to do, she also needs her familia for protection, “no man is an island” as the saying goes.
Through many sleepless nights caused by people who she kept close to betraying her, and worrying about how to keep her familia safe, she has realised that every person she stands with today has been loyal and respectful. Being the only female High Command in the Council was another huge step for her. As she stood surrounded by Zetas and Triads in meetings that she could have only dreamed about, she realised how much power and sway she truly had in the city.
A couple of weeks ago, she was planting some Marijuana in Chiliad with her vatos, when Goblins rolled in, and there were many. Abilio introduced Alicia to the Goblins and the words he spoke rang in her head “You treat this woman with more respect than your Mother”. These words stuck out to her.
Everybody makes mistakes, and generally she is one who is quick to forgive. But when she feels threatened, Alicia takes a step back. Is this personal or this because they are threatening her familia? The motto of Aztecas was etched in her brain. She attended countless meetings, built relations in the city, worked hard for her Jefe and her people to ensure everyone was treated with respect, once it was returned.
An incident occurred back when the Vatos lived in Paleto of a young Balla who didn’t realise that Alicia had an entire familia of loyal sicarios behind her. He learned the hard way. He was not the first, nor would he be the last.
Mirror (if blocked by YT in your country):

Her word is trusted. She has watched and heard other groups throughout the city ask “why are we doing this”, so she has always taken the time to explain any group decisions, and listen to their input. She has never asked the Vato’s to do anything without a reason, and never once has she been questioned when this is explained to them. There will always be things out of their control, but with Carlos and Juan leading and Alicia managing the people, they were a force to reckoned with. People joined and left, and some of the recent losses hit her hard, El Cheapo was someone who was of high importance to Aztecas. Having retired his gray shirt was something that felt like things were changing. But things were changing, wars had changed, people in the city had changed and with the current conflicts that were constantly popping up, everyone was on edge.
But she never lost sight of the importance of her familia. People tried to say that “Azteca’s had no reason to partake or their justification was unwarranted” but ask any Azteca and they will tell you that every decision has been treated with transparency and she has no doubt in her mind that if the vatos disagreed with the reasoning, they would have let her know.
Alicia spent countless days in meetings with every gang in the city, building relations that she didn’t realise would bring such significance. She remembers the first day she ever received a text from Ricky back in Zetas saying the cops were closing in on them and if we had anyone to send they would appreciate it. Alicia rounded up an army of 20 people and sent them to help them, not one to do anything half assed. New gangs reach out to them regularly making sure they were not crossing any boundaries and seeking relations.
She, her El Jefe and his Mano Derecha have stood firm on the belief that new groups should be given an opportunity to grow, and offered business opportunities, support and advice and even mediation for their internal conflicts. When a man by the name of Alberto disrespected her in prison, Ricky bundled him into a car and brought him in a trunk to her on the beach. This did not end prettily for him, but it showed how if she had made different choices way back when Zetas needed that little bit of support, he would not have given a damn. When Zetas disbanded, Alicia did everything in her power to keep those who remained in the city a place to call home until they eventually found their feet, moving into GD, Triads or some turning their lives around becoming completely legal. During the WCA war with NLA that lasted from November to Jan/Feb, she never stopped giving the vatos motivational speeches, and prepping them daily, even on days when she herself lost some hair, she didn’t see this as a reason to give up, but a motivation to move forward and not let that mistake happen again. When the High Command in charge of NLA caused a huge rift and attempted to fight back, she took that as motivation again to show and prove to everyone, including herself that the familia will stick together no matter what is thrown at them.
The Vatos loved Paleto but they saw the opportunities the city brought, and decided to capitalise on this, moving their gun operations down to the Cyprus Flats factories, next door to El Burro.
She regularly drops into Paleto and goes to the Church to pray to the Holy Vato for guidance and strength and noticed how quiet Paleto has become without them. Again this motivated her to encourage the vatos to show presence in both north and south. So many new gangs appeared and she always made the time for introductions, even if she didn’t like what they stood for, she would offer them the respect to speak. Something she cannot say every gang has offered in return. Gangs who give respect, earn respect. Money means nothing and power doesn't come from numbers. Aztecas have been wildly outnumbered in fights before. During the Skulls and Narco era, they had pistols against AKs, and about 30 less people and still won. Because perseverance is everything, these were wars of attrition.
When they moved to the city, they realised the business opportunities available were huge and eventually built a large gun dealing and narcotics empire all around El Burro and Paleto. Groups such as LFM, Goblins, FSO and GD popped up and showed everyone what motivation can bring. Zetas were always a close friend and ally of Aztecas and the respect that was shown towards them was unprecedented. Even to this day, the respect they show towards Aztecas is matched only by LFM. Aztecas have a strong loyalty towards the high command and original members of the group and have enjoyed watching them grow into the group they are today.
Although Aztecas and Black Santa didn’t have many interactions prior, they have grown to have a close and strong bond. LFM have proven against all odds why they should be revered and why a strong alliance between these two Mexican groups stands strong along side each other.
People began to question why they were not using their lowriders as much as they used to. Only using the Vato cars for formal use and for Shows and events, the Vatos worked many sleepless nights to earn money and considering the amount of gang suppressions, the cars were not something they could use while conducting their operations and they had earned their fancy new cars, essentially living the American Dream. Most of them had come to Los Santos to escape the barrios they came from and had worked their way to the top. Everyone in Aztecas earned their spot to be there. In return Aztecas have always tried to show the same levels of respect back as they had received.
Conflicts sprouted in the city and eventually throughout the whole of Los Santos. It felt like order had been lost, with the breakdown of the council. People on both sides who were previously enemies were now working together and people who worked together were now enemies. But Aztecas took the time to ensure their affairs were in order. They did call out and pursuit training. They ensured they built their treasury as they could. They motivated each other, looked for new people and weeded out those who were not performing. They used the time for them, and why? Because “Mi Familia Sobre Todos”.
Rumours about Daichead Gadai began to hit their ears and their people questioned the alliances that were forming. Aztecas stayed out of it. Until it was brought to their doorstep. Although diplomatic and respectful of traditions and order, they were not going to be pushed around. And hits began to occur. Demands were given and when they were not met conflicts continued to escalate.Alicia kept working away with her recruitment, meditations, discussions and internal familia affairs while always promoting a healthy and positive approach to external meetings. During one of the more stressful days of the city, they obtained the frequency from a Triad who was struggling to understand his High Commands decisions in regards to some of the conflicts. Other Aztecas and some GD jumped on the frequency and within seconds, it was a shitshow. Screaming on both sides occurred and Alicia quietly sat listening to what was being said. Then something she never expected occurred. A threat was made towards her by 3 people, one that sent the blood boiling of all of her Familia, inside and outside Aztecas. 2 Irish and 1 Triad trial was responsible. Their names were etched into her mind and she made it her mission to make an example of them. Afterall, just because she is nice, does not mean she is naive.
During some long overdue relations meetings with Irish and Triads she demanded these people be brought before her. The 2 Irish were simply following the crowd and jeering, but Triad trial was not going to get away with these comments. She demanded he be brought before her. While having a discussion with Irish, one of the responsible irish was brought before her. She put him on his knees and handcuffed him. The leader of Irish whispered to her “You do as you need”. She brought him into a cave and aggressively questioned him about why he said it. He apologised over and over. She thought in her mind, was he sorry or just sorry to be caught. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, she left it up to Lola to make a decision regarding a punishment. Even she was shocked that someone in her group would do this.
Having already dealt with 1 of the 3, and a resolution reached with Lola regarding his status, her sights were set on revenge of the main perpetrator. She thought about it long and hard and made peace with the fact there was only way to send him a message. For a threat like this to be made to her and her leader would only be met with the same level. Alicia has always loved her knives, and she was itching to use it again. The man was brought by the Triads and stood in front of her. He didn’t even dare speak. He wasn’t sorry in the slightest. This made her even more angry. One of the Vatos exclaimed “you dare to threaten our mother”. Even in her anger she heard the hurt in his voice and knew what had to be done. She instructed 2 of her familia to hold him down and a 3rd ripped his clothes off with a crowbar. She kicked him onto his back and asked him again why he thought he could say what he said. The man spoke slowly with heavy breaths from his ribs being kicked “You…. Hurt… My… Family”. The words haunted her, but remembering this person had fought in countless battles against her and shed her familias blood, all she could think was; “Karma”.
She allowed the vatos a few minutes to kick, punch and jeer at the man, humiliating him as he had tried to do to her. Bruce whispered to her “let me put the final bullet in him”, she smiled and said “100%”. She reached over one final time and asked did he have any words? Still met with silence, she reached down with her knife, placing his genitals across the blade and began to saw upwards, slicing and cutting every sensitive tendon. Blood squirted everywhere. One of the Triads fainted and everyone looked on in horror. As she stood with his manhood removed she slapped the man across the face with it before whistling to her dog to enjoy this fresh meat. The man cried in agony and she stepped back to allow her Familia to torture him more. A hot shotgun barrel was laid across his back, “Mi Familia Sobre Todos” was carved into his side and many knife cuts later they stepped back. “Don’t ever mistake my niceness for naivity again”, as she finished these words, Bruce stepped forward and blasted the man in the face with his shotgun. He completely stopped moving and his disgraced body lay in the middle of the vatos. The Triads left, some pale faced. She asked the Vatos to stay back and as they walked towards the car, her voice changed completely - “Let’s go for a party shall we?”. They moved away from the area and went about their recruitment of a valuable asset and stayed in high spirits.
2 down, 1 to go.

El Combate y Las Arma
The Azteca’s Capitaz received a phone call from an anonymous number as they sat around their HQ roof enjoying some Tequilas and chatting to some people who were looking to help the vatos in their day to day operations.
“Hola, who is this?”
“Hola Vatita, are you and the Vatos free?”
“We can be, what, where and when?”
“The Vatos and the Lost MC are invited to the opening of our venue, opening in 10 minutes”.
Alicia jumped and excitedly told everyone to get ready. They raced down to their cars, packed out Kamachos and Reblas and a couple of bikes and made their way across the streets of Paleto. They pulled up in a large group and saw <Redacted> waiting for them in the carpark looking fresh as ever. Slightly nervous at the amount of people who had arrived, Alicia put <Redacted> mind at ease and said “Don’t worry I will keep them all under control” and laughed. <Redacted> smiled and opened the doors welcoming everyone inside. As they entered the modern room was filled with people, an air of excitement and intensity was felt by all. The vatos dispersed through the room and began ordering drinks at the bar expertly made by the Goblins and enjoyed the laughs they had with Lost MC.
The fights were a spectacle, everyone putting their heart and soul into winning and a few bets flew around.
<Redacted> took Alicia & Arabella upstairs to show them the beautiful view from the balcony, “The best seats in the house”.
The vatos, the Goblins and the Lost MC duked it out to music and enjoyed Tequilas, Vodkas and some amazing food that had everyone coming back for seconds.
As the music flowed Alicia’s phone buzzed again, she pulled her phone out of her pocket and saw an unread message from an old friend.
She was concerned, this didn’t sound like the usual conversation from this person so she leaned over and whispered to one of her best Asesinos, “I need to go meet someone”. He nodded and waited for the response. She nodded to Mike and he ran out to get the Kamacho ready.
They jumped in and drove down to the pier to find <Redacted> waiting for her with a briefcase in hand. She could tell by the look on his face something was not right.
“I have decided that I am going to leave this city and continue my travels. Things do not feel right for me now”.
He continued to explain to her some of the reasons and she listened intently to the man who had become a long term friend of hers and the vatos. He stepped forward and left the briefcase at her feet.
Slightly confused she looked down and carefully flipped open the top of the bag and looked inside, and her eyes widened; guns, attachments and filled with ammo. Before she could even speak he continued, “I have more pistolas in the car”. He stepped forward and handed them to Mike, who carefully loaded them into the back of the Kamacho one by one inspecting each one as he did. “But what are these for?” she exclaimed, “and what can I do to repay you?”
“Nothing, I do not want any payment, I want to help out my vatos and give them something to help. I know they will be put to good use”.
Alicia promised to uphold that and reiterated her sadness at his departure.
He turned and walked looking up to the moon standing at the barrier of the pier. “Adios Vatos, Aztecas are to remain strong”.
He got into his car and drove back up the road. Alicia and Mike shared a look for a moment, this was going to help them a lot and they knew it. They got back in the Kamacho and returned to the Goblins Fightclub to enjoy the festivities. A sadness in her heart of what was passing but an excitement towards the future.
