For the most part, the auto dealerships have been fine with the rates they've been giving. The main issue is the gas stations paying $1000 for a full load of gas, which is a very time-consuming run.

Yeah, I agree with that. The main problem here is the Gas runs for $1,000. Obviously as a gas station owner or any type of company owner, in fact, would like to keep their profit margins high. Therefore we all need to come together and protest this high tax percentage.

so basically it's your hobby. bit weird man

I don't see how it's just a hobby, without the truckers, there will be no fuel. There will be no stock on shelves. The same goes for fishermen. It's not a hobby, it's a career path. At the end of the day, it is something we enjoy doing and would like to make a living off of it.

Having a collection of cars is a hobby, Trucking is not a hobby.

You guys know there are other and a lot better paying legal jobs than being a trucker ,right ?

    😂

I have said it before here, being a trucker isn't just a job for us, it's our career, it's our way of life. We all enjoying driving these big heavy machinery and have a special place in our hearts. So just to say to us change job it's not as easy as that.

The business owners are resorting to threats because they don't know how to negotiate diplomatically. Document it and submit police reports.

Sounds good to me, not very business like, feels like I'm talking with the owner of LosZantos24/7

  5. Hey, I'm looking for some extra side cash to go along side my trucking career. I currently own a Phantom that contains up to 500volume.

I have a good track record with the truckers including long hauling up north and back.

Please get in touch with any jobs that you may have for me.

    Hey,

I am a previous business owner of a gas station.

Back when I ordered fuel - it was not taxed. The income from selling fuel goes to a vault in the business, which you can withdraw out of.

If you choose to withdraw the income - you then get taxed accordingly to how much your assets are worth. (Most people owning gas stations, if not all, will be 35% but it is a dynamic number)

If you keep the income in the vault - and you order - it takes it out of the business and not your bank account, therefore it does not tax you when ordering fuel.

However, when having to buy blips from Weazel News, that cannot be taken straight from the business vault - which means you are paying Weazel News the taxed income.

TL:DR; Income is only taxed when you withdraw it to your salary.

Well that's interesting news, is this still the same of recent days or when you used to own a gas station?

  7. A lot of you are saying that we are calling you business owners out but in fact if I didn't start this we would still have silent air about the whole situation. I was unaware of how high the tax is. I understand profit margins are slim because of it and other expenses.

And calling Truckers a side job is a big insult to us. This is our career, we live in our rigs, we breathe and eat in our rigs. Trucking isn't a side job, it's our way of life. We all enjoying driving our rigs and transporting goods to business but it's coming to a point I'm hardly making enough for the upkeep of my rig. After slugging 20k of fuel up to the top of the map and back for $1,000 hardly covers fuel costs, and the way some people drive, having to repair our big rigs.

The fuel stations maximum capacity is 20k litres, I don't know where you getting 200k from.

200k is the volume we have to load onto our rig, it was stated earlier that 1unit for you is 10volume for us truckers to load onto our rig

  9. Well until something is done, Us truckers will continue to stall deliveries. Do you know how long it takes to fill up 200,000 volume of fuel? Almost 60 minutes, then got to unload at the other end for almost 60 minutes. 2 Hours for $1250 just is not enough. I don't care if you raise your prices or taxes go down. Something needs to be done.

I am the owner of ShoreParadise and Paradise68. I am running probably the cheapest store in the state. You would have to check it out by yourself.

Your order earlier was not good. 2 x 25,000 of fuel for 1k each. Just isn't enough money for us truckers to slave over. We all have families and want to earn an honest wage.

  11. Us Truckers are getting pissed off with low ass jobs for 200,000 volume of fuel. The next time someone lowballs us truckers a job we will retaliate! You have been warned, Especially HayesGas!
