He should also RP some fear for the sake of giving a good example. When a player sees faction members doing shit like this they'll think this really is a cops n robbers server. It's kinda funny how you don't RP such simple things while you were talking about rping details like having a type of camera..

Yup. Honestly I think there's no such thing as low/medium/heavy RP, you come to a rp server to roleplay. And you do that as good as you can, there shouldn't be any classification between rp levels. Plenty of rules should be added right now so that they can be enforced and the server can start improving on the roleplay aspect. Some things I think we need rn are RPing fear, staying IC, cop baiting, making CK possible with a very good reason and admin permission (also has to be RPed well).

The weirdest (and imo very dumb) thing is, that the rules literally state: ''Players are not required to engage in roleplay by the server rules, BUT failing to do so, will have negative in-character consequences. For example, all government factions must set their roleplay standards that would at least reflect a light-medium level of roleplay, which means that failing to engage in roleplay while being a member of the Police Department or the Emergency Services will have you removed from the faction. Commercial and criminal factions are fully controlled by players, therefore their leaders may set roleplay standards ranging from none to hardcore.'' So basically you don't have to roleplay at all, and don't need to even if someone is trying to rp something with you.

I'm just saying that this would be considered breaking rules on pretty much any RP server, at least the ones I played on. But if you guys don't mind it here then do your thing. It's the same if someone would sell their steam acc for ic money, it doesn't make sense rp wise.

I mean...it's quite obviously metagaming, you will get IC money for OOC stuff in a OOC thread. You could just RP doing part time gfx as a freelancer, then it'd be fine but this is 100% MG.

Isn't this pretty much metagaming? You ask IC currency for something OOC..

I decided to try out roleplaying again after a few years ( coming from samp ) and I installed gtmp, but while browsing these forums I noticed that most people are using GTA:N, is there a difference and should I switch or is it basically the same thing?
