-1. Seem unnecessary. If you want to change your ID, make a new character.

Not many/any posts identify what problem this is solving. Only thing I can think of immediately is when you change your name, you want others to know your new name but I don't think this supports roleplay very well. If you told someone you're called Dave IRL, they'd call you Dave even if you changed your name a day later. It would be down to you to let them know that you changed your name.

    Again, for CKs

A bank shouldnt be a ncz neither should a place where people gamble. The only reason they are NCZs is because people complained enough and they became one. Whats next, is LSC going to be a NCZ? Are the farms and piers going to be NCZ? Like I said, the only NCZ that makes sense is the PD.

Well the Tequila is a nightclub which is guarded, the bank also has guards.

It's virtually impossible to hack police radios for the reason I mentioned. I can't speak for every police department but at least where I live everything is strictly accounted for - Firearms, radios, OSTT equipment (spray, baton, tazers etc) are all issued at the start of the shift and returned at the end.

Not questioning that, I'm speaking about the "advantage".

Changing your name & appearance is not a change of character though.

If there is a CK or change of character then yes but this isn't something that has been officially supported by the server. For this particular suggestion I still give it a thumbs down, however I'd support a system to CK.

IRL if your name is Mark and you change name and appereance people that knew you shouldn't recognize ya

A change of name is not a change of character - All your old acquaintances will still know you as your former name until you tell them your new name.

Yeah but let's say you wanna change name and appereance so that they don't recognize you, they will still have you aliased and they might be act biased towards you

And also what about when you do a CK? Isn't that a change of character?

I don't see why we should give criminals this advantage

As I said, it shouldn't be something easy to get, more like something very hard to get so only few get it. And maybe make it so that you can't use it forever, maybe only lasts for a couple of IRL days.

+1 If the fight or conflict happens outside of a NCZ it shouldnt matter where they run. That is METAGAMING if you run to a NCZ cause your CHARACTER doesnt know that, YOU do...

The char knows that it's a guarded area, which is what NCZs are for.

The problem with that though is that there aren't any ACTUAL guards or police officers. So someone could shoot up another person, get into a chase, then flee to tequilala where they know the person who they just shot at can't retaliate. In reality, the guards or cops there would detain that guy and justice would be handed down, but that's not how it works. NCZs are literally just a safe zone right now where people flee to escape retaliation. It like when little kids play tag and one of them runs under a tree and calls it a "safe zone" so they cant be tagged. (not a perfect analogy, but it's pretty much the same concept.)

Obviously not everyone uses the NCZs for that purpose, but A LOT of people do.

How can we be expected to RP that there are cops and guards at a NCZ when someone can stand on the other side of the street, shoot at someone, then run over to the NCZ where they are immune. It's BS and it's a total exploitation of the system.

My suggestion is to punish those who abuse the NCZs in that manner. In my eyes, it's a form of powergaming.

Well it actually depends on the situation, if I'm in a fight with someone (or they are chasing me without shooting) going to an NCZ isn't power gaming. Also putting some bouncers (players) as an addition would mitigate it, it'd be boring to work as a bouncer, maybe you can choose who goes in and who does not to make it less boring (obv only when at least ONE bouncer is available). It's not a full solution but it certainly would help reduce it.

Problem is people will just lie to try to powergame better prices out of people. "Car belonged to Jay-Z! 650 HP twin turbo!"

    +1 for the concept though.

You're right, but just don't buy it. Even now they can pump it up, the fact that it was Trump's or Jay-Z's won't change most of the players' ideas. If I wanna buy a Stinger GT and one is 300K and the other one is 400K but it "wAs fRoM tHe HeAd oF tHe cIa" I'll just buy the first one [don't mind the pricings, don't know how much one costs ingame]

  10. Yeah maybe the record thing could be a super rare thing. Also yeah calls themselves should not be listened to, I didn't explain myself very well in the post, I meant something like:

A calls the cops "Shootout at Rockford Hills"

the dispatcher says on the radio "Shootout at Rockford Hills", you should be able to listen that, on top of that any convo made with the radio (although I'd be more inclined towards the idea of just hearing the dispatcher rather than the full radio)

-1 Just don't act the way that leaves you with a criminal record if you don't want one.

And for the first suggestion, criminals have way too much power already. -1

Well this is a Roleplay so it's supposed to simulate real life, and in real life people don't wanna get caught and they'd do everything they can in order for it not to happen which includes a police scanner, I bet how effective it would be to say "Just don't act the way that leaves you a criminal record if you don't want one" to any criminal.

Very few people would possess the ability or knowledge to "hack" such systems in real life. It makes no RP sense that everybody would possess such an ability, just as it makes no RP sense to steal helicopters and fly them, but people do it anyway.

Furthermore the risk to reward ratio is completely unbalanced. If you succeed you get access to vital information and presumably PD communications, whereas if you fail you, at most, have to AFK for 2hrs in prison. Also, this just seems to encourage cop baiting, I don't know what use this would have other than to cop bait.

Mh, I'm not saying it should be an easy thing to get, maybe something can be added so that it's hard to get and you actually have to know stuff (like how recipes work for drugs, I don't see people in real life making Heroin from scratch but it's in the server, I saw the shipment more realistic, that's how it works IRL), and also it why would it be used for Cop baiting? Anyway it could be used for robberies and all kinds of illegal stuff...

  13. Date and time (provide timezone): 3/9/18 16.30 GMT+2

    Character name:  Donald Puglisi

Issue/bug you are reporting: I can't put any undershirt under any piece of clothing (I've read about the new clothing not supporting them, but I've tried also with clothings that supported them before the update and nothing)

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Go to a clothes store and try

  14. 1st: If you don't have anything useful don't comment

2nd: What part of "along those lines" don't you understand? My idea was anything that wasn't warrener, glendale etc, that's why I said those names, just to give an idea

    3rd: Solved, bought a 50K brand new Oracle 😉

EDIT: Salty for your report on me not getting accepted? 😉

The police read you your rights without reason, if you're going straight to prison, why read anyone's rights; "you have the right to remain silent bla bla"

Yeah and after that they ask you questions and if you don't answer they threaten to give you a longer sentence

+1. But know that you'd need someone to take people to court.

Well for starters courts could be used to decide someone's sentence, or when an illicit takes place [for example when a cop doesn't follow rules you can take 'em to court], or when someone breaks probation rules

Consigliere: Personal advisor to the Boss.

Caporegime: He’s a higher up, has it’s own crew of Made Men. A Capo can appoint a Made man as his right hand man and to substitute him when absent.

Made men: 1st official rank of the family, but still important. Usually newly Made men get put in the crew of the Soldier or capo that brought them in.

Associates: Anyone who isn’t a made men but still works for the family. [It's a rank in the faction but is considered unofficial]

Puglisi memebers will always be protected by us, anyone robs you, you let us know, we’ll find him and take care of him. Any problem? Call us, we’ll help you!

Every associate will be trained and provided with a radio.

Additionally to these positions, a member can take others positions such as:

Treasurer: Manages treasury, which products to buy and resell.
