  1. Have to agree with this, I believe every cruiser should have ONE extra vest in it and no extra ammo.

Vests are always kept in cruiser trunks just like real life, but ammo is obviously never stored there, plus cops get a bunch of ammo in the first place already.

I feel like these would be solid changes.

  2. Complaining about IC actions OOC is soooooooo lame.

You're getting extorted, it happens daily in life.  Either pay, or get fucked over it's simple really.

-1 keep IC situations simply IC, we don't need more NCZ's, we actually need less.

  3. Selling a bunch of vehicles since I no longer use them.

  4. -1 I couldn't imagine having to deal with this as a cop.  When I was a cop, this was one of my fears that this would be implemented and I'd have to set time aside and make more written reports regarding this.

Also it would be way to hard to find someone that can properly RP a Judge / Lawyer.

I don't believe this server is in the state to currently have this implemented either, way to many other things that should be taken care of before this is even brought up.

  5. I do not want to see a DOJ on this server, the pettiest crimes would go to court and be rendered a big deal, waste of everyone's time.  Not to mention, it would be terrible for a cop to be forced to deal with this.  They shouldn't have to be "obligated" to do even more paperwork than they already do.

My big problem with the penal code and the laws though, are that the cops get to the write the penal code which doesn't make any sense at all.  In fact, I believe somethings in the penal code should be changed, especially with fines / times for things.

    Just my two cents though.

The ooc war isnt't only in the player report section but also in #fashion.

I can only speak about WCA, during my time in there Alexalex enforced a couple of rules like not going into /b and to not make any report where the outcome was positive or where no severe loss occured as not doing so makes your faction look bad. Which is great because WCA is one of the few factions that doesn't automatically request Death RP after getting downed. which makes me respect them even though they kicked me from their faction for refusing to take down a forum report.

Sad to see that you removed me from the faction especially now that "pops" is back without telling me I would be kicked if I didn't take the report down as it's against the server rules to do so. That's why I refused.

    • Players must report cases of ban evasion, falsified forum reports, discussion of or jokes about cyber-attacks and other rule breaches. An attempt to hide such information is punishable.

Due to this server rule you are required to report anyone that breaks a server rule. the green part should be removed if you want the Ruleplay to stop.

It usually starts with one player reporting someone from an RP scenario which makes the other side start reporting as well and it discourages players to play crim RP.

In my opinion the server rules should be simplified allowing for more diverse roleplay instead of the usual "hands up". or more clarifications on server rules as they are pretty vague in my opinion.

-1 on the KOS in your "Hood".  We're here to roleplay, not to play cs:go.

I've canceled reports on people when they've reached out to me OOC'ly or where I have not occurred a severe loss, I just simply not reported it.  I doubt an admin is going to come punish you for something if two parties and maturely agree that something was a mistake and that it won't happen again.  That's called being an adult.

I'll also continue to do that myself, I was DM'd a few days ago, and it was a mistake, the person apologized and I didn't lose anything major, nor was any RP ruined due to the result of it.  Just my point of view, I don't know much of your situation but I'm sure there was more to it than simply that.

Regardless, it should be a GOOD thing when the two parties can agree something was a mistake and wasn't done out of malicious hate.  Mistakes do happen, as we are all human.  It's simply not right to point out everyone's mistake, especially if it's something petty that can be resolved with a simple discord chat, or a /pm.

  7. I mean this thread is rather proof and validation to these claims.  Look at how some people are acting in this thread, it's disgusting.  It is not hard to keep things IC'ly only, stop taking things personal and letting your OOC feelings interfere with things.  I'm not going to name names here because it's pretty obvious who is being toxic, just in this thread....

As far as someone mentioning The Council vs Wanted war, that war probably had less than 5 reports, there was respect on both sides, and it was great.  That's how all wars should be, if there is an issue, go to the factions leader about it and talk it out before you start making threads to get people "banned" and bragging about it.  This is a role-play server but so many seem to have forgot that and just want to rule-play which is boring.

  8. You just tagged me saying I'm sucking dick, but I know what hiphop is, unlike you.

I'm going to let you know, you can say all you want on the mic, I don't feel like dusting my mic off for the likes of you, as your bars aren't worthy of mine, nor are you worthy of my time.

But if I see you out and about, this will easily turn into some street shit. So I hope you're prepared for that side of hiphop, when I have an AK aimed at your head and you're begging for me to stop.

I can understand the mentality of what he was saying, essentially the reason for your report would be no longer valid, so you taking the time to file an IA report and then us in IA taking the time to investigate charges that no longer exist, seems a little bit like a fool's errand. Like I'd rather devote my time to a situation where there is something still outstanding to investigate. I can't go into details on the IA investigation methods but it is time consuming for us and we want to make sure that if we're putting that time in, it's for good reason. If the matter was solved there and then, taking it further seems a little unnecessary.

The only person in PD I can defend with 100% assurance is myself, but what I will say is that for the most part, each officer tends to get most of their situations right. I know that statement might raise some eyebrows but like, on duty as a cop, depending on your shift hours, you are having to a lot of these decisions which you have to live and die by. You might make 9 good decisions but get 1 wrong and that's the stick you'll get beaten with, it's the nature of the faction.

I've recently ventured into criminal roleplay on an alt and in terms of the freedom, it's like night and day in PD but you can only really understand what you know, so it's a big ask for me to expect you guys to see the PD side.

I was a former cop, and now I'm a zeta, a lot of what people are saying is actually 100% true.  But I will say I haven't personally seen cops metagame using ID's, but it'd be almost impossible for me to have known that anyway.

Further more, IA reports literally don't do shit, unless it's a big offense, otherwise it's a slap on the wrist.  I've seen big things get passed over and turned into nothing but a simple *Verbal* or *Written* warning.  A lot of offenses certain cops do or have done, should amount to an instant discharge.  Also, to your previous post of telling the guy to "quit moaning" and make an IA report, I honest consider that blasphemy.  Again, they go nowhere and it's just a slap on the wrist.

Anyway, I'm not going to go into a big rant about this because I know it's pointless but closing points are simple, if you're a cop, you need to put yourself in the criminals shoes, and think about you're doing.  We want realism yes, but to a certain extent because at the end of the day this is STILL GTA.  For criminals also, need to put yourself in the cops shoes, and think about what you're doing as well.  That SIMPLE mindset can cure a lot of problems, and can stop a lot of the /b that goes in the server.

One last note as well, you calling others snowflakes and etc, is completely out of pocket.  You're a higher up in the PD, insulting people that have genuine concerns is not the way to go.  I'm sure High Command would not like to see that type of attitude OOC'ly, especially, since I know it's against the rules and frowned upon.

  10. Dear Citizen,

I don't believe this to be true at all.  Chief Reefer has done a great job so far.  It is simply impossible to curve all of the issues and crime in the city, especially this city since it's what I would call, 'special'.  Solely placing the blame on the Chief just isn't realistic either.  There are lots of factors that go into this being a problem.  I know this may seem a bit odd, but have you ever talked to any of those "zeta" members and asked them why they keep coming around?  Have you ever tried talking to the higher-ups in LSC to reach out to a high rank within the department to increase patrols around the area?

I know the owner and 2 higher ups in LSC have ties to the police, so why haven't they reached out to the Chief or someone else regarding this issue?  I am in no way shape or form dismissing what's happening at LSC, and I have noticed some of the issues tied to it as well, and it is very unfortunate.  I will attempt to reach out myself to my higher-ups and see if we can definitely increase patrols around the area and possibly stop the violence happening.  Violence at a garage should not be happening, but I am also a firm believer of trying to talk things out before they escalate even further.  I will do the best I can to attempt to help, but please look at all perspectives before blaming this on the Chief, this is not his fault.

    Sincerely,

    Officer Vyse Legend.
