Doesnt really matter at the end of the day, normal civilians cant really contest these scenarios. Its an uphill battle and that's putting it lightly.

Also love how you took their side without seeing their POV. Just have faith their right...

I didn't take anyone's side. I just stated that no rules were broken at that specific scenario and IC procedure was followed. I saw your POV and it seemed all fine to me. The procedure itself is flawed. As you can also see as I previously posted, I was against the deputy in OP's video in rushing in the store like Rambo.

    Of course I do...

Go look the topics ive posted 😄

I did and it seems to me that you majorly disregarded the point made by the Senior Admin. No rules were broken and procedure was followed, however it lead to the injuring of a civilian. That incident is a completely IC matter.

The two robbed the store, I Call for Backup and get to the door, he runs up to me and says "I have a gun pointed at you, dont act this way this is not how his works", his friend ignores the weapon pointed at them,  runs out of the store and proceeds to run me over with stated car multiple times so that the guy holding the. 50 gets into his Trophy truck and drives off.

Would be interesting to see that, do you have your POV saved?

Backup was already called athis point, even before I got out of my cruiser, as I told you ingame, and I get why you wouldnt Report: I wouldnt aswell if my Friend got into a car while under gunpoint and decided to Run you over 3 times before me driving off.

I had a stroke reading the last part. Could you please elaborate?

  5. This is a tricky one. While I don't believe this is non-RP (to some extent it is) to the point that it's report worthy, it's more  of a breach of IC rules and regulations. Also him being an idiot. Who the hell would go through a door of a store robbery by themselves? The man isn't Rambo. He showed clear disregard for his own life.

I'd suggest reaching out to LSSD's high command with this video for review instead so they can remind Deputies how to conduct themselves in an armed robbery, both IC and OOC reminders.

  6. The first two encounters are deffinitely correct in terms of punishment given, however I don't see how the third encounter is Non-RP considering the vast ammount of shit that actually happens in real life on a constant basis. Officer wasn't harmed and was put into his trunk and locked with his radio so the individuals have a better chance of escaping and/or avoiding prison considering the firearms they had on them. I personally dislike how things like this are even reported if the officer didn't lose anything.

I'm sorry but IRL if a bank was being robbed and hella cops were around, there is no way imma be walkin down the street. I ain't tryna get shot. Plus, I am sure realistically it would be blocked off and nearby residents evacuated.

Unfortunately people are stupid and are attracted to tragedy and action, not everyone thinks the same way as you do. (I too would get my ass out of dodge if I saw shit going down in front of me.

Do you think officers would "realistically" allow pedestrians to walk into the line of fire in a situation like this? The area is clearly blocked off in the video and no one is around

It was secure until it wasnt. The scene was not secure at the exact moment the barricade went down and the vehicle had a straight opening to safety. The road ahead was not cordoned off, and scene management wasnt done in that area which is understandable considering the number units youve had. But then that begs the question. Why did officers open fire at individuals who at that point posed no immediate threat to life, in the direction of an area that was not secure.

  9. As a current LEO in the server I have to heavily disagree with everyone saying that the action taken to open fire on the individuals as they were fleeing is reasonable.

Realistically you would have pedestrian traffic and vehicular traffic, not even considering the appartment buildings and entrances that are in the distance. You would risk all of those civilian lives in a realistic scenario (which supposedly the server and the department are striving for). As mentioned, there was no immediate risk of life, and discharging firearms in such a way is negligent and DOES risk lives of not only officers on the scene risking crossfire (which did happen in the past, MANY times), as well as possible civilians driving past / walking past. I seriously want someone to explain to me how THAT part is in any way how a police department would respond without receiving heavy backlash from the public and media.

  10. Afaik backstory doesn't have to be the same as the one you wrote for the application. It just shows if you are capable of writing a story up such as this and if you're capable of Roleplay. And I'm sorry but I laugh every time when people think that the application part that asks that you must be an American citizen or a San Andreas state citizen is a question for your real life situation, no, those are all IC parts 🤣

What Federal crimes do you see being broken on even a semi-regular basis on the server?

bank robberies, especially when those were first implemented and for some reason the administration decided to bring the National Guard with a .50 cal machine gun to combat those instead of the FBI who are employed to investigate these crimes. Also the FBI investigates organized crime. Weapons shipments, kidnappings. Wouldn't hurt to bring a third party to investigate LSPD/LSSD officers of wrongdoings

It is more realistic (in real life, the head of LSEMS would be getting paid more then the CEO of weazel news)

    that is factually untrue

Not trying to offend anyone, but the chief of police should really be earning more then the CEO of a taxi company, and the same with other jobs.

a taxi company is a private company, and the CEO would more than likely earn much more than the chief of police. Especially if that taxi company is very busy

  13. You were followed by police officers for a rather long while, and you haven't pulled over, you continued driving even when the vehicle was right behind you. This by definition is Felony Evading as defined by the Los Santos Penal Code. VC07 only indicates that you should make way for an emergency vehicle to pass you. What you did very much wrong is, not pull over. Intentionally or not, you've attempted to evade the police. What even is your workplace?

The thing is almost all the officers are using heavies and they risk nothing. Have you ever seen a police department using mp5/shotgun/m4? Beside SWAT I never heard about a police department armed with those weapons. Only officers with high training use those weapons. The fact that they are using those weapons give PD so much power and they aren’t afraid of pulling in a gang HQ or going in the middle of a gang shootout because they have nothing to loose. My idea is: PD should have a budget every week to buy heavies or something like that. Free pistols during their services and a limited amount of heavies available for PD. This way, PD and criminals would be involved in better shootout and the RP quality will be better because PD will have to act carefully and set a plan before pulling in the middle of a shootout or before going to a gang HQ/territory.

Many police departments in the US utilize the M4 when officers are certified for those weapons.

Your not losing much, a gps a battery maybe a gun?

so why do you even bother knowing the risk lol

You've made very good points about why shit NEEDS to change and you've just admitted to how shit the robbing mentality is.

Something has to change. I am scared of going off duty as LSPD because I look left and right when I'm 10 meters away from an NCZ. When I refuel my heart pumps like I got hit with 10 epinephrine shots.

    +1 something needs to change
