Spyder Posted August 23, 2021 Report Posted August 23, 2021 Issue Being Reported: Every time I try and login with Rage It says "Downloading server assets. 21mb left." I have tried uninstalling/re installing both GTA as well as Rage and nothing. Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone): 8/22/21 CST 11:00 PM. Your characters name: Zach Simpson Other player(s) involved: N/A Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: I have GTA installed through steam. Not sure if that is an issue.
ArcAngel Posted August 23, 2021 Report Posted August 23, 2021 Load into another server and wait until you reach a login/splash screen. Once loaded in, press F1 to bring up the RAGEMP menu and join the ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY | ENGLISH server. When trying to join, you'll most likely have to do it 3 times. The first time will say "Connection lost" in the bottom right. The second time will say "Establishing connection" indefinitely. The third one should start establishing connection followed by loading server assets. After these steps, you should be in the game. When you reach character select your game may or may not crash, but from there you'll be able to join the server as normal instead of having to jump through these hoops again.

This seemed to of fixed my issue. Is this a known issue with the Rage client if I may ask or?
