Joveltine Posted June 24, 2024 Report Posted June 24, 2024 Taxi Appreciation Day Last week San Andreas' Police Department's Captain III Jessica Nash reached out to Lilymay Bryd over the phone with her idea for a joint event between DCC and SAPD. Jessica had an awesome idea to make five decommissioned police vehicles available to use as taxi's for a couple hours. After an e-mail and a phone call back and forth, the event was set for last Saturday evening. Not five, but seven decommissioned police vehicles were driven to DCC accompanied by seven Police Officers, who were kind enough to join in the event. Each Police Officer was then buddied up with a taxi driver, who were quite excited to have a chance to drive a police vehicle. Eventhough the sirens were removed, the lights were still able to be used. The couple of taxi drivers that were left over buddied up together and everyone made their way to High End to 'start their shift'. After a quiet first half an hour, the taxi requests started to drip in. Everyone moved towards Legion Square parking after the sun went down to wait for requests there. In between waiting they made sure to have a good time, playing music and having conversations with the public. Customers were very surprised to get driven around in a police vehicle and a lot of fun conversations came out of it. Jay and and her buddy LSPD's Saurian Logan ended up picking up a The Lost MC member in Stab City. While everyone in Stab City was initially hesitant, the mood turned around quick once they realised what was happening. Jay also made a phone call to LSC' Liam Binnie and asked him to make a taxi request for a little surprise. Jay quickly took the taxi request once it came in and together with Saurian they went to pick up Liam. After the initial confusion, Liam had a good laugh and jumped in the back of the vehicle. As Liam get a couple errands to run, Jay attempted to get him there as safe as possible. After a couple hours, the event got wrapped up and the taxi drivers drove themselves back to DCC and had to part with the police vehicles and their LSPD buddies. It was awesome to do an event like this for the first time with LSPD. 4 1 1 1 Quote
Seraphina DuPont Posted November 25, 2024 Report Posted November 25, 2024 DCC x LSC Rally Race On the 24th of November, our friends at LSC hosted a rally race at the dam and invited DCC for some friendly rally race fun. All the drivers lined up and signed up for the race, racers from both LSC and DCC prepped for the race. All the drivers did their best and gave it their all, with no injuries on both sides and only losing one car to the watery abyss! In the end everyone had a great time and we all look forward to the next collaborative event between LSC and DCC! A special thanks to Weazel and also LSPD for coming out and keeping things safe for us out there. 8 1 1 1 Quote

JimZvim Posted April 25, 2025 Report Posted April 25, 2025 (edited) THE WINDSOR DROP JOINS THE FLEET On the 13th of April, DCC CEO Lilymay Bryd accompanied by, Rachel Pilota, Olly Green, and Tim Zvim made their way down to Los Santos International Airport where they collected the newest vehicle added to the DCC Fleet! The luxurious Windsor Drop convertible. Known for its elegance and sophistication, the Windsor Drop offers passengers an unparalleled travel experience, combining the thrill of open-air driving with first-class comfort it's a very welcome addition to the DCC fleet. The collection was smoothly executed with the valuable assistance of Evan Valentine, who provided logistical support and ensured all necessary documentation was in order. The new cars were then taken back to DCC HQ where they were given a lick of paint to make them feel at home with the rest of the fleet. Now sporting the DCC yellow and blue the cars were driven down to the high end vehicle market for a quick photo shoot to showcase the new vehicle. All the DCC drivers on shift came down to the depo to take out a Windsor Drop for the first time and take a photo to remember this fantastic day! There was a lot of excitement among the DCC drivers when the cars were announced and everyone is looking forward to driving them for the new special vehicle day throughout the summer months.
