As the server lessens it's restrictions on unbans I see that a line between those who should stay permabanned and those that are given another chance is becoming thinner and thinner. As unbans are made for RWTers I ask that the server truly considers one's desire to roleplay when unbanning. I also believe that any unbans for rwt should be given a long probation period where they are watched closely. Say hypothetically, if someone was just on the server to make money and they make thousands USD, let's say they're a leader of a gang that is absent and it's clear their status is just so that rwt is easier - does the server really want to keep those kinds of players? I understand the need to scale forgiveness, ie if someone did something relatively harmless a long time ago and only made one or two offenses then sure I think a second chance can be offered. But for serial and unrepentant RWTer who were clearly just here to make money? Those are not the kind of players that should be unbanned. Regardless of their hypothetical ability to rat out other RWTers, it is clear after making thousands of dollars that RP is not the priority. Besides, hypothetically if you would unban someone for ratting out those they RWTed with, this gives little to no incentive to not rwt. Anyone could just go and make money, tell on those they made money from, and just go do it all over again.
Just my two cents!
