    Dearest Eclipse Community,

As many of you know, Moderator Beet filed a report against the Head Administrator BallinByNature. This report got one reply from BallinByNature, and was then never to be visually seen again. In Eclipse general discussions it was expounded that a “higher up” person handled the report, however, there was no transparency to the rest of the community.

I’d like to address this. In the aperture verbal expression from Beet, he verbalized that no person shall be favored in administrative actions. So I fail to understand how abstracting this report and handling with it in the shadows, not shows any favoritism. I personally think that it is very “dodgy” and weird.

I’d like to get your input, on how reports on high ranking staff members should be handled with, and if this case was handled correctly. Bear in mind, I don’t want to bash anybody, however, as a community member, I express my concerns.

I never got my chance to voice my side of the story, and I don’t think anybody else who was involved did.

    Regards,

    Kay133

A trade for a trade eh?

    Hello Mr. Smith,

surely we can meet at the police station and talk about the deal?

I feel like this could be abused by players who are avoiding forum reports.

I think a more viable alternative would be; after a name change, maybe wipe other players memory of your name, keep your ID the same.

Still could be abused, it's a difficult topic.

On the UCP it could show that the player changed his stranger Id from x to x.

Objectively speaking, it's already there, MD has become a non-factor

Perhaps that needs to stop. People should stop being so stupid and die all the time. People do the most insane stunt jumps or speed around every place and then wonder when they die due to it.

(Apologies if anybody was offended by me saying "stupid", I'm not directly addressing anybody, rather appealing that people should stop treating this like GTA Online)

Sure I can say +1 for the rp purpose but lets be serious you can ask any of your friends to just buy the gun for you and gg... imo gangs need to be involved way more in the gun deals and add materials etc

Exactly. If people get caught giving their friends firearms, well no license for them. I'd love to see some large scale gun trade by criminal gangs rather than just going to a gun store and buying a new gun although you were just given a murder charge or armed robbery.

@Kay133 its not just people who don't show up to court it can be failure to pay or a bond revocation for whatever reason such as bad behaviour

+1 To a bailing system introduced with bail bond government business created that can hire bounty hunters

Yes but they don't act as an organization that actively fights crimes, or captures wanted fugitives such as the US. Marshalls or a PD/SD

I mean, as said before whatever if you drive recklessly or kill someone you're going to end up in jail for 2 hours... those are two completly different crimes and yet it's the same punishment, either doesn't make any sense or a bug.

Gta v lacks shitload of development in general, those random crashes, lack of stuff to buy, lack of some roleplay stuff etc etc etc, in general point being the server is far from being developed(all of them in fact) so instead of looking on you're going to screw up some players let's find a way that everyone can enjoy it and actually roleplay.

well with increased jail time, reckless driving and murder would have completely different times. And if something happened due to bugs, it can always be reported.

conseq such as what? back in samp there were none you paid 2.5k bill(which is like 250$ in this server even less) and you lost your weapons if you had any, you didn't lose stuff in your inventory.. you can't say don't get caught because it's not players fault that there're bugs in the server. Also, waiting 40 in game minutes just to die is a screw up in itsself

what do you mean with bugged?

  9. 5 minutes ago, SkylineGT said:

Mate jail time is bugged as fuck, whatever if you're going to drive recklessly or you're going to kill someone you're still going to end up in jail for two hours, and trust me noone wants to sit in jail for 2 hours for some bullshit, and money fines are really depending on your experience and money itsself, being fined 10k while playing for two days and two months is not the same

Well then as a criminal, it shouldn't be your priority to be caught or even involved in a police shooting. Crims could literally just shoot at the cops, then get shot, RP death and then die. I've got no problem with people RP'ing death, but death in general needs to have some sort of consequences. I do agree that more criminal content needs to be added to do stuff, and that the prison also needs some overhauling.

I am not talking out my ass Kay thanks!

I never said it was you, but i don't know what RP your level is at if your questioning mine how about you look at yours first before mine as a criminal.

You’re accusing many members of the PD faction of disregarding their faction duties, without any evidence.

Also, I’ve never said that you’re starting shootouts constantly, I just said that a few gangs do that.

Yes cops are just “Make a crime report” “Make an IA report” “Sorry, not right now” that’s the 3 answers you get unless it’s a small few of the better Roleplaying officers within PD that actually do RP it rather than saying 1 of the above.

It really hasn’t anything to do with roleplay, rather that cops are extremely busy and can’t deal with every person that wants to IA report somebody. I’d love to do some investigating and such, but then we get a “Code 1 officer down”call or similar.
