If you have problems with connecting to Team Speak from the Middle-Eastern region

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I stumbled across something that was really annoying while I was trying to do my VOIP Interview for the LSPD. I was able to connect to the teamspeak server that was provided to me by LSPD. When I connected I waited for about 3 hours to have someone interview me. Once I did get interviewed though, everyone's voice were immensely lagging and for everyone my own voice was immensely lagging. After Micky Reefer (My interviewer) and I went through all the possible solutions software and hardware wise, I finally gave up and decided to do what everyone in this country does if an internet service doesn't work properly, using a VPN. Using a VPN fixed it, but here is what you need to do:

In order to be able to use GT-MP and Teamspeak you will have to do the following:

NOTE: If you want to use Teamspeak only, you can end at step number 2.)

  1. Connect to a VPN (I advise using betternet as it's fast, free and easy to use.)
  2. Connect to whatever server using  Teamspeak.
  3. Disconnect from VPN.
  4. Launch GT-MP

There you go you are done!

NOTE: GT-MP WILL NOT LAUNCH WITH A VPN OPEN!!!

Regards,

Kylar Carter
