Jdubby Posted May 14, 2021 Report Posted May 14, 2021 Badger Bohunk Oshkosh Wisconsin, on March 15th 1985. I was a normal kid, I love vegemite, the cold days, yu-gi-oh cards, pokemon cards, gameboys and of course as I got older I loved the ladies. I had a great childhood, my family was lower middle class so money was always a stuggle I was always the kid that never had the coolest cellphone or had the hottest clothing. But that motivated me to try and find other ways to entertain myself and my friends. From building makeshift ramps and jumping each other on our bikes to throwing rocks at each other we always found ways to fill the time. My life changed the day I saw my friend "Cup Stacking" I was about eight at this time and seeing how fast those other kids hands moved and slammed that buzzer at the end just spoke to me. I needed to be the fastest, I needed to be the best. I began goofing around with it with the friends what started out as a mild hobby quickly started to become my only passion. I was ditching school to go home and practice on the kitchen table when the parents weren't home and my grades were defintiely starting to show that I was not taking this seriously. I couldn't help it it was my first real passion and one that I never let go of. As time went on the grades got worse and my parents patience grew thinner and thinner with me. They supported my stacking habit but knew there was no future in such a silly dream. I was about 14 when I entered my first competition. I was sweating bullets and althought I came up dead last in the competition it was the thrill of a lifetime. I needed to work harder and I needed more cups in my life. As you can imagine going into high school this hobby wasn't exactly landing me all the ladies attentions. But, there was one fateful day June 3rd, 2001. I had entered into a competition again without my parents knowledge there I had faced off against a girl, her name was Olivia. She crushed me and left me absolutely smitten. I took the loss like a champ and approached her and asked where she was from. She was from Melboune, Australia and traveled the country with her dad in pursuit of winning it all in Australia and be crowned the number one cup stacker. I shared my desires on having the same dream. Naturally as young kids raging with hormones our sparks flew. We parted ways and honestly I never thought i'd see her again. One school day I had come home and saw a direct message to me on my MySpace account. It was her, the love of my life. We talked and talked and talked for hours upon hours. Young and in love we vowed to someday live together as the cup stacking couple of our generation. It was great and my hands were getting faster and faster fueled by this new love. Olivia and I dated for about five years. Putting us both at about the age of 19. One competition though and not just any competition but the Australian Cup Stacking Championship. The grand daddy of them all, the big fish tournament. We both battled for hours and we both made it to the semi finals. My opponent was a man named Chip Finwell. He was a well known stacker but was a bit older then me. I knew I could beat him I knew he couldn't stack for shit. But, on that fateful day he crushed me. After taking the loss of a lifetime I walked to the bathroom, grabbed some water and went back to go find Olivia. When I finally found her, there she was talking, flirting and even kissing Chip. My heart was devastated. Being a young man and in love and having the first real love of your life crush you that way is something that still haunts me to this day. I confronted the two, swore off Olivia and in a fit of rage left the competition to run home like a defeated animal. As time went on the only thing that could heal my broken heart was stacking, the hunger to be the best. I neglected my friends and family and also my education. Until one day I knew my perfect revenge. I was deadset on becoming the best, the best stacker in the world. It just so happened that the perfect place to gain fame in this career was in the states. Los Santos to be more precise. So I knew what I had to do. Not only for myself but to show Olivia that I was the best and to show her what she had lost. So I dropped out of the would be college I was going to enroll in, my parents didnt support this decision but it was my dream, my revenge and my soul purpose. To stack the fastest and be the best. I bought a one way plane ticket, packed my bags and although my parents hated the decision they ultimately decided to support this crazy journey. I bought a one way ticket to Los Santos and began looking for a job. Eventually landing a job as a fry cook. Now my journey is simple, to stack and stack and stack in the limelight of Los Santos. I will become the best and the whole cupstacking world will know the name Badger Bohunk. Quote
